I was able to follow everything you spoke about, as I'm trying to convert my fusha learning to Palestinian Arabic. The thing I'm trying to become comfortable with is shifting certain harakat when conjugating the plural forms of the verbs.
    Example: basta3mil ( he)
    To: bista3imlu (they)
Trying to get the hang of this but it's driving me nuts, if I didn't study fusha first, I probably wouldn't even had noticed it lol. If u have any tips let me know.
Quick question any Palestinian UA-camrs, you would recommend, cuz I really need to hear it, all the time to improve my listening...
    Thanks, peace

hey ! thanks for watching :)
i know your pain haha - if it helps, the short vowel after ب is ALWAYS going to be kasra EXCEPT for انا when it would be fatha, so your example features a mistake, since “basta3mil” would be “i use” whereas “bista3mil” would be “he uses” (it’s obviously quite subtle though) - so the plural doesn’t actually shift the harakat ;)
as for Palestinian UA-camrs, i partially started the channel having noticed that there’s a distinct lack of Palestinian Arabic content even of the casual kind, mostly just scattered videos rather than dedicated UA-camrs ... there’s one exception, although it might not suit you since it’s a kid’s cartoon in Jordanian Arabic, but if you just want exposure i actually learned a lot from studying those videos - the channel is called My Family Life حياة عيلتنا

Is the active participle for "learning" not used much? Is this why you used "going" at 4:45 to explain المصدز?

No it’s not used. Not every verb has a active participle that can be used like that. I think of the AP as adding “er” at the end of an English word. So if you say Ana raayih you’re basically saying “I’m a goer”, which basically translates as I’m going. As he explained in his dedicated video, taalib (a student) means a “seeker/requester” but you couldn’t use it as in “I am requesting”, you’d use the verb to ask for that.

هناك خطأ في كلمة سهل بحيث أنك كتبتها سهيل لا يوجد شيء إسمه سهيل في اللغة العربية
