Great vid. Question. I replaced the o ring and it still leaks. Does that mean the water pump needs replacing or could there be an issue in the water pump housing
@@AutomedicGarage I thought it was coming from out of the bottom of the housing but weep hole kinda explains why I couldn't see where it was coming from
Hello, is it possible if you don't have a clatch tool or hammer to not remove the clutch but rather to remove the screws behind it, the one that holds the housing that covers the water pump?
I vacuum fill to be on the safe side, these motors are bad about air pockets in the heads. If you don’t have a vacuum filler just fill and crank, run for 2-3 minutes, sit check fill if necessary. Crank again run rpm’s up to 2k for 20-30 secs turn of check full and repeat a few times and you should be good.
Thanks. I really love that process.

@@AutomedicGarage to be honest I'm not sure. Only leaks while the car is not running. LoL can't lie....your video just showed me what a weep hole is

@@darnellcox2779 follow the trail of the leak. I would almost bet my paycheck it’s the water pump seals though.

Never tried it cause I think it would be a pain
Would this be the same for a Lincoln Navigator 09
Yes
Can you add coolant normally while running or is the vacuum necessary?
