I watched Neil step onto the moon when I was 11. I followed Apollo 13 minute by minute. I've been a NASA fan all my life. This movie brought back all of it.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I grew up watching movies like this and always felt the goosebumps these movies portray through the whole America: the world patriotism. Unfortunately, in 2024 I realized USA doesnt do things like this, they spend more of their efforts and energy to bomb little babies and starve infants. And their citizens have no idea.
all I can add is < yeah... ...just please please please... ..bring me home... Le p'tit Daniel, who is thankful anyway to have been able to get in contact with people, who do care, by the fact, that he taught himself... ...to write a word down... ...cause otherwise he couldn't have been able to draw attention towards his very very severe calamity his enemies got him in with the consequence of perishing soon, if pulling him out was to fail... ...and although I stand firm in my catholic faith and am thus ready to see my Maker anytime he calls upon me, I'd rather stay on earth for a certain amount of time to get married, you know....
still wanna be saved and rescued the way the protagonist at 3:31 is saved by Mum Jessica as a parable with me being saved and rescued by Mum Princess and I hope that ain't too kiddish or childish, you know... ...hope very much to see you soon - very soon - in the end-zone waiting for me, Mum Princess! You're the same person here who thinks that all we did was "land on the moon". The amount of technology and data that they just received was insane. They'd have gone over that wealth if information for years. The very basics of "how long could a human be on mars and it's affect on the body" would have his body be one of the most valuable things on the planet. Plus I'm going to remind you that money is a fake and made up concept that in the end means absolutely nothing, it's just compensation for work. You ignored all of the resources that this movie's situation would have given humanity, while being concerned about a limitless concept. This is why when people like you say "but t-t-the money!" you are instantly ignored.

Every student raising their hand to ask a question gives me hope. Too bad it's just a movie.

Stupid statement once your dead how do you divert others resources, for all you know they might go get your body for some permant display.
You've never served. The cost doesn't matter. If there is any chance that you can bring them home, you do that. You don't leave a man behind.
