She's absolutely adorable in this video. And she had perhaps her best role in Eyes Wide Shut. It's amazing how lovingly everybody speaks about Kubrick in these Eyes Wide Shut interviews. I think I even saw a little bit of slightly genuine emotion in Tom Cruise's interview. Stanley Kubrick is sorely missed.
Stanley Kubrick had such influence and even control over the people he let into his life. He could get everyone he worked with to go off to the edge of the Earth to please the man. You almost get the feeling that both Tom and Nicole were more devoted to Stanley than to each other.
STANLEY KUBRICK Sparatacus (1960), Lolita (1962) Dr. Strangelove: Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb! (1964) 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) A Clockwork Orange (1971) Barry Lyndon (1975) The Shining (1980) Full Metal Jacket (1987) Eyes Wide Shut (1999). Stanley Kubrick was the Greatest Filmmaker who ever lived!, and he will be missed...
I've just seen Eyes wide shut, and I found it quite interesting as a film. Moreover, it was Kubrick's last mastepiece before to die, so it's worth to watch it, at least I'm quiet of having seen the movie before to die lol.
the same stories any wife for 10 years has, well actually since they worked so much they probably don't have that many stories together which is kinda sad.
Eric W. Thanks. Yea I remember Stanley done a lot of editing on that movie and for some reason he or the others wanted him to leave out some of the main scenes to show what it was all about
I would say 2001 is the best because of the scope (covers a big expanse of time and addresses human origins), and visuals. Some people say Eyes wide Shut was a flop and goofy but I find it mysterious and engaging. How about the conversation between Cruise and the gate people when he gets out the cab; You want the password? .. If you wish..! And how about Nick Nightingale and Sidney Pollack?? What great characters and performances.!
Steve Morse Kubrick says it was his best, and Kubrick picked Tom, so if you don't like his choice, then you don't like Kubrick, which really just means you don't understand Kubrick.
i think the Shinning will always be his best, although Tom Cruise can definitely make any movie be great, but Jack Nicholson in the Shinning was just outstanding.
@@sharonjensen3016 Outside of the infamous centerpiece the story in a nutshell is basically: Man is jealous of wife having fantasizes of indulging in a sexual encounter outside of their marriage. Husband subsequently gets jealous and attempts to act on sexapades, but to no avail. This all revealed after a bedroom domestic whilst she's on pot.

@Danji Coach you’re a horrible actress, I absolutely despised your rendition of this scene. You weren’t even a woman, it made no sense!
Of course, your art is so Great!!

Kubrick was a Master, unlike any other, we will miss new works, but watch his wonderful body of works, over and over!!!
I love Nicole. I love her classiness.
She gives the most detailed and emotional answers in an interview that he have ever heard! Bravo! Thanks utube.
I’m pretty bummed out that we didn’t get to see Stanleys final cut. He died before he could.
What did they cut out that the Globalist Luciferians not want us to see???

I love the slight Australian accent
She's lost quite a bit of it over time.
It is an Australian accent because she is Australian.
She was so beautiful at the time!

Imagine the stories about Tom that she has.

Mostly business marriage...you don't know the driven!!!!
She is obviously light years intellectually ahead of Cruise. EXTREMELY articulate!
But, then, she's an Aussie. What else do you expect?
Steven Carinci how do you know that just by watching a five minute film your just being critical and judgemental
Mecha Anim exactly my comment thankyou

They are both talented in their own ways.
Forget about Kubrick's eyes - look at Nicole here. Has she ever been more elegant and feminine?!
omg. she's hideous. you're such a hetero.
Nicole I want to know the last 5 to 8 min of the last of the unfinished scene of the eyes wide shut. Only the cast and crew seen it
Eric W. Thanks. Yea I remember Stanley done a lot of editing on that movie and for some reason he or the others wanted him to leave out some of the main scenes to show what it was all about
I have a weird hunch that Eyes Wide Shut, was really a Stanley Kubrick version of a fanfica
She is so gorgeous with tat red hair.
Damn, she's SOOOOOOOOOOOO gorgeous !
Tranquillo trappole dappertutto....
She seems so intelligent...what was she doing with Tom Cruise?? :-P
She looks like the real Nicole Kidman. I don’t know who took her places these days…
Eyes Wide Shut is Kubrick's best movie.
It is most probably his worst...Tom Cruise????

Godlike.
She has a lot of Tom Cruise's mannerisms which is interesting scientifically.
Very interesting isn't it
not really, there were marry for 10 years, if she and he didn't take manner from each other would have been weird
Because Tom was inside the movie and in. 🤔

Eyes wide crap; wasn't fond of the movie at all. Kidman looks great here.
Watch Martin Scorcese's interview about Kubrick on Charlie Rose. He says that Eyes Wide Shut is great.
I didn't love "Eyes Wide Shut" but I didn't hate it either. I did find it hard to follow at times while I was watching it.
