I’m on the fence with the GPS function. I don’t always have use for it. I have found the watch very useful for other things other than motorcycle videos. I think it’s a very niche item. I pulled out my Go pro Max again. I forgot how fast that thing absolutely burns through the battery. 30 minutes at most but usually it’s about 15-20 minutes doing 360 videos. Fortunately it doesn’t have all the issues the standard GoPro has. It does suffer from some overheating but it’s pretty rare. I will never buy another GoPro product.
I don't use the Insta360 very often but the batteries seem to last a long time, I would think 45 to 60 minutes. I bought three batteries and I never use all three on the same day when I'm out in the field. I hope to avoid buying anymore GoPro stuff. I did play around with the Apple Watch tonight and overlaying the GPS data to the Ace Pro. That worked but still too many steps in the workflow. Seems like they intend for those to be 2 minute clips to social media rather than longer productions.
