80 Series Toyota Landcruiser Speedo Repair

After doing the hard yards and completing rings, mains, big ends and cylinder head overhaul, my brother was dealt an unlucky blow with the Speedo also being faulty. He missed the opportunity to re-register prior to the Easter long weekend, but has some more time off this week.
Today I had a quick go at fixing the faulty item.
