Sweet looking bike. Red accents add a unique touch.
I appreciate that. Was worried it was a bit too loud but then again, it's my bike :) I love how it looks.
You didn’t even give the stock suspension a chance. Aren’t you worried about hurting its feelings?
Haha. That's what I did to my 2018 GSA. I took the OEM suspension off at 0 miles and put it in a box. This bike, same thing I just moved the aftermarket from my 2017 and 2018 GSAs over to my 2024. No point in ruining 0 mile shocks when I can sell the bike for a bit more in a few years with fresh suspension.
@@AdamChandler86 I didn’t catch that you saved the stock suspension with the plan to reinstall when you sell your bike. I would think that would make your bike much more attractive to potential buyers. Genius move.
Your screen protector, is that the matte, anti-glare one? If so, how well does it work? What ceramic/nano coating did you use on it? Same coating for the rest of the bike?
This was the Anti-Glare and it's better than stock but will degrade after 2 or so years so it's fine for a while then starts to peel and reveal a shiny layer underneath. Thanks for asking. This is what's on the bike - amzn.to/3WMfPP1 I wasn't ready to endorse it yet because I just applied it but that went on every surface except motor/headers / brakes. It even was on my Jesse boxes, all of the plastics, windscreen, headlight, etc. First wash I could tell a difference but not sure how it'll fare long term.
@@AdamChandler86 Thanks. Thinking of trying it on the wheels and spokes to see how much easier it would be to keep them looking nice. Keeping spokes wheels nice is such a chore.
Not impossible but it is a pain. Same with the gold brake calipers once brake dust cooks on to them, they're impossible to get clean.
Love it Adam. My gsa rally arrives in 2 weeks. Saved the build series, looking forward to adding my accessories on albeit not quite as many as you!
!!! So exciting! What color did you get? You're going to love it.
Love all the mods and they look great. Learned a few more things from you that I’d like to add. Ok, my wife says I have elaborate spreadsheets but you win on that front. Very helpful to make some additional farkels. FYI, I started running the Dunlop Trailmax Mission. Phenomenal tires with great wear and no cupping. Used them from AZ to AK and back and they were the perfect street/dirt balance for me. At 11k miles now and still have 5.5/32s left on the rear (new at 12/32) and 8/32s front (new 10/32). I ran a lot of gear to Alaska and am shocked to how much tire is left given those roads. Safe travels Adam.
Thanks for the tire report, Chris! Enjoy the Summer months and I hope to see you out there on the road.
Thanks!
Wow, thanks for the tip. That's my first one, ever!
Adam - you have saved me countless hours working on my GS bikes! Keep the Videos coming
Ride Safe!
I saw all the build videos, just a little jealous, the bike looks great. Hope to see you in NH some day. Safe journeys on that trip. You have a good wife to let you take that trip. Enjoy!
Thanks for watching everything!
Oh, we’re in NH July and august. I’ll be around for sure!
Sick! I absolutely love it!
Thanks for following along. It’s been a fun series.
Exactly same as yours Adam !
Rock on!!!!
Nice looking bike Sir, wow!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Sweet setup, how tall are you I want that seat!
I'm pretty tall (6'3") but on the GS, you can do low and high on front & back of the seat and Sargent does make a low seat option which has a little less foam but sits about .8 inches lower.
@@AdamChandler86I’m 6’4 just the answer I was looking for! Thanks
