Amazing how much the music was fleshed out before it even left Bernard's flat. Not to diminish Bett's amazing vocal melodies and lyrics and of course Mat and Simon's contributions, but some of those 4 track demos are already so close to being fully realised, even down to the drum patterns. Bernard was really on fire creatively.

wow Bernard is actually quite articulate. First time to hear him talking so much at one time. I feel sometimes that Brett doesn't let Bernard speak as much as he'd like to if you look back at those early interviews.
