everyone is talking about michael being the nightguard but I'm just thinking about how adorable he looks when he gets back up and sits down like a toddler at 1:51 lol.
no it was the guard they are trying to represent the mental things he puts everyone through because they are so scared and trying to live and keep themselves and each other safe they see him every where they go like laurie was seeing michael all day before the big kill scene since that day was the day like dr loomis said in the first movie in 1978 "no don't air it, if you do they'll see him on every street corner, just tell them to keep their mouths shut and their eyes open... he's been here before i think he'll come back"
This scene is actually one giant reference. When Micheal broke into the closet, it was a reference to the original closet breaking scene. When he lifted Will up, that was a reference to the nurse kill in Halloween 2. And when he sits there, he turns his head towards Laurie, referencing the scene where he gets back up after being stabbed.
You can see his eyes in Halloween 2 during certain scenes, especially at the end when he gets shot in the face. But I agree, it's creepier when you can't see them.
@mcs7873, I disagree. I believe that by seeing Michael’s eyes, it is very scary. Looking into the eyes of a person trying to kill you, it really shows that the person has no remorse or any emotion. To look in the blank and emotionless eyes of a killer, makes it more sinister to me.
Reminds me of the scene from Halloween 2 when Michael stabs the nurse from behind and lifts her up. Also, good reference from the original Halloween when Michael breaks into the closet.
Lone Wolf I feel like that's what they were going for. In both cases he came up from behind and Laurie saw them coming . Only this time she warned them
"Poor hiding spot Laurie, come here you motherfuc-.. What the hell? Where is- *BONK* DAAUGH!" I always think that's whats going on in Michael's head when Laurie tricked him lmao

Not only is the final mask the greatest with its somewhat sad expression and messy hair that's really childlike, but also the way he moves and walks... it just paints the picture that even though he's 41, he still is that same little boy who killed his sister all those years ago...

Laurie Strode couldn't hadle the stress of living in Haddonfield after the attack so in a desperate attempt to make sure that Michael couldn't find her she faked her death, and moved 2,000+ miles away to California to start a new life and hopefully ditch her brother forever. But after killing Jamie Lloyd (her daughter) in H6, he came for her to finish what he'd started. That's the most logical way to look at it and it fills all continuity issues/plot holes.
