excerpt from " Vic Chesnutt - It Is What It Is" music performed by Vic Chesnutt, Guy Picciotto, David Payant, Michael O'Brien, Thierry Amar, Nadia Moss
Bvp Peltski On December 25, 2009, at the age of 45, Chesnutt died from an overdose of muscle relaxants that had left him in a coma in an Athens hospital.
I've watched this video 7 or 8 times now and it sends chills down my spine each time. I'm a great fan of Vic Chesnutt's music. I have his entire music catalog. I miss him so. I was blessed to see him live at the Iota Club in Arlington, VA back in 2005...maybe 2006. He was kind enough to sign several of my CD's. The world doesn't know what they lost...
I know this is supposed an excerpt from a film called "It Is What It Is," but it's a little misleading. Vic has a song from his album At the Cut called "It Is What It Is" and this isn't it. The song performed here is called "Everything I Say," and it's from the album North Star Deserter. It's great, and thank you for uploading it, but maybe clarify all this in the description or the title. This video is like the first thing that comes up in Google when you search for "Vic Chesnutt It Is What It Is," and then it's kind of difficult to find a video of the actual song of that name. Thanks. But, again, thank you for uploading. This man was amazing.
Mike Roth good points Mike. It's pretty obvious you are a knowledgable fan and we will update the description to make it clear the context of this clip. Cheers.
i need to be honest... i never heard of this guy before... but goddamn... the most powerfull performance i have ever seen! AMAZING!

I just found one of his records on the street, didn't know him either. Discovered him 10 minutes ago.
