I’ll go first:
I’m Christina, a public high school English teacher, turned homeschooling mom, turned middle school English teacher at a small Christian school. I’m hybrid homeschooling + Christian-schooling 5 kids (ages 1, 2, 6, 10, & 13).
I love the Charlotte Mason homeschooling approach, and many others, but I’d say I’m more of an eclectic homeschooler-mixing the different aspects of homeschool styles that I love-living books, literature-based learning, Montessori, and so much more!
Just as I brought what I learned through teaching into homeschooling, I am so excited to bring what I’ve learned homeschooling back into teaching!

As a special education teacher, I have to say this is BY FAR one of the BEST classroom designs I've ever seen! It's clean, fresh, simple, and inviting. So many teachers want these WAY over the top decor ideas, and it's honestly TOO MUCH for a lot of our kids, especially our kids on the spectrum. I'm a public school teacher, but I wish I could have all the Bible quote signs in my classroom. God's blessings to you and your students this year!
People do not realize how much thought and effort go into creating a welcoming learning environment for students.

That's pretty cool that you were able to take the tables and chairs from your old school. I've never heard of teachers being able to do that and customize their classroom all the way to the tables and chairs. That's really awesome.
Oh no, I wasn’t-just my chair and desk because I bought them for home for teaching virtually!

Could you please do a video of how you breakdown your hours for NY state requirement? I did see in one of your videos you mentioned it but didn’t really elaborate on it. My husband is a teacher, so I have helped him clean/paint/organize multiple classrooms over the years. Such a big task but always so rewarding! It looks great! Love that you stuck with a neutral color scheme which makes decorating for holidays or updating with different trends so easy. Now that hubs put all that effort into helping you, are you going to help him get his office/P.E. supplies organized?
That’s so awesome that you do it with him! Love that!! My husband helped with the one at my last school too, and it makes that much more special-and fun! Haha he has it under control + enlists our boys who love to help too!

The tables and chairs were here! And the bookshelves! And there was a donation to the school that helped me get an additional bookshelf and a class set of a novel per grade! The rest came from me 😊

Hey! I explain this in more detail in my last video, but we are doing more of a hybrid-so my oldest will do some of his credits at school and some at home-my littlest guy will do something similar and my middle two will get their complete year of school at school, joining in on our homeschooling for fun and learning, not reported homeschooling!
