I've given up on trying to explain this channel and these good people to anyone. I'm called a shill and a cheerleader and an excuse maker, etc. People think that the channel is owned by Westerners who know Western life and cuisine and should be teaching the men about everything Western, when the truth is that the owners, producer, cameraman and all of the rest of the crew are actually from the same background as the 4 participants. Everyone has to prescribe some kind of sinister motives behind the owner, producer and cameraman, when they're just doing their best to interpret things that they don't know about either. The comments section on this channel has turned into a nasty, negative place filled with people who think they know things that they haven't got a clue about. I agree with you. I don't understand why these people come here for every video and then leave the most insulting, uninformed comments as if they have some kind of moral high ground. Why don't they just move on? I haven't been reading comments most days, because I start out feeling better for having experienced the content from the channel and after reading all of the assumptions, accusations and vitriol, I go away from the video feeling angry at the ignorant people who are so bitter and suspicious about things that they have no clue about. That kind of negativity couldn't be further from why they do what they do here. 😢
As others have said, it's Red SNAPPER! I have eaten many Red Snapper fish and even fished for them in the Gulf of Mexico (off the coast of Texas, USA). It's not just an Alaskan fish. I also agree with other commenters, and have stated on many occasions, that the producers behind the camera need to do background research before filming so that they share correct information, and correct ingredients of their in-studio cooked meals, with the people being filmed. It's insulting to the viewers for our foods to not have the correct ingredients and/or historical background information. I do understand that some religious exceptions must be made. However, I have seen some basic ingredients completely left out of some meals; especially with regard to some regional differences that should also be explained to the participants. The viewer's comments about this are seemingly ignored since this continues to be a problem. For me, an educator by trade, it's a BIG turnoff and makes me want to quit watching. Also Red Snapper fish got its name from being Red in color AND having large canine teeth!
I don’t understand why you don’t explain to them that the name is not sniper it is snapper. Why do you want to make them look foolish. They are such nice gentlemen Nd it’s not right that you don’t explain to them the correct pronunciation, the correct use of condiments and the correct use or non-use of utensils.
Producers of tribal ppl try look we are all genuine ppl who just wanna see the guys react to dif foods but you need to understand how to take criticism we are only saying to put some more effort in to these videos in order to allow the hosts like Chaudhary and the gang to understand dif cultures and engage better with the community don’t take us the wrong way we support you fully but you need to acknowledge these things
I don't agree that the comments are unduly negative. It's frustrating that the hosts of the channel, not the on camera guys, have not improved in their presentation. If they expect the viewers to identify with the guys, they should do a lot better prepping them with correct information, names, places, history of the dish, and sometimes, even the wrong ingredients are served such as in the Ruben sandwich episode.
You have an excellent point. I know how I would feel if someone let me record a whole video based on incorrect/incomplete information. I'd feel as though I was being hung out to dry in a way. I'd rather be corrected up front. Plus giving them more information lets them truly understand the item or experience and not form false impressions of other cultures. If you care about someone (and we do care about them) you want them to have the best, most complete information so they can understand and enjoy the experience.
I think you are taking your ideas too seriously. Probably best to let them continue to film their idea, which is pretty much described in the title of their channel. Their idea is to try things they know little about and to be genuine in their comments I don't think they see themselves as TV food critics..........................
This is not a cooking series and you cannot get "correct" ingredients sometimes unless you are wealthy enough to import them from where they originate.
So nice to see Chaudhary enjoying fish. When he said it had a smell I was afraid he wouldn’t like it. The humor these two exhibit always makes me smile… those critics out there who insist on conforming to western ways, lighten up. Enjoy the cultural differences and the joy Tahir and Chaudhary spread. Who cares if there is no such fish as Alaska or sniper fish!!
A lot - well, I think EVERYONE - hates stinky, smelly, unfresh fish that is wrongly prepared. And smothering fish with cheese and creamy sauces - oh puh-leeze, NO.
All the people on this channel complaining is getting to be ridiculous now that these gentlemen are doing well it’s seems like a lot of what I’ve been seeing is to much complaining. Why in the hell people are such haters just kills me. I’m happy they are doing good and are out and about experiencing different foods in restaurants just like we do in the US all the time. I’m hoping that they keep doing better all the time and their lives keep getting better and at the same time I do enjoy seeing them all together just like they have always been so please don’t leave them special videos behind. Enjoy yourselves kind gentlemen that means all of you. You all have worked hard to get where you are now so keep up the good work. Godbless you all. And never worry about the complainers people well some people just hate to see other people doing better im not one of them I always like to see people doing better in their lives. Goodluck with everything.
Love this channel, been subscribed since it started, but so ashamed of other subscribers who think it is their duty to post negativity to the producers of the videos. People, knock it off. It's their channel and if you are that negative, don't watch. There are so many viewers who enjoy the channel.
To be fair, they need negative comments as well to help gauge a multitude of factors in their content-making. Having public interactions that are ONLY one side of a coin tells them nothing. Same in any business that deals with customer service. I'm not saying that there aren't a bunch of REALLY big assholes out there, but just telling people to "not be negative" is equally unhelpful.
@@ivaeradon4570 There's a distinction between constructive criticism and negativity that the viewers (other than children) should already know but choose not to.
They almost always enjoy the main entree as served, but why are they never coached as to how to use the condiments and sauces? What the H is Alaska fish?
I googled a list of Alaska fish types, and the only one on that particular list with 'Alaska' as part of its name was the Alaska blackfish, so maybe it was that one? It's supposed to be very good, and apparently take on the flavour of what it has been eating, like lobster, mussels, clams and crabs for instance. So it is often used to make chowder.
They keep mentioning the strong and different flavor of the 'Alaska fish'. The aroma like nothing else. The unique texture. Thinking pretty much it's gotta be salmon!
After going through and responding to so many comments on this video (after a long break of not looking at comments at all), I just wanted to throw my opinion in and say: I love your videos, and I'm so glad that these two got to enjoy such a wonderful seafood experience, ESPECIALLY because the fish was prepared in the western way: with bones removed prior to cooking. It clearly gave them a new insight into how fish could be eaten! It would be even better if someone could give them/the people who cook for them regularly instruction on how to remove bones from fish prior to cooking, or how to cook fish so that the bones soften and can be eaten. I bet it would change their life! I wish each and everyone one of the people involved in "Tribal People Try"- both on and off camera- the best of health, and I'm sending all of my love from Iowa in the USA to you.
Mr Tahir had a great idea - maybe for the second channel. He mentioned that they also go fishing. Why not a video of maybe all of them off fishing somewhere? Maybe even prepare what they catch in their own way? I’d love to see that.
If you're gonna do UA-cam videos about food and other cultures, at least get yourself educated and learn how to spell the names of the foods you're serving to these tribal people. It's annoying to see this channel get so many things wrong. That way when you show them the food, they remember the food as what you portrayed it as when you presented the food incorrectly to them, and it's an insult to the culture to not even have the decency to present these tribal people with the correct information so they AT LEAST learn other cultures and the names of dishes correctly. To me it seems you do not even care to put in the effort, these videos feel like last minute editing and it feels like the editor does not his time to correctly put together these youtube videos, not for the tribal people or the viewers.
Fried. Gag. Of course, freshness can't be complete by the Indian Ocean produces soooo much excellent fish and other seafood. Grilling that - without burying it under frying - would be a real treat... especially side-by-side.
If it would be possible through copyright rules I'd love to do a watch-along of one of Tahir's favorite english movies with him while he comments on it. The food testing is good but I like to see other topics like clothing, technology, entertainment.
I prefer the flavor of fish from the sea to those from fresh water. I enjoyed your puns of "sniper" and "snapper", some people might be silly and frightened by the idea of guns and get upset but I live where both hunting and serving in the military are a way of life. In the Southern US it would be entirely possible to find a man who served his country as a sniper ,retired ,and now enjoys fishing. lol.

Unfortunately, this sort of thing happens with any public-facing media source. It's the sense of entitlement that people presume when spending their time engaging in something they don't know the ultimate outcome of prior to their consumption of the activity. Prior to the Internet, this could be EVERYTHING, and we all know how that goes. Now that we have instant gratification as a default setting on our brains... This is what we get. It's pathetic, because it shows those people don't think about what they're doing- they don't have a sense of self-awareness and/or self-reflection- but there's not much to do about it unless it becomes a public health issue. In my opinion it should have been a decade ago.
It's easy for us to fix one wrong name on a fish for you without hate. It "IS" possible to help someone out without talking DOWN to them. But it's in some people's nature to punish. What is important is that we are all connecting and finding that we have a love for something in common even when we are half a world away from one another. Forgive the haters and grammar Nazis. They have lost the meaning of life. May God bless all of you. (and them, too.)
2 fish from different parts of the USA. Is it red snapper or a similar fish from the P.N.W. . We have a Yelloweye Cod that's orange in color but reel them up to quick and they turn red . People who aren't Washingtonians think they caught a red snapper but caught one of the many cods we have.
Frankly, why bother posting a message like this if all you're doing is un-subbing? No one else REALLY cares what you think in this instance, so you should probably try to get your sense of self-gratification somewhere more meaningful instead of whining on a video in a channel whose content is ultra-specific.
tribal people try - a good FISH restaurant has the WHOLE fish on ice on Display at the FRONT of the Restaurant. you cant choose the fish , but its cut from the Display fish. its kept cold & packed in shaved ice.

As a 4th generation Californian I have never heard of 'Alaska fish?'. Most ocean going fish do not know the country, or state borders, lol?? Halibut, lingcod, black sable, whiting, and snapper 'sniper' fish live in Alaskan waters TOO! I dunno about you guys.. 😅
What the heck is Alaska Fish? Could that be Alaska Salmon? Please Mr Producer, you can fo better. Also it is NOT SNIPER, its Red Snapper. Mr Producer.....those little servings of "fish" are unrecognizable.....why don't you show them photos of the real fish. They will appreciate their meals better.
Glad that Mr. Chaudhary is enjoying some of the seafood! Happy seeing him enjoying the Red Snapper and the Alaskan Fish, he always struggled with seafood but he always give it a try, what a trooper!
All the sniper jokes were worth not giving them the proper name. To be fair, I think Tahir would have done it anyway. He reminds me very much of my favorite uncle who had a unique sense of humor. I miss him very much and seeing Tahir always makes me smile. Glad they enjoyed their meal.
They need to know that all fish have bones, and it is easy to remove them before cooking. Even their own fish which they complain about being full of bones can be deboned easily. I suspect they only eat whole fish which has not been prepared for cooking by deboning. Can someone enlighten them? Also that everything good doesn't come from the USA. In fact a lot of American food they try is unhealthy.
In America you can not succeed without women viewers. I have shared these videos with 20 women at work. Every time they love them at the beginning. They think Chadrhey is very handsome like a movie star. Sadly his unawareness of his crude eating, overly open mouth, oversized mouth, and misuse of a fork like a shovel sickens them. Every time they walk away in discust. Catering to women is something all American men must do. If you want to increase viewership this is the easiest way. Learning proper use of a fork is would not take long. It is a great show except for this lack of understanding Hopefully you are able to understand.
Ignorant of cultures are they? Expect foreigners to do things like we Americans? That's a bit self righteous. And once again they show their total lack of awareness to the rest of the world.
most peopel understand they dont have western table maners and if you decide not to watch people because of that the problem is yours not theirs.. sincerely an american woman.
An other American who think the world revolves around them. This is the way they are, this is part of their culture. Are you also offended by Asian eating with chopsticks because they are different than you?
I'm curious what type of Alaskan fish (waiting for it to appear on screen). Halibut? Cod? Salmon? All great choices. Halibuts can get to be HUGE! But salmon is probably my favorite. It's often smoked/cooked on cedar planks in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, as native tribes have done for centuries.
I never expected to see *so much whining from English speakers in the comments!* Seriously... How good is your Punjabi? Do you speak ANY languages other than English? These folks (even the producers) speak Punjabi! *Stop whining, sit down, and just enjoy the video FFS!*
Sardines are canned, which means the high heat of a pressure canner. That is what softens the bones. If you are wanting softer bones for other kinds of fish, you can cook them using a pressure cooker. However, this will only work for smaller fish that have smaller bones.
It would be a blessing for a person who removes the bones, to teach these men how to do this, they would enjoy their fish served at home without worrying about bones.
They’re respectful of other customers by not filming them, don’t you watch other food review videos where they go when it’s quiet or they specifically choose or ask for a table where they won’t be filming other people?
Sadly every woman I have shown them to were turned off by their inability to properly use silverware. Unfortunately for them proper table manners are required in 2025.
I keep seeing these guys making this "Hoi hoi hoi" sound wheenver they like something. I guess it´s a cultural thing. Could anyone please clarifiy what´s the name of that sound, if it has any? Thanks
I'm Pakistani and it's “haye Haye” and is like a sign of excitement and joy while doing something like people say “mm”when eating something good, but it isn't really civic to say it out loud while eating in front of others
You should show them a video of fileting a fish so they can see how it can be deboning us done. I love their reactions after the taķe that first bite😋"Ouy yoy yoy yoy yoy"😆❤

2 fish from different parts of the USA. Is it red snapper or a similar fish from the P.N.W. . We have a Yelloweye Cod that's orange in color but reel them up to quick and they turn red . People who aren't Washingtonians think they caught a red snapper but caught one of the many cods we have.
That's it.. So boring. Unsub 😂🤣 Sorry
Frankly, why bother posting a message like this if all you're doing is un-subbing? No one else REALLY cares what you think in this instance, so you should probably try to get your sense of self-gratification somewhere more meaningful instead of whining on a video in a channel whose content is ultra-specific.
@ivaeradon4570 Why so mad? :) Relax and enjoy life 🤗
Where does “Dr. Tarheel” come up with this medical misinformation?
Every single video, he claims things that he knows nothing about and have just seen for the first time 20 sec ago.
Perhaps from your new President?
@@MD-wv7ee Which country are you referring to???
@@MD-wv7ee TDS detected. lol
The same place mom came up with you. That guy down the street.
I needed this been busy 2 fav d00ds😁
I'm curious what the fish is that they're calling Alaska.
Mr Chaudray is a chow-hound and likes about anything!
Red Snapper is a fish. There is no such fish as "Alaska Fish"! Maybe it was Cod?
tribal people try - a good FISH restaurant has the WHOLE fish on ice on Display at the FRONT of the Restaurant.
you cant choose the fish , but its cut from the Display fish.
its kept cold & packed in shaved ice.
Better fish places have LIVE FISH to choose from.
Please give them two extra plates, so they can divide the two and have their own plate.
But eating food from a shared plate is common around the world, it might not be what you do though. Are you expecting them to do it because that’s how you eat
I think the fish was caught in Alaskan waters but probably Salmon,Halibut or some other fish, pretty sure there is no fish called Alaska
How the F do you guys not know what ALASKAN WHITEFISH is?
"Alaska fish?" . . . ling cod? halibut? salmon?
As a 4th generation Californian I have never heard of 'Alaska fish?'. Most ocean going fish do not know the country, or state borders, lol?? Halibut, lingcod, black sable, whiting, and snapper 'sniper' fish live in Alaskan waters TOO! I dunno about you guys.. 😅
I'm guessing salmon
Most likely Halibut.
Alaskan 'whitefish.'
@@c.thompson9771 Tell that to "maine" lobsters, Alaskan king crabs, California halibut, California sheephead, California scorpion fish etc.
They will appreciate their meals better.
he is saying snapper and they are hearing sniper
Paddock, Halibut, Cod, Salmon can all have the name Alaska in front. So yeah why more than one Alaska fish.
I could see that one of the fish had a salmon color on their fork. So maybe Alaskan Salmon. I think Red Snapper flesh is white. ???🤔
@@toomanyaccounts Paddock fish?
@@dianeladico1769 i think they mean Pollock
These fish are so large, if our friends are shown a picture of the fish held by a man they would see how the flesh can be cut without the bones.
Glad that Mr. Chaudhary is enjoying some of the seafood! Happy seeing him enjoying the Red Snapper and the Alaskan Fish, he always struggled with seafood but he always give it a try, what a trooper!
You have converted Chaudhary. He thought he hated seafood.... until he tried it.
He needed fresh fish lol
this channel is becoming more ridiculous 🤔
They’ve done it all. A trip to America is the only thing left
nobody is forcing you to watch this channel. holy crap.
Just the negative comments
Then don't watch!
@ladiuneeq9789 shuddup stooge 😆
All the sniper jokes were worth not giving them the proper name. To be fair, I think Tahir would have done it anyway. He reminds me very much of my favorite uncle who had a unique sense of humor. I miss him very much and seeing Tahir always makes me smile. Glad they enjoyed their meal.
Pretty sure he said "Snapper" to begin with, and Tahir just enjoyed it too much. What a lovely guy.
@@ivaeradon4570 You're right. Tahir loves his puns and so do I.
Snapper to Sniper . Hmmmm
@@Evokio
They weren't. They have their own channel.
most peopel understand they dont have western table maners and if you decide not to watch people because of that the problem is yours not theirs.. sincerely an american woman.
An other American who think the world revolves around them. This is the way they are, this is part of their culture. Are you also offended by Asian eating with chopsticks because they are different than you?
Who in the hell do you think you are?!
You want to mess with their heads serve them Baked Alaska 🤣
😂 You know Mr. Sweet Tooth would absolutely love it! 😂
That's actually a hilariously-fantastic idea.
They tried salmon on another restaurant on a previous video.
I never expected to see *so much whining from English speakers in the comments!* Seriously... How good is your Punjabi? Do you speak ANY languages other than English?
These folks (even the producers) speak Punjabi!
*Stop whining, sit down, and just enjoy the video FFS!*
Red Snapper
Really???

RED SNAPPER !! NOT Sniper !!!
lol military fish if you don't like the taste the fish takes you out!!
Sardines are canned, which means the high heat of a pressure canner. That is what softens the bones. If you are wanting softer bones for other kinds of fish, you can cook them using a pressure cooker. However, this will only work for smaller fish that have smaller bones.
And you need a high pressure canning pressure cooker to cook fish bones like a factory.
It would be a blessing for a person who removes the bones, to teach these men how to do this, they would enjoy their fish served at home without worrying about bones.
Apparently the fish most commonly eaten there has a lot of bones in it which is why they always talk about bones when they're eating fish.
tell that to Americans and the Asian Carp invasion is no longer a problem
@ Hey, carp is good eating as long as it's cleaned correctly.
It’s red snapper and Alaska is a state of the US. It’s the one that’s partly in the article circle.
It always makes me smile when these two are together, one is always talking instead of eating and the other one is just enjoying the food.
Please let this be the way that my brothers eat forever with their own plates ✊🏽
Tribal people try - why is it every time you take Guests to try a Restaurant in Pakistan, its ALLWAYS empty ?
are they going out of Business ?
They may take them in pre-prime-dining hours to have more roaming and set-up space. That's what I think.
They’re respectful of other customers by not filming them, don’t you watch other food review videos where they go when it’s quiet or they specifically choose or ask for a table where they won’t be filming other people?
I think one lesson that should be taught to these guys is Table Manners and how to use a knife, fork and spoon, it would be to their advantage!!!
Lol how ridiculous.
Sadly every woman I have shown them to were turned off by their inability to properly use silverware. Unfortunately for them proper table manners are required in 2025.
@@Zingeron Those Karen's sound neither travelled or educated, or empathic for that matter.
Come on... their culture, their table manners. Viva la difference 😊
They don't normally eat with utensils, they with their hands and Roti. So go watch another channel.
Thank you all.
Thank goodness there isn't shrimp. Uncle Chaudry will be horrified.
We call them yelloweye in Alaska. Don't taste like the red snapper you get in the lower 48.
Red snapper is one of my favorites to eat

Chaudhary and Tahir trying delicious seafood take care guys.
🌞🦪🦞🍣🍤🌞
You should show them fishing videos so they can see the American fishes and there sizes
Show the boys how to process fish to eliminate the fish skeleton before cooking
I keep seeing these guys making this "Hoi hoi hoi" sound wheenver they like something. I guess it´s a cultural thing.
Could anyone please clarifiy what´s the name of that sound, if it has any?
Thanks
hoi hoi. looks to mean happiness or excitement
there are songs in Pakistan with Hoi Hoi in the title. If I am reading right they were pretty big in their pop music scene
I'm Pakistani and it's “haye Haye” and is like a sign of excitement and joy while doing something like people say “mm”when eating something good, but it isn't really civic to say it out loud while eating in front of others
Ya mon!
Thank you for another super cool video TPT! I hope you all are happy and well! Peace and love to all! 🐠🐟🦈🦐🦀🦑🐙
I'd love to see the gents on a fishing trip together, why not ?
With actual fishing poles, that would be great!

I am surprised that the doctor knows so much about western things
some movies do release there in edited forms or unedited if you know how to get ahold of them. problem is finding hindi or urdu translations. hindi or urdu speakers can understand one another.
Red snapper 😂 not sniper
The food looked so delicious. Thank you for the video! 👍🏼
I wonder if the Alaska "fish" is actually Halibut. Had friend that would to a Alaskan fishing camp just for Halibut.
When I went to Alaska I caught a Halibut and my pops caught a red snapper on our fishing trip. They were both delicious so im guessing that fish is halibut
whitefish
Red sniper or Snapper?

wondering if Alaska fish is Salmon, Cod, whiting, or pollock? Snapper is good, they should try cajun blackened snapper.
whitefish species
