5:31 So does this mean that, in theory, if you were to have three encounters before a restore and you didn't need to use the heal tokens in the first two encounters, you could have accumulated 6 heal tokens to use in the third encounter if you used Mend once per encounter? and if you did not need them in the third encounter either, all 6 heal tokens would be removed after you were told to restore?
I think so because that is what the conviction stat is for all the adventurers. Conviction is what you use when you make any kind of check, such as Agility or Perception check. There might be modifiers to the Conviction stat sometime in game, but i think that is what they were getting at here at 1:35 when mentioning the two purple dice.
First off, awesome videos! super helpful and fun to watch. I want this now! Small question, the two example Abraxis games differ between how goal number of symbols is calculated from 17:39 to 20:05. In the first example you added +4 to burst because there was a "burst: +4 damage", but in the 20:05 example you add only +1 burst to the goal number of symbols when the weapon showed "burst: +4 damage". Clarification?
100% a mistake on our end. Good catch. The first example should only be 1 burst. The +4 doesn't mean anything in this case. To be honest, we want to address Abraxis in our reprint because it''s a little abstract and weird.
This game looks like its going to be a god damn masterpiece!
lets hope so, I managed to get in on a late pledge but I know some people have been waiting a longggg time for this one.
