Everyday Mechanic It did mate yes,thanks again. Any idea how much I’d be looking at to get front discs and pads replaced on an 03 Ford Focus? I’ve already got the discs and pads,just need them fitted! Cheers mate.
My 2016 transits left hand down and veers to the left. When I brake it pulls to the left a little more. Any suggestions as to what it could be before I take it to a garage? I think the brakes need to be overhauled along with new pads and discs. Could the tracking be out? How could I check? Thanks pal great upload as usual👌
Sounds like a ball joint or broken spring but can't be sure without looking at it. Like you said tracking could be an issue too. Should not be too expensive mind. Hope this helps thanks
For tracking you need to take it to a tracking centre to have them check it using the right equipment.
@@EverydayMechanic Thanks pal, bless you for your prompt response. I'll be having all 4 tyres changed soon and I'll have tracking checked at the same time. It started as a fraction of a pull to the left and now it's progressively gotten worse. I hope it's nothing major. I'm the 1st owner and it's only covered 41k. I don't know if this is a common fault on customs or it's just one of those things. Would you know a rough estimate of what it would cost to get it checked over by a mechanic. I know ford will take me for a ride because they overlook even the slightest things. As they know their vehicles inside out plus they stock the parts, thanks again
