i actually agree with jedivolt. the opening rifféverse riff they play right at the start of this video is at a way higher tempo than usual and it does make it sound like an Alexi Laiho creation. plus their tone in this video sounds exactally like his.
Killswitch has some of the nastiest squeals you'll hear. Love it. Ha.

yeah, they use friggin amazing amps like Framus Cobras. Those sings have those harmonics that sound like they are soaked in water :) Amazing

@KILLSWITCHnut As far as I know, Adam pretty much stopped using Caparisons since his back injury. Caparisons are apparently pretty heavy guitars, and Adam needed a much lighter one to keep being able to jump around and dance :P

@SuperDemonguy i always thought the low e was a piece of cake for pinch harmonics....ive always had trouble on the higher strings.

Yeah, the Vertigo squeal was Adam's "Lick Of The Month" and that's what video it's in. Joel just did it in this video to mess with Adam and throw him off because Adam did it to him when they were playing together in a different video.

Are they using a pinch harmonic on the 2nd fret 6th string on the intro? I can't tell if it's that or the 3rd fret.
Yes, it's played on the 2nd fret. I've tried the 3rd fret, and it doesn't sound right.
