Very helpful brother. Im based in south africa and got a project I'm working on, I just wanted to know if I could use this mosfet module to switch between 2 different power sources e.g if one power source is disconnected the back up power source should take over.
Thank you in advance. Keep up the great work.

If you connect V+ to V- directly, you basically create a simple, isolated switch, i.e. mimic a mechanical relay, that will not bounce if the connected micro controller reboots or restarts. In this case VIN and GND on mosfet side complete the circuit, i.e. switch control. This module was never intended to be used this way, but it does work... having the advantage of not being sensitive to control state changes.

Hi great video, anyway i'm on project to control some water pump with 12V and 2A to arduino is this mosfet can handle it?

we have connected a 24V power supply to VIN and GND, the mosfet led seems to be blinking implying that the mosfet is getting signal from our microcontroller, but when we check the voltage accross V+ and V- it does not seem to change, is it a faulty mosfet issue?

Hey man, thank you for the video! Very useful! I am trying to connect it to ESP 32 and control it with WLED, but it seems I am doing something wrong. Would you be open to help please? I will share more details if so. Thank you!

Have you tried it with WLED in pwm-white/pwm-cct configurations? I wonder if it flickers while dimming the non-addressable cob leds.
I'm planing to connect 5-6 meters of 24V single color cob led (with only +/- pols) to this mosfet and control the brightness of the lights with WLED.
My only concern is if it would flicker this way while dimming on a camera as well as a naked eye.
Would you recommend this setup? Any suggestions or alternatives? Thank in advance!!

Hey man, hope all is well. I am wondering if you have tried what you described in your comment as I am trying to do the exact same thing, but it doesn't work with me. Would you mind helping please?

    Very helpful,
I would like to hear your opinion if this module can handle the controlling of a peltier module tec1-12706, using Arduino,
    Thank you in advance,

Hi, it can handle the TEC1-12706 but it will probably get very hot depending on your duty cycle. You probably want to look into a logic level MOSFET like the IRL520. It will run cooler and generally be a better match for that Peltier module. Good luck!
