I for one Springbok supporter will not crow to hard about our victory. We had our moments, both good and bad. For the most part we did very well as a season opener however the Irish must not be underestimated at all. They are a great team worthy of respect and we should approach the game in Durban with the same intensity and focus having ironed out a few rough spots. Keep building for 2027!

Ireland were robbed of 2 try,s that ref was blind to South Africa's off sides , high tackles ,handling errors, knock ons he should be reported to the ref,s commission, everytime ireland scored ,he got the tmo to look at it ,he did nt want to give the score every time ,but when there was a questionable ,s.a. fault no tmo ,no talking to the linesmen, etc etc etc ,the ref ,had the audacity to question kaelan Doris about asking him questions ,wtf. He was the acting captain ,kaelan called him out ,on 3 questionable ,I.e. wrong calls he made ,the fing ego of him ,not fair game ,even if ireland had still lost ,brown envopes all round down there to officials ,it is ,s.a. afterall beign there
