Without players there will be no officials. Players transgressing on the field of play rightly so. So should officials off the field of play face the music for poor officiating. It is all about performance, winning and striving to be the best, and one poor refereeing decision can ruin all of that instantly. What set officials above players that there are no consequences for their sometimes inexcusable errors?

Hi there. Mighty proud of the guys yes. Am 60 yrs old and been watching rugby a long time. Best team I have ever seen and scary thing is they haven't peaked yet with new guys coming in. Too much pace and power and if you up skill levels, equates to much pressure on opposition 😊

Having two teams develops the overall strength of the squad. It gives more opportunities all players to develop which will benefit the team in the long run.

World rugby doesn't accountability for there referees everyone that speaks up are wrong and they get banned for weeks and months.If this continues we will have matches where the ref will officiated his AR,TMO and WR cause there will be no players and teams on the field to be officiated,because they are all banned.

Wow, you all sound rather small. Grow up. Dupont knows what he is talking about. It's his own country and all damn commentators who make him a god. Even this weekend vs Sharks had our own commentators only call Dupont as the god. So, the world and media is the problem. Not the players themselves.

Dupont is obviously a media darling so I'm not reading too much into what he allegedly said or did not say. I will however note again that France and a number of other European countries are only to happy to get South African and New Zealand players in their teams but they don't want our teams there. They look good against our teams because they have our best and most experienced players but come world cup time we've got those players and not them and we've got more depth thanks to fielding our young players in these comps. That's most probably what irks Dupont!

Busby was rubbish. Best he hits the road before he damages more players careers with poor decision. Hansen was right, Rassie was right ... & still World Rugby would rather focus on penalties for those who shine light on the problem, instead of doing something about fixing the problem.

Rassie should stay as long as he possibly can. He won us two world cups and many other cups. Even if Rassie and the Boks should perhaps loose games in the future and they will but rest assured with Rassie's brilliant rugby brain he will find ways to get past any future problems or disappointments. In my opinion why would you want to fix something that is not broken. Even if Rassie get offers from elsewhere SARB should use their last cent to keep him where he belongs in South Africa.

Yeah, as Springbok supporters we don't want to think about the time when Rassie will no longer be the national coach, but it will indeed be BIG shoes the next coach will have to fill. What will he, the incoming coach, bring that is going to new. Whatever strategy there is, will have been tested by Rassie by then. But we will have to wait and see. But for now, we should not be thinking Rassie vacating the coach' position - if it depends on him, he must stay on as long as possible as the Springbok coach.

Good for South Africa, players from South Africa have been targeted by the URC/Referees all season, and they stayed the course, and were full of class... This happening and a non south African being the one complaining will finally shed a light on the corrupt and Biased refereeing that the URC has. in my humble opinion the hard response and all the penalties are an effort to intimidate others so they don't speak up, and it will work short term, but long term the players will all collectively rise up and speak out and that will damage a great sport... Again in my opinion... Go Springboks!
