Yes I've been knowing that about the jbl partyboxes. But this is not really the case with my partybox 1000 as far as my listening experience. Bass Boost 2 does sound a little stronger than bass boosted 1 and bass boost 2 on my partybox 1000 does not sound as punchy as my other partyboxes on bass boost 2.

I believe it's because the 1000 has a true subwoofer while the other party boxes including the 710 do not have an actual subwoofer. Yeah that make sense. Jbl really upgraded with there jbl partybox ultimate. I think the partybox ultimate has the most speakers since it has two tweeters, two midrange speakers, and two 9" subwoofers, and that would be six speakers in total, which is cool.

The user EQ does work with tuning the bass treble and mids. But regardless with bass it's still hard and punchy but not as bad as bass blast. However bass blast Plus is a different story.

What measument did you use??? dBA slow, dBA fast, dBC , dB peak, dB impulse..... I saw a study on firearms 38 taurus in 1 meter in calibrated high precision meter Results: 106,4 dBA slow 116,4 dBA fast 116,2 dBC fast 131,8 dB peak i believe that at the height of the music a stereo beats a gun
The LG ck99 and JBL partybox 1000 are about the same in max volume performance at 120db. The LG ck99 bass and mids varies depending on the EQ and custom EQ you have it set as. In bass blast Plus the LG ck99 hits way harder than the JBL partybox 1000 and goes lower at higher volumes but it loses a lot of highs and mids. This can be fixed if you go into because of EQ and raise the mids and highs to max but you will lose some of the low-end bass. If the LG ck99 is in bass blast Plus then the JBL partybox 1000 will have much better highs and mids. But if you have custom EQ with the highs and mids at Max on the LG ck99 then there pretty evenly matched and mids and highs. Hope this helps ☺️.
Sorry just seen your comment. The 1000 is a little louder than the 710. Maybe a 3db difference between the 1000 and 710 which is noticeable. The 1000 also had a little bit stronger bass than the 710 especially in bass boost 2. The 710 with the EQ though is very close to the 1000 in bass.

Sorry for the long wait but you got to remember I live in a public neighborhood I can't just make videos and blast these speakers I have to wait till the right time to do it when I get a chance. I have a very strict neighbor that lives across from me. The partybox 1000 did better than the 710 but it's still not close enough to the LG CK99 bass however the LG consumes way more power than the 1000. The 1000s power consumption is 150w while the LG ck99s power consumption is 320w. The LG pulls more power than two partybox 1000s

LG ck99 definitely wins in bass but I'm not surprised since it's 2 15 in subwoofers versus one 12in subwoofer. In overall loudness they're pretty evenly matched. In sound quality it can go either way. Both have good sound quality. But when it comes to the conclusion of who won in overall performance in my opinion. The LG CK99.

I have 2 710s and they push 121db together on a loud song. The LG CK99 at max on a loud song barely reaches 120db so yeah 2 1000s will probably swallow the LGs sound 😂. Two 1000s can probably push 125db.
