Take a front seat ride on Stinger at Dorney Park in Allentown, PA! Filmed in glorious 60 FPS!
I'm just surprised you managed to find it when it wasn't broken
It was broken?
Lol
yea, the one at Walibi Holland was also broken all the time. I think they ended up removing it.
+Jamie op 't Hof I rode this like 5 times when I went to dorney park in july
exactly
Will always be Invertigo from California's Great America to me! 😭✊
I enjoyed this when it was Invertigo at California's Great America (it was Paramount's Great America back then).
Dorney is littttttttttt
I love Vekoma's catch and release system on these rides.
I've been on this ride! But it was down for a long time, and I went on it again and it's not as good 😕 but I still love Dorney!
I just like your profile pic!
i love the colors for this
Kings island still has it. Used to be called face off and was renamed invertigo.
Wait, I've seen a few videos on this channel and noticed there weren't any screams from the rides, so did u ask them if you could film and have no one on the ride?
+Jaciboid56 We do a lot of our filming hours before the park opens.
+Jaciboid56 I think they get permission to film it while the ride is testing
Jaciboid56 there was prob no one in it bc look at the lines
You can still see the Yellow paint from invertigo
It is so cool that this is running again!
Ha. I went to Dorney this past summer and was so stoked to ride it and it was broken down the entire time I was there. Same thing with Possessed; it had gotten struck by lightning...
Are you sure you want to completely demolish Inverted Shuttle Coaster 1?
This coaster was the reason why roller coaster tycoon made a part two and called it corkscrew follies.
Have I seen this ride? Sorry im getting some Deja Vu
+Duck's Apprentice Nice one, haha. :P
+Duck's Apprentice No, because it's not one of the "Deja Vu" style coasters. This is a Vekoma Inverting. Similar, but very different ride.
+Theme Park Review oh cool i didnt know that
+Airboss this is actually called a invertigo by vekoma fun fact. Also TPR, idk what you mean by very different ride, because the rode experience is very similar
This is a very common coaster template,
I like how the guy is all calm.If I was there I would be like "HOLLY SHIT OMG STOP STOP THIS RIDE ."
If only six flags line were that short😂
Their adding a new one where stinger was. Gonna be done in 2024 and it’s a dive coaster
It’s iron menace
All the boomerang coasters like this one that I've seen all have the same two inversions -- a cobra roll and a loop. Is there a reason why it's almost always these two inversions?
will you guys be going to dorney park anytime this upcoming season?
RIP stinger i rode it once and it was indeed a great inverted boomerang, hopefully we will get the new replacement soon
good news mate
@@joelvalencia6738 yes i just saw the news for iron menace i cant wait
How do they make the camera stay so steady?
Camera mount? It's what all professional coaster filming is done with
Camera mount
I am going to Dorney this week and I'm not sure if I will like this ride. It is a Vekoma after all. People say that Invertigo at kings island is pretty good yet they also say this ride sucks. I don't understand. They are both basically the same ride. So basically I'm wondering, should I go on this when I'm at dorney? Or should I skip it for some better rides like steel force?
You should really go in this ride. It's one of my favorites at dorney (other than possessed) you just have to wish it doesn't break down while you're on it. This ride has a very high reputation of getting stuck on a loop or twist. So just pray you won't get stuck. I almost did one time with my friends, but we had just enough speed to get to the drop. Hopefully this helples and didn't scare you and not make u wanna go on it! 😂
Be careful, Stinger gets shut down alot!
Is this the same unit that was at Six Flags America? That closed in like '07 because of the injuries? I know it got dismantled and shipped somewhere, could this one be it?
No, that coaster had a different layout. This is a relocation of the Invertigo at California's Great America
It went on this ride I'll just close my eyes so I don't feel like I'm gonna call when I'm upside down! Blood is rushing up to my brain!
fall audiocorrect
I live about an hour or so from Dorney and I've been on this ride when it's not broken. Let me tell you, if you like to get your head banged around everywhere and possibly a bloody nose, this is the ride for you. Hahaha.
This was originally called Invertigo and it was at Great America in California before it was sent to Dorney Park.
They took the trains from this ride and moved them to invertigo at kings island in Ohio. Is there a difference?
My first roller coaster
This is the Goliath of Dorney Park
First roller coaster I've ever been on that's made me puke I've been to Great Adventure, Busch Gardens, Dorney, Knoebels, Dutch Wonderland, Hersey Park...rides have come and gone over the years....never been sick til here.
do you really have to share this? I think not. disgusting.
Zach Letts hehe try some real shit at six flags
Rip Stinger
Finally an appropriate name for a Vekoma coaster
That looks insane :o
These coasters make me confuse on what's up and down. Or if I am upside down or right side up.
I've seen a lot of Vekoma Boomerangs...but this one is one of the strangest ones I've seen.
Its a Vekoma Invertigo, the inverted version of a regular boomerang
Stunt Fall at Warner Bros. Madrid is steeper and more intense.
i went on it yesterday on a field trip
I notice every POV video when the seats are empty, the coasters make that "rattling" noises as opposed to "roaring" when the seats are full. I guess because there is no weight on the coasters carts.
That’s The camera Rattling around
This is the Carolina cobra from Carowinds but it's a different color and its inverted.
This ride is at Kings Island too
Is the ride still head bumpy?
This thing has been demolished for a while.
Is this a invertigo remake from Kings Island?
Wait, an inverted Vekoma Boomerang?
Does this ride still breakdown sometimes.
Not sure but maybe yes?
This is late, but the ride has officially been taken out of the park.
whats that shaky noise it sounds like someone is crunching up a empty water bottle
omg this is insane
how do you get in the park before anybody?
He's known worldwide as one of the most popular coaster enthusiasts in the world, and parks want publicity too.
Short lived attraction
isnt this like an inverted version of the sea serpant in wildwood?
Yes
I miss Two Face which use to be at Six Flags America. 😧😩😔
So it's The Bat from Canada's Wonderland...just with different colours...and inverted...
I went there a few days ago and I saw the train get stuck at the bottom of the vertical loop.
The Puncakian oh really, how.
Out of all the rides at Dorney Park I would say the stinger is the worst, it's always broken, I find it to be very rough, and it often gets stuck because on the way back it often doesn't make it over the loop.... But I really enjoy Dorney overall, it's a good environment for kids and their Halloween events good as well.
Yep that's why nobody ever rides it as you can see in this video
Lol I'm like the only one who actually enjoys it so no line means more for me 😂
pretty sure that i got whiplash on this ride the last time i rode it, my neck was very much bruised.
This is same as philippine's Space Shuttle 😳👏🏻 but this is better #realtalk
Idk about you. But I sure think it would be fun to see a video of Robb Alvey and some of his friends actually "Facing" each other on one of these Invertigos!😉
+Beau Mitchell The puns are real
I got stuck on this ride last year
same lay-out as the speed of sound in Holland. but this is a hanging one
I miss the Laser.
this doesn't remind me at all of invertigo
this is kind of similar to FLASHBACK At six flags great escape except this one has more loops
It reminds me of Déjà Vu at Magic Mountain. I don't know if that's coincidence or irony.
Made by the same company with a similar design (Deja Vu is this design on steriods)
When I went there, there was some Mlg dub step song
this ride looks exactly like aftershock in silverwood.
It isn't. Aftershock is a Giant Inverted Boomerang, and is much larger with vertical towers and a vertical loop going over the station. Stinger is an Invertigo (AKA Inverted Boomerang), and the loop doesn't go over the station. It is also much smaller and has a different seating arrangement where the seats face each other.
Average Coaster Fan i'm just saying it has a striking resemblance to aftershock.
I went on a cart and not glide version of this at some random English theme park
R.I.P.
this is the same ride at kings island but instead its called invertigo
Colton Stephens True, they are the same ride model and their is nothing different about them at all (besides the name) however this is something really weird about the ride experiences. Invertigo at Kings Island is decently smooth.
But Stinger was the complete opposite, this ride was the equivalent of getting punched in the head by boxing gloves.
It’s weird how they are the same ride, but one is smoother and the other is violently rough.
R.I.P Stinger
2012-2017
I feel like ride manufacturers have prefabricated models available for theme parks for a lower rate than custom designed rides. I've seen this track pattern in other videos. Personally, not a fan of out and back rides.
Vekoma does this in particular, B&Ms can be quite custom, but are usually pretty similar, and Intamin has a bit of variety. So yeah, some do some don't. Also what's wrong with out and back coasters.. Lots of classic woodies and awesome hyper use that design
+AEguy Productions B&M doesn't make the same ride twice. but ur right, they're all familiar
+JustSimon similar*
+JustSimon Scream at SFMM and Bizarro at SFGAdv are mirrored clones of each other
Does anyone know the manufacturer?
Matheus Rodrigues vekoma ag
Thanks!
The ride was removed
Cool
The only nice thing I have to say about this coaster is at least it bashes both sides of your head equally.
Singer is gone How are you ridding it
🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
Video was made a few years before
its gone now :(
Isn't this ride in rct 2?
MindTesty yes THE revertigo
I would be able to do it frontwards, not backwards.
a literal duplicate of invertigo at kings island
I blacked out on this ride
You should make a top 10 coasters, or atleast tell us your favourite coaster
+CoasterDudesUnited You should search our channel for something like that! ;)
+Theme Park Review how do you do that, I can't use a computer I use my iPad for UA-cam, my computers internet really sucks so could you pleeeaase pretty please tell me? :D
+TheCoasterOfficial That would be impossible as TPR is more than one person and doing a top 10 favorite coasters for all TPR members would take days if not weeks.
+chdreturns I mean rob alvey
Inverted Boomerang coaster.
I much prefer the non inverted version
RIP
Meh you've always got invertigo at Kings Island
This ride is closed for ever now
Bella lucas now it is actually closed forever 😢😂😂😅
2016: This POV is uploaded to UA-cam
2017: The ride is not operating for some reason and has been closed forever, without us knowing while it closed.
vekoma boomerang?
+N Rampadarath:
Not quite, they are called Invertigo
+Tobias L. I actually mean: vekemi invertigo boomerang. thanks for message.
+N Rampadarath *vekoma
Rip
Been on this is acts like really slow nope. Hated it
I'd like this ride if it didn't hurt so damn much. But anyways, they removed this ride anyway.
Aww hell nah
10th
and first view
Doesn't just wasted their money😁😱 glad their removing RIP Verona boomerang.
They are closing this ride
