PS1/PS2: New genres
PS3: New IPs
PS4: Sequels
PS5: Remasters
Yes
Careful what you wish for....If Sony can keep milking an under powered console like PS4 for almost 11 years now, you can bet they are going to put something like PS5 relevant for 15 years at least i.e till 2035 !! So don't keep crying when the cross gen becomes compulsory even when PS6 arrives and all the new genres, IPs, and sequels become PS5 first and PS6 later 🤣
There were plenty of hd re-releases of ps2 games on ps3, new IPs and remasters of ps3 games on ps4. This comment makes zero sense if you think about the library on each console for more than a second
PS6: remaster of the remaster
Same as Hollywood, studios don't want to take risks anymore.
MotorStorm 1 and 2, and resistance 1-3 and Killzone 1-3 all should be brought forward and remade
I'd pay full price for these if they were remastered. Motorstorm on PS5 would be insane.
Even just good ports would make me jump in joy. Same with the Ratchet & Clank Future series and Into the Nexus, as well as inFamous. Something as simple as increasing the resolution and framerate and bringing it to new platforms would be insanely good for these games.
Or, better yet… just make a new game set in the same series. Killzone 4 and Resistance 4 should 100% be a thing, yet there has been 3000 remasters of games that don’t hit max settings on the latest consoles anyway!?
Sony should have never disbanded Evolution Studios 😔
Pac-Man!
I would love a remaster treatment with PC ports for the
-Jak and Daxter trilogy
-Resistance trilogy
-Killzone trilogy
-God of War full collection
-Uncharted trilogy
- Gravity Rush
It would also be interesting to see some new games with new approaches for old IPs that got abandoned like Twisted Metal, The Order 1886, a new Motor Storm in the framework of the Forza Horizon series, Sly Cooper and even InFamous that dont really vibe with, but many people liked at the time
Jak and Daxter is getting decompiled and ported to PC with the OpenGoal project. Jak 1 & 2 are already fully playable AFAIK, and Jak 3 is getting there (if it isn't already)
Not exactly remasters, but check it out if you're interested :)
That comparison with Rost at 1:08 is ridiculous. If I didn't know any better, I would've assumed that the "remastered" variant was on the left.
Hair color and eye color are totally different. Why the makeover? I don't mind it that much, but just... why?
Are you blind? Maybe need a new prescription??
@@Djaermi so that they can say there is difference.. thats all
I agree that it looks worse, but it's probably to make him look younger for the periods when Aloy is a baby. Previously, he basically looked the same age despite Aloy growing up and about 18 years passing.
I'm getting Arkham Asylum/City remaster vibes from this.
the hero lighting looks atrocious.
Looks like 360 days lighting, when AO wasn't a thing and light would leak everywhere.
The only thing from the 2000's that I wish back is complex physics, smart AI, environment destruction and planar reflection.
FINALLY I SEE SOMEONE MENTION THIs. It was so god damn bad, it destroyed the whole scene. SUN SHINING on Aloy in the base was just a damn joke. worst shit i have seen in a game so far.
I just wanted to flex that i paid like 7 Euros for the CE in like 2022 and still didn't finish it becouse the PC Port is insultingly bad.
Only if you are blind.
i like it
FR. Most games these days have worse physics than Halo 3.
Honestly want the Nathan drake collection to get an upgrade so they also release the first three games on pc. We have uncharted 4 and lost legacy but not 1-3 which is a bit silly.
I want to be able to play 1-3 on steam deck so much.

@@applehazeva2739 is there any likelihood it'll be playable on steam deck?
Looks more different than better. It’s arguably worse in some shots. Highly unnecessary remaster. Don’t fix something that isn’t broken.
Matching it to Forbidden West doesn't mean it was broken, just a little out of date.
it looks so much better yall are tripping
at least in most cut scenes and most definitely during open world gameplay
@@kjellbeatsyeh the nostalgia addicts are wild man. ZD has atrocious NPC cutscenes. Completely stiff and wooden. Facial animations are practically non-existent in ZD. This needed to be fixed.
But their investors need YOUR money to recover financially from Concord fail 😂😂😂
Whats Oli talking about, I've gone back to Horizon Zero Dawn several times. Love it!
Why do I like the look of the old version better?
Cause you are a classic man/woman person camera thing
cause you're looking at a couple of shots out of context and there's no way it would look worse considering Forbidden West exists and it's just supposed to bring it to that level.
The issue is Remaster looks better technically, but they for some reason made some artistic changes that made the game look worse in my opinion.
Nostalgia?
@RJ-vy4yd Exactly... the art direction changes especially character model changes... the better foliage and lighting is nice but something seems off
What a waste of a Dev team resources, time, and effort. There are so many PS2 / PS1 classics that could get remasters or remakes yet we get this.. The game already looked great. Pointless
Glad they did
Yeah, what a bunch of a-holes. Making things that aren’t specifically for you! Don’t they know that making things that other people want is just a selfish waste of resources?
Not a Sony title but I'd MUCH rather see a game like Mercenaries POD be remastered/remade.
I showed this to my wife who has no clue about gaming, but is a painter. She said that in all cases picture on the left is better and more detailed and better lightning when it comes to characters. Picture on the rght wins only in case of more vegetation/foliage. There you go.
Just look at the clothing textures and face shadowing, hair strands at 1:58...
Videogame fans:
"Just play the SNES title, it held up really nicely and there's not much you can do to improve the game"
Videogame publishers:
"If the skin shaders are 5 years old then it means we should delist the game from all platforms"
Rost looks much worse in the remaster. Like, damn.
looks plastic
All those freckles, wrinkles and subtle skin textures are just...gone. He looks like his face was dipped in wax and his hair and beard now look like a fake beard from a cheap Halloween costume. The environments and depth of field look nicer, but aside from subsurface scattering the characters all look much worse.
Bro looking like Gigachad meets Zangief meets Plasti Dip now
In the original game, Rost’s appearance remains mostly unchanged, but in the remastered version, it makes more sense for him to look younger. If you pay close attention to the trailer, you can see Rost aging over time. When Baby Aloy appears, he looks much younger, and as Kid Aloy, he looks slightly older. Adult Aloy is expected to appear significantly older, though they haven’t shown in the trailer yet. Additionally, the remastered version brings a noticeable improvement to the skin textures, making Rost’s skin look more alive and vibrant compared to the original, where it appeared pale and lifeless.
@@Ricardo29jblah blah
3:30 can we also talk about how Rost's beard is disaster in the remaster. Oof.
They should only be remastering games that are not playable on ps5 or games that are only currently playable in 30fps …
Guerilla commissioned this remaster 2 years ago. Its their IP they're allowed to do what they want with their creation.
@JayzVeez good lord, good job on ignoring every point and going right for maximum bootlick. No one said they weren't "allowed" lol, what a random thing to accuse people of. He merely said what they "should" do, and he isn't right. This is a worthless remaster, a complete waste of time, resources, and money from Sony, Guerrilla and Nixxes.
@@JayzVeez Sure they are, and we're within our right to say that it seems unnecessary. Zero dawn still looks great so that's why people aren't super excited for this remaster. They have other games in their catalog that could stand to be remastered (and bought to pc). I wouldn't pay the $60 for it personally. People are also understandably upset because this gen has been full of remasters and remakes rather than actual new IPs that we used to see in a console generation from the first party studios.
Maybe it's a matter of opinion, but in the original game, color grading looks more natural (and varied) and even more aligned with the art direction. Also, while some changes are welcome (better textures, models, etc.), there is literally no reason to make other changes, like changing the color of vegetation. It kind of feels like your brain is already used to good work, so you don't need any variations. But I will play it; it's good to have choices.
It seems to me that the remastering was done entirely by technical people with no input from artists
I fully agree. I really like the lighting and color tone/palette of the original. It had a more realistic feel, whereas the second game seems to lean more cartoony/hyperreal. So yes, improvements to facial animation, model quality, textures, water are all welcome. But some of the newer tech implementations seem to butcher the art direction, e.g. the depth of field and motion blur in the shot of Aloy looking over her shoulder seem to soften the image and blur texture details. Idk really get the need for this “remaster”. Like maybe if they had a TV show out or something like TLOU, but this game holds up very well for a 2017 game….
I put about 80 hours into the original game (on PC) and is one of my all-time favorites. I consider game preservation to NOT upgrade over my Steam copy, thank you very much.
.... when you said its a game you do once and never play again... Ive definitely played it all the way through at least 3 times 😅
I couldnt care less about the reimagined models and lighting.. sometimes wouldve preferred the OG... but having mocap cutscenes and dialogues is reason enough for me to grab...
Moreso than bloodborne (for my gaming tastes) is to bring Resistance trilogy.. or the ps2/ ps3 remasters to the current generation as a remake (non-movie tie-in)
1:03 Richard is correct ... this should be done with _Every_ game. I would have gladly paid £10 quid for a graphical upgrade (of this quality) for my favourite games back in the day.
I'm still waiting for graphical upgrades of ICO, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet & Clank ( a proper, full game upgrade) Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, Half-Life (1&2) Metroid Prime 2&3, Project Zero, Silent Hill (1&2) Return To Castle Wolfenstein, Prince Of Persia, Zelda = Ocarina Of Time, Wind Waker & Majora's Mask et al
Resident Evil 5 Remake?
half life 1 had black mesa?
Not exactly what he implied. Business wise it's an excellent strategy for the remaster but he goes on to say it is an unsustainable strategy given that it takes a lot of money and resources to do this. The controversy is that the PS4 version looks perfectly good and already runs extremely well on PS5. The backlash is that people want new games, not endless remasters.
@@EnginManap Black Mesa was fun, but it lost the charm of the original by making some of the areas (all?) far to big - they were designed a certain way back in 1998 and I don't think the updated version worked as well as the original .. in my opinion it would take the professionals at Valve to remake Half-Life 1 correctly --- just my opinion.
@@1895iStraight white male shooting black people in Africa, in 2024? It was controversial back then, it will be a PR disaster these days.
Its like TLOU. Yes some thing are better but putting greenery on everything just so they can say "hey look, its VERY different" even though putting green on everything looses some of the charm from the original
Tlou hasn’t had the nice orange lighting since the ps3 version. Even the ps4 remaster is disappointing, color wise
That depends if you're talking about tlou remastered or part 1
In the remastered, the environments look much greener and more vibrant, with less of the rusted or rocky tones. This brings the world closer to the original concept art, making it feel more realistic and alive.
@@ericbaker8781 "Nice orange lighting" isn't something I thought I'd ever hear from a person before.
Why can't Wipeout 2097/XL be remastered? Does the future seem too old?
i got the physical ps4 version day one, went on psn with the disc in the ps5, downloaded for play, the psn hud prompted me to buy the remaster @ $49.99. so it knows i have the game. yet they are not prompting the $10 version. so that sucks and rude.
secondly i am concerned about rerecording voices, particularly with Lance Reddick, did they replace him? will his audio sound bad compared to the rest? gonna stick with the old one. i think. so weird.
I wish they remaster Killzone 1-3 instead.
Does the PC remaster support DLSS and FSR frame generation simultaneously? I absolutely loved that combo since my 2080 Super doesn't support Nvidia's frame gen. It was a next-level gaming experience for my setup.
They removed all those birds though which is odd
Any news what the pricing is going to be on the pc version?
We need hero lighting on Digital Foundry lol
12:23 lots of snow, bird, & particle removal...
12:51 I very much feel the same. Though, if it gives me a new trophy list to achieve, I might just after a chunk of time. Though, by then it might already be getting a 3rd or 4th remaster, much like Last of Us.
Don't think I'd do a completionist type run like I did on PS4 for Horizon but it should be fun to run around the world again and see the changes.
Bummer about GoW:R; I own first on PS4 and never got around to playing it. Just picked it up on PC while discounted but in the middle of other games atm. The cycle repeats :P
Ive been noticing a theme here: when theu release a sequel the remaster seems to be announced shortly after happened woth tlou. Like i take it that they add like assets from the sequels so that it looks more seamless when you jump from the 1st game to the 2nd
Almost all the cut scenes in the first game were rendered live. I've made a lot of videos moving the camera in the cut scenes. I can only think of 3 that were pre rendered
Haven't played the first one, so this is an opportunity for me.
Me, too.
Opportunity to what? To play the old game with slightly better graphics at full price?
The story and lines are far worse, I regret playing the first honestly
@@JBrinx18that's fine,you don't need to like everything.
@@daniil3815 they can still buy a used version of the ps4 game for less than $25 and then upgrade for $10
Such a waste of money and resources imo.
This!
Delisting the original could be a problem for Steam Deck and older hardware if the remaster cannot be set to that level
They should pillage the library of non-recent titles like rachet and clank, jak and daxter, sly cooper, and resistance. Hell I’d throw some clams for just a straight RnC and JnD collection native to ps5.
I'd kill for a proper remake/remaster of all the Jak and Dexter games.
Will this remaster have the QOL changes that came with Forbidden West (e.g. the updated inventory management)?
Gyro aiming!
Probably not
I hope they didn't mess up the Sunsets and Sunrises, and the Mount Control as they did in Horizon Forbidden West.
(In Horizon Forbidden West, Sun /dis/appears above the horizon, and no longer illuminates the bottom of the clouds from below the horizon. And Mounts got a pivot point around their body center, ruining the galopping.)
As a PC handheld player, I'm always concerned by how these "upgrades" will affect performance. Witcher 3 used to run like a dream before the next-gen update.
Thankfully for Witcher 3 you can work around that by opening in DX11
This is a completely seperate product the only problematic thing really is the overlay and psn requirement that cause issues on linux
@@conitsha6793 I'll have to do that, thanks for the tip.
You're a handheld player; these remasters are optimized for desktop and living room experiences. It's not that their concern too much the remasters are more demanding on your handheld
@@lilkwarrior5561 They're still PC titles. Handheld or not, the game will run worse on some system configs.
It is possible that these PC "remasters" are primarily intended to implement the PlayStation sign-in requirement, while also generating additional revenue from individuals who have previously purchased the game.
What ?,no!, this is because of the Netflix show like they did for the last of us hbo, that is why the last of us part 1 got completely remade
I wonder if the glitch(es) will still work in order to acquire the Shield Weaver Armor early on.
The left side looks better and if that's the original, what on earth have you messed them up ?
yeah, remaster has really blurry textures, so I guess they have labeled the footage incorrect?
They not only blurred out the textures in the "remaster" but also made it even more cartoony. I guess Sony needs to make all that lost money back from Concord. And here I was thinking Phil Spencer was out of touch this gen
Remastered has motion blur and the OG doesn't so it's probably that? Everything looks a bit better and faces looks way better expect maybe Rost. Foliage is also way better in remastered
They fucked up the remaster's lighting big time. Even the the actual lighting render is higher quality the placement of the lighting makes the characters more artificial. I'm gonna stick with the original.
Don't be so critical of the 2 indian outsources making the remaster. It's their first IT job, they are trying their best.
Personally I love the "hero lighting". The rim light around the characters at all times gives it a unique aesthetic.
Why rost looks like benzema in the remastered version at 1:47
I wonder how graphics and performance will be on the pro
For 9.99 it's a steal, this game was also free to download for everyone in January 2021 if you downloaded it.
Agreed. I was one of the lucky owners who downloaded it at that time.
Oh yeah i completely forgot i have it in my ps account
its a steal ? its not its a cash grab for a game that never needed a remasted and its not 9.99 the game is 50 and if u already own it then u already have a better looking game

I'm a huge Horizon fan, but all i can see now is the terrible hero lighting. It was alright in Forbidden West, as they must have spent time making it look ok, but it looks like they've rushed the placement of the light angles for this remaster. It looks like a really bad mobile filter applied to their faces. I was excited when i heard about them adding mocap, but they've somehow made the overall presentation worse with the badly done hero lighting.
100%. Feels like Gears of War Ultimate Edition. Just terrible.
I assume that these remasters are quite efficient. Switching to a new engine version is way easier after a short amount of time and most assets are reused between sequels.
Not to forget: There is an upcoming netflix Horizon tv show. Best time to upgrade Zero down.
Wish we'd get an Infamous: Second Son PC port / remaster.
The Order: 1886 ... 4k/60 ... when ...
I’m not seeing uniformly better quality from the remaster in the side by side comparisons.
About 40% of the slowed down shots I prefer the original.
I’m sure the new one uses new technology and in that regard is more up-to-date.
But that doesn’t make it more visually appealing.
Wow, it does actually look better than I expected for a remaster. Quite the nice visual improvement
How about the awesome Resistance 1-3? That would deserve a remake/remaster
One of the few remakes i would care for are Motorstorm and Killzone
(Eight Days would be incredible)
Imagine the first motorstorm that is able to match the intensity of the e3 demo mud
Can you imagine a modern kz and how it would look? Wow. Also, I miss the weight of the shooting. I'd actually use a controller on pc just to feel that weight again
@SPG8989 would love a new Killzone. Tbh, i remember all criticism of killzone 2 gunplay that it was too slow, too weighty, lagging etc. All things that were actually design decisions.
They took it to heart and turned it into another generic twitch shooter in shadow fall because of it. If they bring killzone back, i don't think they'll keep the weighty feel anymore sadly
I've always said HZD could use some of the spark that HFW had & apart from visuals, i'm sure much of the gameplay will also be part of that. Glad to see that artists like to go back & touch up their work, which of course was already beautiful but they've learned A LOT from 2017-2022. As a fan I love it.
I wonder if that Cloud technology that implemented into The Burning Shores DLC will be added to the new remaster?
The delisting of the OG on pc worries me for the Deck and lower end hsrdware
1:00 this is why remasters all always iffy to me, seems like some elements look great and others look worse.
The building and the mountains look better in the original game
Is the 10 dollar upgrade for pc too?
Seems to be.
Yes but it seems only the Steam and Epic Games versions of the game will be eligible. The GOG version of Horizon Zero Dawn seems to have been left out
HI IS the PC version getting a remaster or at least a Patch for the PC version ????
It's also getting a remaster. It will be released at the same time as the ps5 version.
To me the part that made the whole PSN thing stand out was games not being sold in Countries without PSN (which caused Valve to have to refund a lot of pre-orders of Ghost of Tsushima) which clearly feels like it wasn't among the information disclosed by Sony to Valve while Sony does I believe sell their consoles on those countries regardless of PSN availability or lackthereof. That's to me the big elephant in the room. From the players side, I mean, it's not like EA or Ubisoft haven't been doing the same for a long time now and you don't see people making the same type of "noise" about it. The only difference is Sony's just starting to give a bit more attention to PC as an extra source of revenue so they're the latest to do what EA, Ubsoft, Battlenet whatever others have done for years, requiring more than just a Steam login. To me, if they want to take that stance, then they shouldn't be allowed to sell consoles in countries without PSN.
It's amazing that we're well past the time of different broadcast systems and "lines"(long gone are the NTSC and PAL days for the common folk), with things being almost entirely digital, yet we have geolocking just because.
Didn’t they doubled the price of the HZD just so they can have that 9.99 upgrade?, so I think this costs more than $10
I played through the first horizon game twice. I can't imagine doing a 3rd playthrough anytime soon. Remastering the motorstorm trilogy is a no brainer. I'd pay $60 or $70 for the trilogy in a single release day one
I'd be curious to know who owns the Motorstorm property in 2024.
@@TechRyze excellent question. Forgot the studio was gone... Wikipedia says Sony holds rights 🤷🏾♂️. I can also confirm tht motorstorm apocalypse is still available for purchase on the PS3 store.
I'm happy that I managed to get original game key for Steam. The more I look at remaster... More I see that original had it's own graphics approach that for me subjectively looks better. Well I'm not a huge fun of blur... So that might be just it
Remaster Folklore and Jak & Daxter. Also Heavenly Blade and Killzone 1.
Digital foundry is on fire since PS5 Pro reveal, hey look over here , that pixel
PSN login is important to Sony because that number is then projected to Investors when they present PSN numbers.
I don't like how green everything is.
I feel like we are being Punk'd... The original version clears the remaster in nearly every shot
& Why did they remove the birds?? 😭
I think they just took rendom things for the sake of changing it, so they can slap "remaster" sticker.
It changed allright.. for the worse.
I am fan of the game but no, its not needed. That game is not even old. Remaster should be for games that are at least 10 years old, and remakes for games that are 20 years old.
I just hope the hairs don't wave around when there is a camera cut (for whatever reason when there is a camera movement in HZD, it is treated as a movement of the world)
to me, there are three things that make this just about acceptable. a) the fact that it's only $10. b) the changes are pretty substantial, and c) they made HZD for PS4 free for everyone at the start of the pandemic
I was happy HZD got the free 4k/60fps patch for the Ps5 .
Good enough .
I really dont like the motion blur and lighting on the remaster. It may be technically more impressive but the original is still a good looking game.
Can probably turn off the blur and lighting works well in FW so I'm gonna trust them on that one.
The original looks amazing for the time, and by that I don't mean in the way that "it's bad now but kudos for all those years ago". No, I mean, it remains to be amazing, it's not suddenly "crap", because in the last 15-20 years or so we've already started getting to this point that you can get amazing looking real-time rendered visuals that will hold up for the ages. - BUT, in comparison, yea, it looks a little dry and flat, even if you can't exactly say it looks dated. I mean, in comparison it does, because of all that advancement in lighting-effects and such (or at least being able to render it on a console), so you can actually see where they couldn't quite go 7+ years ago. - And people forget that it's indeed roughly a decade old (don't forget development-time). - It's not only as old as when it was released, and just because people feel like the pandemic-years felt like it didn't count or take place, yea, 2020 was 4 years ago people... This game is aging. And again, well, but that doesn't mean it's as good as it could be. - I just don't understand the ignorance. Yea, it FEELS soon, but it's not really, and of course it's for money, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't do it or that it doesn't deserve it or anything. It's good that they do that now rather than in another 10 years and botch it or something. I said the same about "TLoU", because I wouldn't want it touched by some studio that's not the same people anymore in like 10-20 years from now.
If PS5 had more original exclusives I wouldn't have a problem with this. I don't like PlayStation Prioritizing remasters over creating new games.
It's a trend that a lot of things in the entertainment industry are creatively bankrupt.
@satnav1980 what and who are you doing about it apart from complain. What are your revolutionary skills.
I'm actually one of the folks who got the game for free when gorilla games made it free for a time on the playstation store during the pandemic. Haven't gotten around to finishing it yet but I'd gladly pay $10 for that upgrade.
Roughly 2 weeks ago, i bought it on steam for $12. When the sale rolled off, the base price rolled up
Bought it , can’t wait ..LETS GOOOOO
I can't wait to put my blazey hands on the Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster. The game didn't age well because Horizon Forbidden West was a so huge improvement even on PS4 that it ruined the visual perception of the Zero Dawn when I launch it after a Horizon Forbidden West session. Pre-order is set up.
OG characters look better. The remaster look plastic.
Bollocks. OG character models were terrible. You can see the polygons in them. Pining hard for nostalgia here.
@@JayzVeez Bollocks back. Polygons or not, they don't look fucking plastic and lit like shit. And nostalgia? You need more than 7 years for that. I think you're pining hard for the 10 bucks you spent on pointless.

it has a great story imo...but the rpg element and item managment is clunky and dated, wonder if they fix it also to be more like in the second game.
Honestly can't imagine playing FW before ZD. It's a continuation of the story so moments of major discovery and reveals in ZD would be spoiled.
@@Emulator_Crossingstory and lore of horizon is pretty great but the characters seem kinda bland.
the game has rpg dialogue in a game that isn't really an RPG so the cutscenes feel like a mess.
The plot didn't touch me in the first few hours, the characters were annoying, the main character looks a little stupid with her emotions, the combat system is monotonous and simple.
I think it's great optimized for the latest console hardware
Infamous and resistance need remasters. That's my 2 cents. I love horizon... But... There's so many other options that aren't already playable on current consoles and/or PC.
Honestly the environment looks better but the characters looks weird ? Rost wtf ?
I'm surprised Playstation has not Remastered GTA 6 yet.
It seems like they added a lot of glowy lighting where it doesnt need to be that takes depth away.
Can't wait for next years Stellar Blade remaster!
Maybe forcing PC users to sign up to PSN is affecting sales ?
Love it! All the upgrades look amazing. Love the hero lighting 😍😍
Lol you love nonsensical bullshit?
Change birds for plants = remasterd. Got it👍
The characters look like they put them through a camera AI filter, the kind that smooths out your face. Looks strange.
Yeah, that lighting they used for the image(s) on the right just makes Aloy and Rost's faces look 'flat' there's none of the lovely shadowing; it doesn't look right--and the PSN Account requirement is a major turn-off.
Does the remaster even look better though? Its definitely different i guess. Will it run worse while being a side grade in terms of actual appeal?
The PS5. Best console ever made. Best controller to play ever made. Incredible gameplay experience. Nothing but remakes and remasters for four years. The anticipation for this was so titanic that it should have been the biggest machine ever made. I don't think Sony realise just how little people are going to care about the PS6 because of the lack of games.
I am in the middle of my first playthrough.
I was never impressed with the visuals (perhaps impressive even for its time). It wasn't bad by any stretch, but it absolutely needed an overhaul to take advantage of my RTX4090 and S95D QD-OLED TV.
Some will disagree for different reasons, but i truly believe that Horizon Forbidden West is considerably better looking.
So, im anticipating the update and putting it to the side. For now, i am playing FFXV with 4k and Reshade for the first time since playing on the PS4 - holy moly, it actually looks quite good 😮
Lol love the Terminator quote
Horizon looks incredible on my Steam Deck.
I'm sorry but only a few minutes in and one would think the labels were switched on the footage, the original looks way better, poor Rost...
Automatic NO for me. On Steam it states this update requires a PSN account! It states this in the PC features part for the update
Why did they make her eyebrows so dark? People don't have that color eyebrows and that color hair together with both being natural. The PS4 version is much more believable.
