Pourquoi ai-je la vague impression que je vais recevoir ce livre en cadeau de Noël. Probablement parce que l'une de mes serres est encore fonctionnelle le 12 novembre!

I'm looking forward to the English version of your book. Your first book was a great source of inspiration for me and was even able to learn from one of your earlier interns. Keep up all the great things you are doing.

Bonjour Jean-Martin.

This video has an important environmental message about food production - outside of Quebec too - as many think during these months we must only rely on imported produce, but as you said "its nothing new". I enjoy hearing the science of how some veggies improve flavor under colder conditions.
I will share this info with friends that "eating local doesn't have to stop in the winter". Can't wait to read your book (in English) and, yes, we are enjoying these videos, thank you for your time in making them.
Careful waving that knife around! 😝

Winter is my busiest/highest earning season. Sunchokes, yacon, beets, carrots, and greenhouse kale are good money here.

For minimally heated greenhouse growing, I’ve had amazing success extracting heat from the earth by burying drainage pipe without holes and blowing air through it and back into the greenhouse. The fans are powered by a solar array so I’m counting that as “sustainable”.

I find more similarities between your winters and our summers. You what to keep the cold of and the light on, we try to keep the heat of, but the light on.

I’m going into my first year of winter farming with things like salad mix, lettuce, celery, and beets in Japan, and not a lot of people do it here. There’s only like three crops at the farm stands all winter. I’d really like to be able to take your mini course next year if I can afford it, thanks for making one available. I have two non heated greenhouses and the winters are a bit unpredictable so I’m kind of nervous. I’ve had things like chard, all brassicas, and parsley survive winters in low tunnels with fleece netting. But that’s about all I know about it. They were set and forget. I didn’t actively try to grow until this year.

Fantastic video. Congratulations on the new book. Liking your videos?? Yeah, I've been waiting for regular videos from you for more than 5 years 😉 and they're very well done. Thanks for the videos. Just imagine if YT had been around during Eliot Coleman's prime how great that would've been. In a very similar way we're appreciative of you sharing your videos.

We need this book in America now, more than ever! We are losing our sovereignty here at a very rapid pace, just a bit slower curve than Canada, at least until 2021 when everything took a turn for the worse - let's go Brandon!

Please share where you get the convection tubing and furnace and or model/type. I have asked several greenhouse suppliers and what they come with is plastic convection tubing that hangs up in the air.

Handling raw food and touching your nose, beard, mouth, ears etc. ever 2 seconds is gross to watch.
