    For drinks, since tractors are such a "smooth ride" I use a boat bottle holder. It pivots on a swivel and does not spill your drink.

    The cup holder/phone holder is good in concept, BUT as someone who has already had a phone “jump” out of a cup holder and get run over by his flail mower I can tell you I never would put MY phone in something like that which allows such bouncing around! That tool box holder would be a nice ROPS addition for my 3E series since the “toolbox” from JD is a joke - that is where my phone gets stored along with a pair of gloves. Also - high praises for those Thunder wheels; they are great.

    Loving the fade to colour.
    Some good looking accessories.
    For the squarer tube mirror mounting brackets, I would have to agree. Stop making a left and right bracket and make just a single one.

    Like the idea ! -- also liked "foglebr" idea of top 2" top receiver. A person could use a vehicle receiver hitch platform / shelf as an overhead work platform, either in lower or higher hitch mount (weld a few pipe stubs at corner of plateform / shelf to make pipe railing mounts). Useful in field work.

    I used a two of the big round magnets to mount a small light bar on the roll bar. It sometimes falls off. For your idea you'll need some VERY strong magnets, but it'd be better to find a way to bolt on

      I did the same thing with the lights and magnets on the role bar. Works great untill I catch a tree limb. But if I do knick them off it doesn't break anything. Good thing that way.

    Like the mirror bracket. Would be very helpful to have a lead on the appropriate sized magnet to use (otherwise finding the right magnet might be a time suck while the bracket sits in its box on a shelf - somewhere…).

    Thanks for the new product review, I tried to find tractor cupholders a year ago and the only one I could find was inferior to that design. Maybe consider another hole on your bracket up near the first curve , to hang something on in the future, I would probably like the bracket for more than just the mirror. I hope you saw the S and B shifter comment on the mini video 👍

    If you mount the mirror with a magnet like you had it the mirror angle will change every time you move the loader. Needs to be on the stationary part.

    Interesting products! You gave me some good ideas to build some mods for the M5660. I've been wanting to put mirrors on it but Kubota loaders aren't full of holes like the JD's are so options are limited.

  • @Noah_E
    @Noah_E Рік тому +1

    I don't see how a single 5/16" hole is the loader is going to make a difference as long as you touch up the paint so it doesn't rust. A lot of the guys buying those little tractors are older/not in the best shape so a taller grab bar would be a welcomed addition. My 80 y/o father uses the steering wheel for leverage getting in his NH Boomer 40, which can't be good for it. I have limited use of my right side, but have no problem using the fender bar and FEL mount of my YT347 currently, but am sure I'll need/want something like that before too long. Over 24 years of compensating for the right's deficiencies is taking its toll on my left side.

    I wouldn't mount the mirrors on the loader arms..they will always move when you move the loader. I do like the mirror extenders , especially the height difference, but would like to see the bigger mirrors you sell able to attach to them instead of those smaller mirrors. I've tried the smaller mirrors and much prefer the big ones. I'd like to see the chain saw holder in person and try to determine where it would go or if it would interfere with anything specifically on my machine. But overall good stuff..Keep it coming.

    I can't think a mirror mounted on a loader arm that will be going up and down would be particularly useful. But if you put a 90° twist on it, it could be attached to the loader bracket (just above where you have the sawhaul) on most any brand tractor

  • @JCWren
    @JCWren Рік тому +2

    I'm not convinced that magnetically mounting the mirrors that way is going to work well. Even with a larger magnet, you've got a lot of leverage with the length of the bracket, and I think it's going to be a little too easy to knock them loose if you're operating in close quarters. Something to be aware of with strong magnetic mounts is they can cause paint damage and rust rings over time, particularly if the mount get moved. If you keep everything clean it's not an issue, it's just something to be aware of.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  Рік тому

      Perhaps knocking them loose is better than staying in position and bending or breaking?

    • @bruceanderson9461
      @bruceanderson9461 Рік тому

      @@GoodWorksTractors yes and no If I was concerned about them being bent or broken then a springed release upon pressure would be the way to go. Like car mirrors today.

    • @JCWren
      @JCWren Рік тому

      @@GoodWorksTractorsThat would depend on how frequently it happens. Breaking loose on immovable objects is good, but every small branch would be annoying. And then you'd probably want a tether so they don't fall under the wheel and get run over.

    • @bruceanderson9461
      @bruceanderson9461 Рік тому

      @@GoodWorksTractors I wish I did. I have been so disappointed by magnets for mounting things over the years that I just don’t see it being substantial enough for this application. I am pretty good with tools so drilling and tapping are easy for me. However, I too like to use preexisting holes and bolts to attach items. Just don’t think magnets will keep the mirrors on. If you really want to give magnets a try I would use two or three of them to add more stability.
