#TeamSwartz.... Thank You so much for dozens & dozens of videos on Army NG joining & bootcamp. My nephew attended "Split Option" as junior HS Basic Training, not MOS qualified yet... He's ready to go to college with GI Bill & GI kicker in the Fall. #ArmyStrong 💪😊
I don’t know if you remember the question I had asked about the thyroid I have but doctor can put me off of it if I need to. But I got a message from my recruiter saying it was a first him recruiting somebody on thyroid and had his higher up review my packet. Everything was fine but she had concern about my thyroid so just as you said I have to be off the medication for one year and have stable blood work. But they are looking to see if I can get the weaver and get me enlisted so hopefully 🤞 I can get into the guard.
@@maulinpatel8636 That sounds like a possible Huperthyroidism requirement but for hypothyroidism it’s this: HYPOTHYROIDISM You need current lab results (or within 6mo) for TSH, T3, and T4 to submit to MEPS. If your levels are w/in the acceptable range, you’ll be good to go! Good luck!
@@maulinpatel8636 I’m not sure what specifically MEPS is looking for but as long as you have the results from the last 6mo, submit them to MEPS and see what the CMO says.

I'm in the process of getting a moral waiver for the army. How long does it take? I'm in California and looking to join Army reserves. I was told the since I pled to a lesser charge that the original charges still stick. Is that true?
@@MrRoyBlue22 it’s still factored in the decision making process but depending on the charges, they may wanna see the arrest report, court minutes and the final disposition. Good luck on your waiver and may the waiver gods forever be in your favor! Thank you for watching and stay blessed! 🇺🇸🙏🏼
Is there any chance of getting in with type 2. Controlled with only diet. I took it for a few months when first diagnosed but have not taken any in over a year and my doctor said I did not need any medication
You cannot join if you’re currently diagnosed with diabetes. If you can proves through testing you’re no longer diabetic for 2-3yrs… then I’d say you can apply for a medical waiver. We get people denied for being diagnosed for “pre-diabetes.” Sorry my friend… 😞 Thank you for watching and stay blessed! 🇺🇸🙏🏼
Hey Lewis I had a follow-up question about housing for active duty. You answered my question about unmarried soldiers having to live on base, but are there exceptions for rank? I will be 30 when I enlist if things go according to plan. If someone my age with a bachelors degree wants to apply for OCS, will I still have to live on base if I become an officer and am not married? Thanks again 👍🏻👍🏻
Officer will always have on post housing or off post - which ever they decide! They’ll get BAH if they choose off post. If on post, BAH just won’t hit their bank account. Go directly to the housing authority on post. E5, still in barracks unless the barracks are too full with junior soldier then they get an ETP to live off post (but that’s just case by case). They usually get barracks. Once they’re e6 that’s when they can live off post. If they’re single they’re off post, if family on post (unless they choose off post and get the BAH.) Regardless of age, single e5 and below are in barracks . 🙏🏽
Q: Greetings. As a FEMALE African-American, is it possible for me to go through basic training with a clean shaven head and stay with very short hair through out my military career?
Buzz cut yes… cannot razor shave your head until you’re completely finished with all your initial entry training.Thank you for watching and stay blessed! 🇺🇸🙏🏼

Question, is a moral waiver process faster as we get closer to the end of fiscal year?
@@noepineda6632 I think so. Because they are trying to meet goal/numbers. So, yes.
