This one is in my local store as of this week (but not part of SAS) smells divine! I took a picture of the jar to remind me to keep checking for a future sale.
So glad I took the plunge and bought Palo santo & sage and Palo santo & Vanilla Both are lovely This one is more spa day the other a great bedroom reading candle 🕯️ Love both but totally understand how the Vanilla one is sold out everywhere almost
When Palo Santo came out online only, I got it and smelled it and brought it to the store to exchange, it was way too strong for me. I think one of the managers bought it. But Palo Santo with Sage is soooo much better!
I am new to B&BW candles even though I have purchased body care items for years. I noticed that often they have the same candle scent in two different packages, one labelled "White Barn" and the other one labelled Bath and Body Works. Why? Is there a difference(s)? If so, what is it? I am not entirely trustful of B&BW because I purchased four Tis the Season candles from them this year only to discover that the candles were between four and six years old already. The one I opened and burnt had no scent. Once cooled down after burning, the candle actually rattled around in the jar. Turn the jar over, and the candle fell out. The wax was so old and dry. I could not believe they would sell candles that old. However, I have had that same experience with their body cremes before, so I guess I am not too surprised about the candles.
Wow I don’t know how they sold old candles - I think they change the packaging every year 🤷🏻♀️ There is no difference between White Barn and regular BBW. I think White Barn dates back to a period in which they were just starting to do home fragrance and the thought was to have select stores with that component and set it off from the store as its own subdivision (like Pink is attached to Victoria’s Secret). But then when fragrance became a big aspect of their general business and was in every store, that strategy went away. They still keep the White Barn branding on some candles, I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s just traditional at this point or an aesthetic thing. In terms of strength/throw, BBW varies like any company, but the vast majority of their candles are in the 6-8 range. That said, the last two months have been rough, with many of their current candles coming in significantly below that. Since this is atypical, I expect it to be corrected soon.
I'm looking forward to this one next Summer. Love the foaming hand soap.

Omg so great - and a little off-brand for BBW. It is rugged and authentic

I agree that Palo Santo & Sage is better!
