- I wanted a timelapse rig that I could operate and monitor remotely, so I made this! It's got a 4g dongle and raspberry pi for remote access.
Here's the tutorial by Alexander Baran-Harper which I followed to install the gphoto2 library and create the python script:

ok cool , but how to control the camera remotely ? like to take pictures remotely …the camera is a birdhide 100km from me , yes there is internet too
Hey Chris! So sorry but I'm only just seeing this now. There are other parameters you can control using the gphoto library but I haven't dug into this side of things yet - I haven't actually had any jobs with this rig since making the video so no reason to try and make it better. Hope that helps!
