@@Silver_Sonic_23 Plus the triggers aren't analog so it is much harder to ice jump, I have the game on Xbox but I have a Switch so I know what the triggers are like
I made it in zero jumps but instead of doing it the correct way like Starblaster64 did I used glitch with two buckets (or cheries in subcon forest) to fly up to that mafia dude and got to the end again with buckets. I regret doing this because it took me ages to place buckets so I could fly on them. The trick with the racoon is much more easier.
Very late to comment, but try using the No Bonk Badge. I struggled trying to do this but the No Bonk Badge let me climb the walls after doing the Ice Cap trick
Just keep shuffling around until you find a spot that lets you land on the edge of the flower box. I've seen other people have success further left, then walk back to the right for the wall climb, like ChillerDuu: ua-cam.com/video/DcueZ74Nch0/v-deo.html
Aiming as in like a target, or a general goal? I was aiming for the area of the ledge right next to the wall of the platform, since that's the closest point I can jump to. This took at least 60+ attempts to record after I figured out how to do it initially. If you don't get the max height/distance (or close to it) from the Ice-Hat hop, it's basically impossible to reach that ledge, as far as I tested anyway.
I can barely make it happen. I can get higher and farther hitting the exact, if not closer, spot to do it, but Hat Kid does not ledge grab at all. I can make it happen at seemingly random but very few times. I tried angle when touching the ledge, her vertical position when touching the ledge, inputting and holding another A before touching the ledge, cancelling dash later or earlier. Various small adjustments to understand the behavior of this ledge when I should seemingly just latch onto it. I thought there was something very specific at play here.
I'm not entirely sure myself, it was a very inconsistent jump. Wish I could help more, but I really just kind of kept throwing myself at it until I got a ledge grab.
I ask all these questions, then I just aim for the fence on the platform and it's eons easier to pull off. Don't know why it took me that long to figure that one out. The ledge is still an anomaly to me, but I figured it out.
