1. motor is stock, 207k miles k&n filter is the only thing ive touched on it, exhaust is factory headers to the first 2 little cats and is true dual 2.25in pipe back to the 5in tips 2. since this was published in october 3.yeah, between the 35s on stock gears and the lack of low end torque with the straights its slower off the line but does pretty good offroad and at cruising speeds 4. not yet

Had a budy run open headers for like 5 months on a 2000 f150 and he got plenty of speeding tickets but nothing for sound. But we are in Florida so id check your local and state laws first
Okay right now I’m running hollowed front cats-removed rear cats-true duals, 2 1/4” all the way through to straight pipe. I’m dumped just past the cab and my truck does not have the cackle yours did. Any tips or tricks you used to get the cackling sound? I just have no idea why my 4.6 doesn’t sound like yours. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
Elliott Dean I did not. Kept the stock gears and it was a little slower off the line but I babied it and didn’t have any issues with it. Check out my new channel, Grappaholics, I have a lot of helpful videos for lifts and tire sizes

Gonna remove rear f’d up cats and put a resonator in place along with 02 foulers on rear bank sensors. Has 1 pipe from stock Y going into Flowmaster muffler and 2 out. Gonna put resonator in so I don’t get the popping noise. Anyone done this or have any input??

when you took your cat's off what did you do with your co2 sensors? Because i have a 07 ford f-150 v6 4.2 5 speed and i would like to just have straight headers and I've read online that without the sensor your engine will run improperly.
I have a 2016 6.2v8 ford f150 with a true dual straight pipe exhaust with super 10 6 inch tips y pipe a program air intake and a super charger I got about 650 on the dyno going put a 1 leveling kit and that's it. I also got a denial 2500 2016 but it's quite only ha 8 air suspicion lift it's basically stock though.

it would be a bigger number but a lower ratio i thought but idk a lot about it since i never changed them. it was a little slower to accelerate but not too bad

+Dylan Dubose most places will not do this setup because it is pretty illegal obviously. I did see a decrease in throttle response, but I loved the sound too much to care
+Chance Pugh yes it does sound bad ass! I wish I had a cool muffler shop like that nearby to be able to do that for me. I got the 4.6 triton in mine also flowmaster super 44 SI/DO it sounds pretty deep and aggressive but I bet if I removed my rear cats it'll sound even more aggressive
+Chance Pugh they make something called check engine light deletes.. they screw into where your o2 sensor go and the sensor screws into the the CEL delete.. it brings your o2 sensor out of the exhaust.. that will remove the CEL. amazon has them for 10 bucks
I have an 02 F150 and they told me they couldn't run true duals because of the fuel tank. I suppose I really could if I wanted to route pipe around it. How were you able to achieve your true duals?
You got to run both pipes down the passenger side and exit out both sides when you get to the end they don't run down both sides from the manifolds back they supposed to run the across each other and back on the passenger side till it splits over the rear end and comes out both sides that's how it's supposed to be ran not by the gas tank
+Dylan Dubose when I went to get my straight pipes done I had the rear two cut out and the new exhaust starts from the remaining two cats. We cut holes in the new pipe and welded in bungs for the o2 sensors to screw into. I didn't notice any significant effect on the mpg

Austin Hill im sure your setup sounds good like it is but i would say if you plan on changing the muffler id get too little glasspacks like the ones i had because they dont do much for noise but they get rid of some of the high pitched poppy tone

Hey I was wondering what kind of aftermarket rims did you have installed with the mud grapplers?
they are not aftermarket necessarily. they came off of a slightly newer f150. they are the factory 17s that came on trucks with the fx4 package

as of right now it does have a check engine light but i dont think that its a guaranteed light for everyone. i heard most people dont get a light
