      @@loss6199 It was better in my opinion.
      The combat, stealth mechanics, enemy AI, and bases are completely different experience. Not to mention, no stupid auto-heal, but raw injury system, adaptive cover system, be able to use mud and vegetation for stealth, option to move bodies, and immersive settings. You can adjust Breakpoint as much as you want to your preference. I am playing it like an hardcore, milsim, tactical shooter with my own roleplay ideas. The enemy AI is flanking the player, using grenades, reloading their weapons, etc - the combat feels more raw and dynamic. I guess most of people, who are saying how BR is bad, are playing with HUD on and not pushing the game elements further with their own ideas.
      WL had maybe daily routine for NPCs, but the AI always knew the player location, if he got spotted and there was autoheal, which is just immersion breaking. The AI also sees the player through vegetation and on extreme, they are using perfect aimbot, which is just frustrating. I don´t see any reason why i should play WL again.

    • @tracker7059
      @tracker7059 Рік тому +20

      @@jackcravford8744 Breakpoint has a much stronger gameplay backbone, but the setting and factions (well, maybe except the Bodarks and Wolves) are awful, and Auroa, while not exactly ugly, is still subpar when compared to Bolivia. If Breakpoint's mechanics weren't bumrushed, changed up by execs who think they know better, and if they did get a better writing team... Well, suffice to say it had the potential to be the better sequel. I'd have played the shit out of an open world Future Soldier-esque Ghost Recon game.

    • @jackcravford8744
      @jackcravford8744 Рік тому

      @@tracker7059 Sentinels are much more fun, than Unidad, cartel, Bodarks or Wolves. I prefer AI that works like a team and are reloading their weapons, than bullet sponge Bodarks with nonsense armor, in which one mag from AS riffle is not enough. Not to mention, Cheaters (not Seekers) who are literally abusing the invincible nonsense. Sentinels feels like humanized and experienced team, with great combat skills, flanking the player and organized with commander. I also prefer the Auroa over Bolivia honestly.
      I like the retro-futuristic settings, unique bases and awesome interiors for great CQB combat. I don´t play Ghost Recon for the story, so for me this is irrelevant.

      @@jackcravford8744 Absolutely love the Bodark faction and ALL they bring to the table. Stealth Cloaks and armor, it make you feel like you are at a disadvantage and being hunted like the game was marketed as. But I love the game for what it is. If I want a truly hardcore milsim experience I will jump to Arma 3 for that.

It's clear Ubisoft put some effort and love into this game's development and it shows. Being bilingual/speaking both Spanish and English, I was especially pleasantly surprised to hear that not only do they have what appears to be ACTUAL Bolivian voice actors to voice the civilians/rebels, they also have ACTUAL Mexican voice actors voicing the cartel members and bosses. They even have Mexican SLANG and lingo down when it comes to cartel members when they're talking to one another.

If I had to guess, they mustve had a team work on each province separately but use the same npc or AI models and vehicles to be able to have each one have a life or carry things. Then, when they are finished detailing their province, they add it into the final game. Some of these small details are easy to spot, are actually really cool an *can* be useful, but players tend not to need them.

    This just proves that this game had a potential to be a banger with its absolutely stunningly beautiful open world and, but didnt have enough time in the oven. Great video, i didnt even knew about stuff like NPC daily routine and helicopters cleaning by water

    Thanks for this video, this helps the community especially the No HUD one, and the people interested in immersion and enjoying this game as a top quality simulation, which especially with 3 things, the FPP mod, the no sound of detection alert and a good team of hardcore realism members, makes the story a blast to be played. Unfortunately as of today few still know what they are missing...

    I would absolutely LOVE a Wildlands sequel where the enemy bodies don't disappear after killing them. I didn't enjoy Breakpoint as it lacked the cultural aspects of Wildlands with the civilians and varied terrains.

    Props to the devs and to the other teams for doing not only online research but actually visiting Bolivia and other places.
    Then BP came along and have a dead world with not much anything in it. Yes, yes.. I know it's the better game now but still won't beat Wildlands when portraying a living world.

    I wonder if all this happens simultaneously in that game or it happens based on where the AI detects your game play. Like you think you are "spying" on someone who gets up, eat, goes to work and etc...the game AI is really reacting to your gameplay

    This is a completely different gaming experience, when you are so curious about all the details and what you don’t know yet, any game that has such an attitude will drag the player for a long time, and this is exactly the experience that all players should get, and not sit down and Mindlessly beat the game in RUN mode

  • @jep1st

    Wildlands is truly a piece of art in many ways. I don't get why so many people hate it.
    Sure it has lots of repetition in its mission design but what big open world game doesn't? Only thing I really dislike is the micro transactions. I don't buy those myself because I don't support that system. It's fine in f2p games but not in ones you pay full price to begin with.
    I really enjoyed playing it and I have plans to replay it at some point.
    These were some really cool details, many of which I didn't even notice. Really makes you appreciate the work the devs put into it.
