  • In this one I went over how I did all the moving pieces in this render. I've focused almost entirely on stills on this channel and I think it's time to start shifting things towards animated pieces. Let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like to see in regards to animated renders.
    Also - I learned a lot of these techniques from Corza and Ian Hubert - Check out both of their UA-cam / Instagram pages for more stuff like this.
    P.S.
    For help with creating still environments (which could also be animated), check out my environments course:

    Hi Max. Your tutorials are amazing and so easy to understand those who are new to blender. I have learned so much from your channel and blender course. I hope you will make an animation course, starting from basics for people who don't have any idea in animating in blender. viewers please like this comment if you have same opinion.

    Great video - thanks for doing this!
    It's really good to see a beginner friendly tutorial on simple, 'mechanical' animation, rather than character animation, which is far more complex, and not beginner friendly. Everyone in blender seems to assume that everyone else wants to do character animation, which is not necessarily the case. Besides, simple mechanical animations are a much better place to start, to start learning the skills needed.
    I really appreciate that you showed us how to use the graph editor, rather than just the timeline and keyframes. It seems like a surprisingly powerful way of working with animated objects.
    I would definitely like to see you do more stuff on animation, particularly a mechanical type linkage, something that is actually mechanically viable. The landing gear of a small spaceship is what I'm thinking of.
    And please, could you do something on your sound design?

    Awesome vid! Would love to see a video covering different environmental types. Mountains, desert dunes, that sort of thing.

      Ducky 3D does a lot of that kind of thing - abstract animations that would be ideal for edm.

    Hi there! I really love your work , and I think your sound design works really well with the short, can you explain or recommend some tutorial video about that

    • @richardconway6425
      @richardconway6425 9 місяців тому

      Yes definitely!! I was hoping that he would at least mention his sound design. Like, where did he get the sounds from? And did he use blenders native video editor?

    Hey max. great stuff. you can mirror the keyframes with CTRL+M/X or CTRL+M/Y or whatever axis. Exactly the same as gemetry mirror

    great video as always. i was thinking if you used a transormation constraint it would make the mechanical work easier by using 1 objecct to control all the other animations.

    How do u get your videos so flicker free ? I mean i guess u use denoising ? But my videos turn up real flickering

    • @richardconway6425
      @richardconway6425 9 місяців тому

      Animation requires the use of temporal denoising.

      @@richardconway6425 ye cant ever get that to work Well still have artifacts flicker

    • @maxhayart
      @maxhayart  9 місяців тому +4

      I’ve never tried temporal denoising. One easy trick is just to use surfaces that have really high roughness values and that will greatly reduce flickering
