I got the BIGGEST zero bomb at the dog park one day. In Porter Ranch, in L.A., we had a bear walk into our Ralph's grocery store and walk the aisles, you can see it on youtube. At the dog park we were talking about it, and it's a rich neighborhood and I'm not their exact income demographic, and one of the people in the circle asked, "What kind of bear was it?" With O&A timing I said, "It was a black bear." The circle turned around and asked, "How do you know?" I said, "Because it paid with EBT." It got NOTHING... silence.
Back when jay was on, dirty jokes werent really an issue as long as you didnt cuss. Watch some old leno episodes. People had a sense of humor back then.. lol

You only think it sucks cuz he was so good on the show as a natural comic. This stuff is rehearsed so he has the “reading it off paper” voice but if you listen to his stand up with an open mind it’s funny. I had the exact same opinion as you when I first started listening to his stand up.
