Truly 80's to 90's era is an era of legends. In music, sports anything. This is the era wherein the most unforgettable moments exists, King of Pop rise in this era and MJ of basketball. It's nostalgic.
Add to that Hulk Hogan, Andre, Macho Man,, the Warrior, Bret Hart, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Tiger Woods, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Michael Schumacher, the 3 MJs - Jordan, Magic and Michael Jackson.
I count myself lucky to have been alive (born 83) at the time to witness his greatness. Michael was a legend who inspired others to write their own legendary stories. Forever the GOAT, Michael “Air” Jordan.
watched this live up to 6 am in Italy trying not to shout out at the end and jumping on the couch with some improbable and unrepeatable mouvement Always been a football and Juventus fan, but the sensations Jordan used to give are unmatched there will never be another one
Same here. I was growing up in Lithuania and watched that game at like 3 in the morning. Will never forget how nervous I was. It felt like I was rooting for my national BB team or something.
Amazing. Best, solo takeover in any game within nba history. Greatness vs greatness. Mind vs mind. Thank u MJ, PiP, malone & stock. This was magestic match. Pure greatness
watching the bulls during those years was amazing, he gave me a hero, gave a new way to think, and influenced my basketball abilities in tremendous ways but i wish i could have played against him. you were everything to so many people including me and i lived, ate and breathed MJ. Scottie Pippen you were also a tremendous star and remain so till this day. Too bad we get old but i still love basketball and i still love to attack the rim and play hard at age 46. you are the GOAT and that is an undeniable fact. we love you guys and will always love you MJ and Pippen.
@MUFC if you like soccer good for you Chief, but soccer would never take over here cause people over wanna watch games with a lot of points, we don't want to watch a game that average 1 to 2 points a game and 2 that sport still carry heavy racism. Now Grant we'll tune into soccer when it comes to the Olympics but outside of that we're not tryin to get into soccer but there are people who are into soccer but not to the point it's going to take over here in the U.S
@@aimwrld3970 That was during the regular season. What Jordan did was in a do-or-die situation where if he loses this game, he will lose in Game 7 without a healthy Pip and a raucous Utah crowd. This is Jordan at age 35 coming off back-to-back title wins and on the verge of winning his 6th title. Jordan's moment will always be bigger.
If you didn't know who Michael Jordan was never watch a basketball game ever in your life and you just watch the last minute of this game .. you would then walk away thinking I just watch the greatest basketball player I've ever seen in my lifetime or any lifetime💯🐐
Watched this game live when I was 12 years old. Was such a huge Jordan fan growing up and I remember that Bob Costas line vividly and I will never forget him saying that could have been Jordan's last shot in the NBA.
There will never be another NBA era like we have seen from Larry bird's start to Michael Jordan's finish !!!! They made my heart soar so many records so much respect long live all the greats !!!!!
MJs "The Last Shot" is arguably one of the most iconic sports photos of all - time. If you watch the play after the inbound near the end of the game it is almost like a storybook ending for an MJ fan - Michael Jordan is the only Bull to touch the ball after that Bulls inbound pass. Quick layup, stripped Malone, crossed Russell. Jumpshot. 6th.
This game showed how tough players at that time. Pippen with really bad back, harper still felt the flu symptoms and he is very weak, eisly suffering from vertigo. This game is one of best memories I had growing up despite not having a good childhood. Thanks for uploading.
People don't realize that he made almost half of the scoring of the game 35 out of 90 points is insane not like now where people make 40 but the game ends 150 to 160 so its all about numbers..
Man I miss watching Mike play, I loved this bulls team with Scottie and Dennis as well. Michael is the GOAT anybody who says otherwise is kidding themselves.
I still remember that last clutch shot mj made.. I was too young that time. And alot of basketball fans knows what great player is all about. . Its all about carrying ur team when it matters most. With all ur confidence and never dissapoint them. .
Offensive foul.. this play set the precedent for future stars of the league to push off defenders, carry the ball, and take whole vacations "traveling" through the lane 😳
Jordan. Tyson. Tiger. I hold these 3 above everyone in my 35 years of being a sports fan. Showstoppers. It was over before it started. Legends writing history in real time and everyone knew it. I'm sure it was like this for Ali, Ruth, and some others.
If Mike Breen, Mark Jackson and Jeff Vangundi were commentating this game Mike Breen: The Bulls have the ball with 17 seconds left. Jordan hads the ball, now makes his move. Clock at 10..... Jordan puts it up. pUTS IT IN!!!!!! Michael Jordan gives the Bulls a 1 point lead with 5.2 remaining!! Timeout is called by Utah!!!! Mark Jackson: What a shot by Jordan. Tells the crowd to shut up and sit down. Brian Russel, lets have this dance. Mama there goes that man! Vangundi: Well executed play by the Bulls Jordan with the push to free himself and knocks down a wide-open shot! Jazz should have fouled in this situation. *NBA on ABC music plays*
Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippins thank you for an amazing game along with the rest of the Bulls. Thank you, NBA for sharing with us. M.J. always plays a great game, we're happy that you're the MVP. I'm sure Kobe is looking down at you the Chicago Bulls, you guy was great. Thank you so very much.

There was legitimate fear when Mike stepped on the court, every single night. The streets were deserted by 5pm PST when Mike played on TNT. Guys were leaving work early to go watch Mike score over 40 points on any given night. The reverence was at biblically epic levels. Tears were she's both when Mike retired the first time and finally after his last bucket as a Chicago Bulls player; the crossover on Bryon Russell, and who would forget Elo throwing up his arms in aghast frustration and futility, justifiably so, when Mike nailed the final bucket, winning his 6th and final championship. "if this is the last we see of Jordan, how sweet it is.“ -Bob Costas
LOL just the opposite actually. They finally had their time...remember, they couldn't break through in 1992, 1994 and 1996 in the West Finals and had blown a lot of chances up until 1997. The fact that the league had gotten slower and much more iso heavy played to their advantage since they had a tried and true offense and a lot of smart, durable vets.
@Bean Bean Exactly Malone was a beast down on the block & Stockton was just an unbelievable passer and guard I mean Jordan was just so damn good nobody could stop him 🤦🏾♂️
I have to skip class and look for the nearest free TV viewing inside the mall, I can still remember the thrill, excitement and shouts after the Last Shot!!! Thanks MJ and Bulls
Jordan with the 3 play combo to win it all. Pippen was hurt but still showed heart. Both teams play great defense but Jordan was the factor. I still remember the feeling 25 years later
This Jazz team beat the Spurs(4-1) and Lakers(4-0) this year, both teams won the next two championships. Guaranteed 7 or 8 rings if Bulls management just kept them together.
Guaranteed 7 rings. The team would never survive 2 more years. They were only up for a year more, not 2. And they would not be able to Beat early 2000 Kobe and Shaq
Strong Jordan and Bulls fan here, but I don't agree Even in 1998 Bulls team was really at the limit....... Michael was slightly descending every year, not count Rodman for next year either, and Pippen too had overtaken his peak. I don't know if Bulls would have survived a game 7 (and we know how they avoided it) and they already risked even more in ECF....with Indiana leading in Chicago up to the 4th quarter of game 7 Other teams were born and it's not given that because you have beat one team one year you'll beat another team 1 or 2 years later
Man that 5 point swing on the 2 shot clock violations were big. Jordan came up huge in the final 2 minutes. Great job by Pip too toughing it out with his injuries.
The 35 seconds after Stockton's 3 is the greatest sequence of events by one player in NBA history. MJ gets the ball, beats Russell and gets the layup. Then steals the ball from Malone, calmly dribbles it down, and hits the 20 footer on Russell to win his 6th title. No other Bulls player touched the ball. He literally went Thanos and said, "I'll do it myself". IN THE FINALS. He's the GOAT y'all. Stop it.
When I see these videos i am asking my self how can be some people ,a few, that can doubt ,even today that Michael Jordan isnt just GOAT but all the NBA its self!greatest player of all time ,of all sports, not only in America but in the total world
That last sequence was the greatest demonstration of offense and defense in a clutch situation EVER...nothing comes close. Just an iconic game by jordan because his teammates had nothing. Jordan carried them this game.
his legs all the moves in his legs is a masterpiece. all the movement's in 1 second. his hands. the little jump. his hands dolls. the last finger touches the ball. his eyes watching the ball.... in 1 second
Back then it was Man's Game and defense ruled the game. Every shot made were through the ways that the players did were high quality shot selection and basketball moves with little to no wasted movement.
My idol, my personal GOAT and the man that has inspired me to play this sport, what he was capable to do was at a inhumane level, nobody will ever be capable of playing like he did for him now i watch all the games i can from the Bulls that is the level of greatness of His Airness

MJ, god of basketball. MJ and the Bulls is the team of the ages!
Ralph Joseph Antonio actually the next 4... The Spurs won and then the Lakers won the next three
Strong Jordan and Bulls fan here, but I don't agree
Even in 1998 Bulls team was really at the limit....... Michael was slightly descending every year, not count Rodman for next year either, and Pippen too had overtaken his peak.
I don't know if Bulls would have survived a game 7 (and we know how they avoided it) and they already risked even more in ECF....with Indiana leading in Chicago up to the 4th quarter of game 7
Other teams were born and it's not given that because you have beat one team one year you'll beat another team 1 or 2 years later
