The Pokemon X And Y Experience in 2023

Pokemon X and Y are some of my Favorite games of all time. But For some reason Gamefreak is acting like these Games never existed. There was no Pokemon Z and Mega Evolutions were completely thrown to the way side for reasons I cannot explain.
Really upsetting ain't it?
Even more upsetting is the Fact that these Games Came out 10 YEARS ago. Which is completely insane to think about.
How do these games hold up? Are Pokemon X and Y actually hidden gems or should they be rightfully forgotten?
