I landed in LV once at night from Atlanta. It was so close to the runway when the engines started to scream and we went for another circle around LV. That was so cool like in the movie. I enjoy summer visits to LV. The heat feels like in baking oven and everyone is waiting for the sun to go down. Beer taste so good in dry heat. Hoover dam is only 20 min drive. Grand Canyon is about four hours drive and Death Valley two hours. Bellagio has a nice fountain show at night. Viva la vida.
This reminds me of that Mel Gibson movie where the alien is pushing his hand under the door and they use a kitchen knife to cut the ends of his fingers off.
Vegas landings at night provide some absolutely breathtaking views.
