Oh my dearest regal Ladies of artisan temperament. There is in both of you a very delicate majesty in the way you produce the most beautiful videos…on top of the artistry you bring to your jewelry. I say this not because I want to schmooze you. There is something very connected in your artistry to your history. I cannot enjoy your trips and traipses across the beautiful country any more than I do. It seems to get my imagination going. Your pieces of jewelry seem scored under a castle or bastion of elegant craftsmanship. History seeps in your pores and we get little saga journeys to a very medieval place and time!!! Thank you so much for filming so well. We are all very much like time-travelers.
Absolutely love this channel! Thank you for giving us the availability to watch you create these beautiful things! And your history is terrific! And your choice of music! Perfect!
Greetings from Canada! Saint Margaret is my 27th great grandmother as well! That would make us (very) distant cousins! I loved the atmospheric music in this video, and always try to watch on Sundays with my best friend.
Gail, this is truly a one in a million piece of jewelry and anyone would be blessed to own and wear this gorgeous piece of art! You girls have so much talent! Thank you so much for sharing not only the making of this necklace but the history put into the creation of it! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤
Dear lovely Lady Gail. Royal ancestors! I knew it because in my mind you have always been a princess. Right from the second I first laid my eyes on you in 2019.

THANKS AND STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY THANKS TO YOUR 27TH AND 28TH GRANDMOTHERS FOR THIS EPISODE.❤️🙏❤️🙏💯
Beautiful! I am almost entirely Scottish, but I’ve never been there. I really enjoy hearing about Scottish history. It’s cool that you can trace your history back to St. Margaret.
This necklace is an absolutely stunning work of art. The two of you seem so wise and kind. It must be in the genes. Lol. I am still so grateful the two of you chose to start this channel. It is awesome. Thank you.
Everything about this video is wonderful! I am in awe of your jewelry making skills, your eye for detail, the composition of the video, the music selection, your storytelling skills, everything. And this time you wove in your very own personal history. Fabulous.
Whenever I look in your Etsy shop, there's never anything left! Are you not stocking just now or are things selling out so fast? I'd love to buy something you've made....it's all so gorgeously made.
Stunning just stunning well done Ladies ! just goes to show how talented you ladies really are in not just making the item but having the thought in creating it in the first place!
Dear Tracie Oliver 👍👌👏 Of course I totally agree. But please don't forget the wonderful story/history telling part in this video. And even before all this, the Ladies showed us their talent and love for mudlarking respectively beachcombing. In this episode Gail H. did even kind of stroke the beach/gravel/sand! 😁 ;-) Best regards, luck and health.
It must have taken you forever to make that chain, so beautifully made. The pendant wow, you do have a wonderful talent. Love history behind the cross too, you learn something every day. Love from Wiltshire 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Gail your talent for design and ingenuity creates masterpieces of art jewelry and Alex lovely neration telling about St Margaret was so soothing to listen to I devour your videos with delight. Thank you so much.
Gail, your talents never cease to amaze me. This was a beautiful piece of creative silver work . The little red piece of red glass smoothed to a lovely circle shape, was a perfect addition. A beautiful story too. Though it was a sad ending. Thanks to both Gail and Alex for another very interesting post x
Love the haunting Celtic music and the history behind queen's ferry and the necklace is amazing. So much hard work went into making it. It's beautiful. Thank you
I like your work desk, Gail and Alex, and all the useful equipment with which you craft your beautiful creations! The cross and chain fit together perfectly, in all ways….strength and beauty, just like you and Alex and your awesome ancestor, who inspired the piece in today’s video.👏🤩
That St. Margaret's cross and chain are stunning. You have a wonderful talent Gail.. Thank you for sharing your work and how it is made with all of us. The history makes the jewelry even more relevant and the music soothes the soul Thank you both.
Hi lovely ladies. This video is simply brilliant from the workmanship, to the story, to the music. Alex has a wonderfully soothing voice. And Gail your workmanship is superb. Thank you from your American viewer for such a great way to share some time with you.
St Margaret of Scotland is one of my favorite Saints: your cross is a beautiful tribute to her. Thanks for another lovely video! Its exciting to know you are her direct descendants.
That is a beautiful bit of work. I've often felt that your work is 'British' in the best way, so maybe it is a natural consequence of your lineage, the 'life being in the blood' etc. You spoil us with these videos and thank you for that.
I knew you ladies were regal but didn't realize that you both are proper princesses! They say everyone is descended from somebody important if one can look far enough back. My family dabbled a bit in genealogy hoping to discover prominent connections. Now we're just thankful to our ancestors for having children before getting hanged or shot. I am excited about your new makers channel and happily subscribed. I think the videos of either of you making something- be it a piece of jewelry or a garden- are my favorites. Please do a Schwoo channel next!
She’s my 28th Great-grandmother! I have a number of Saints in my family tree, a number that I am directly descended from, including Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, I was thrilled to discover. As a child I had read a book on her life and became fascinated with her, particularly the “miracle of the roses”. She used to give food from the royal kitchens but her husband forbade her. She would sneak bread out hidden in her cloak. One day, after leaving the castle with her maid, carrying bread in her cloak, her husband stopped her and demanded to see what she had. Reluctantly, she opened her cloak. However, instead of bread falling out, hundreds of roses tumbled out. How could a story like that not be amazing? I’m not Catholic but I always considered her my “patron saint”! forty years later when I was doing my family history, I found that she was my 29th Freat-grandfather. Of course, if you go back far enough, we are all related at some point… Still, a but of a thrill!
Awesome video, I love nerding out on history!!!! I recently discovered a material you guys could have a lot of fun with, metal clay!!! You can get it in precious and non precious metals and all you need is a kiln!!!
So beautiful! I love the history and the music that you incorporate into your videos, I learn a lot. That is especially nice because my Grandfather was a Scotsman. You do make beautiful jewelry Gail.
Such interesting historical information about your family tree and to make this cross in memory of Her is Beautifully touching….Blessings evidently this kindness was passed down though out your family

Ladies this without doubt is the most beautiful film . Alex your voice together with the music is hauntingly entrancing. Gail your skills are mesmerising. I learned so much about her. My mind ancestry is Hungarian, to think you are you decended from her is almost mind blowing. How I would love to see your family tree. The enchanting way you have captured history the location and ancient designs and skills...Wonderful thank you both so much for calming me in troubled and sad times...Vizi Estikie is my Hungarian name (surname first) I believe my family maybe decended from Hungarian Royalty. Thank you for the escapism calmness and touching music...
Lovely video. I made jewelry in Art class in high school over forty years ago. Watching you with the silver brought back many fond memories. The music was so soothing along with the presentation. Thanks for sharing. Hugs from Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
The cross is absolutely stunning! I envy you knowing your family history so far back, it must give you a real feeling of belonging. Brilliant video Ladies 😀💗 x
Thank you! It comes through my grandmothers Scottish ancestry. We descend from the Stuarts of Traquair who luckily have a very comprehensive family tree! xx
I was in my early 20's when myself & my family found out we were directly related to a woman who is well known in the U.S. She was captured by the Indians & after a horrible existance living as a slave, she escaped & made her way home . Most of her family were wiped out (the children)in the Indian raid , save her husband . When she returned she reunited with her husband & had several more children . We learned of our relation to her thru an Ivy league university who traced her family line . She was my grandmother 6 generations back... It was a book I had read many times growing up & never dreamed she was my grandmother ...
Hey There, Gail and Alex. It is an incredible experience watching you both, when you're in that creative zone. For us to see your imaginings and artistic minds bringing into fruition one lovely piece of art after another, is simply icing on the cake. You Inspire! ( :
