Love this ladies! Here in Canada back in the fur trade times our First Nations ladies would use discarded pipe stems from the Europeans and make beads with them too! You are carrying on a fine tradition. I too, like my ancestors look at things and see the wonderful possibilities!
17.18 min Lady Gail said about the gorgeous flower bead: " Pretty like me!" 👍👌👏 Yes, yes, yes! I couldn't agree more! 💚
Forever yours.
Christian
Those are just lovely! I got all excited when you started filing the bones thinking you were going to make an articulated skeleton, like when you made the copper nail dancing man. Maybe next time?
The Duncan’s come from Scotland. You have a unique gift from God to take the past and turn it into the present. You work so skillfully with your hands. My Daddy did too. He worked in marble and granite to make grave stones. He could make anything, just like you. I craft in a different way. But my work is more primitive and antique. We have traced our ancestors to Scotland and know the village from where they came. That is why I continuously ask for finds from Scotland to be made by you to purchase and acquire bragging rights across the pond for you to my family. My father is in Heaven now so that is why I would like treasures you find in Scotland to share with my family. Keep up the good work. I am watching from Somerset, Kentucky, Pulaski County, USA.
Being a musician, I so appreciate your choices of music! It matches the beauty of your work. 🎶❤️🔥🎵
ARTISTS! THATS WHAT TOU TWO ARE! GORGEOUS BEADS!
Everything about this video was perfect, filming, editing, music and of course content. I am so going to love this channel. Thank you Gail and Alex💞
Amazing what you two lovely ladies can do with beautiful pieces of old glass and broken pipe stems. The beads are GORGEOUS Ty for sharing ❤️
You ladies are so talented! Love these making videos and my little Grandaughters are over the moon! They love to watch the regular Mudlarking videos but if they know it's one where you are making something at the end after a few minutes of watching you find treasures they want to skip to the end and see what you made! 💕
Love this so much…thank you ladies, for sharing your amazing talent once again!
I love the beads. You two are very creative. I especially like the bowl with the birds on it.
Beautiful! And I love how the howling wind added to the ambiance ❤️
These beads are so much fun! Glad you have a new channel for making stuff!
I love them so beautiful!! Well done Ladies💜👍
So clever you two, multi talented...the bee's look like fish 🐠.... can't wait for the next video! 💛💛💛
Such beautiful music to perfectly match the creation of things new, from things old. I found the entire process of watching this video, to be Soothing. Thankyou Gail & Alex.❣️❣️
Very beautiful. Love the imagination and skill of your work.
The bone, skeleton, and skull theme is so appropriate for a product that held tobacco that killed so many people from cancer and related ailments.
Its lovely to watch you both being so creative. Good memories you make together!
Absolutely loved watching this, totally mesmerising xx
I love the sound your windows make! A wonderful addition to the sweet and soothing music of your videos.🥰
I always love to see what you ladies create!!! Such wonderful uses for something most people would just see as rubbish....and than you two get your hands on it and make it beautiful!!!
When you love what you're doing, it shines through in your craftsmanship!
Awe! They're so very cute! The "bees" do look like fish skeletons. 🙂
Since I can neither make beads nor paint, I love living vicariously through your talents. Thank you, ladies.
I love Scotland! You two bring it alive for me. i visited in 2019 and will never be the same 🙂. Thank you for sharing yourselves with the world, ladies. Sending much love and gratitude from Southern California. 💜💜❤❤💜💜❤❤🌴🌴🌴
Love the new channel. This was why I first started watching your channel, I love watching you two create something new from things discarded. You are both wonderful at crafting.
I remember reading that Alex collected bones... These beads are amazing! Glazing and firing just brings out the colours and detail 😁
Such a clever idea with the pipe stems. They looked amazing with the intricate details on them. Thank you
This was so nice to watch! I’m so impressed by the intricate details on all of the little beads!
Thank you, Gail and Alex! Wonderful video, the beads are really beautiful. Video is excellent as always.
Interesting how unique each pipe stem can be fashioned. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
Absolutely adorable! They all turned out beautifully. Such crafty talent. 💙
You both did some fantastic work on these beads. The are so beautiful and they really portray what each of your passions are. I can’t wait to see what you two do next. I’m loving your new craft channel. Anything that gives us more time watching and learning from you ladies is a great thing.
I cannot believe how beautiful all of them came out…wow!…brava, Ladies! Stunning designs and I love the colors…heathery toned beads! You are such interesting artists to watch…thank you for sharing your craft…the last video with your friends was gorgeous…the dew-diamonds spider webs…the bottles…so much fun…AND THAT THAT TINY BEAD…and the dolls head!
The Blue Willow inspired beads are beautiful! But I LOVE the little bones! If I lived somewhere where I could find old clay pipe stems I would make so many bones!!!! 😂 I love them all. Well done ladies!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Well done, ladies! They are beautiful beads, I love them all! You're so talented!!!
Your beads turned out so beautiful!
So fun - I'd love to see you make more beads and jewelry with the beads. The howling windows are spooky! Eek!
How much did i enjoy this Gail and Alex. Can you see how wide my arms are spread...no, well believe me they are as far apart as can be.
Pipe stems make fabulous bones and pretty beads. Using names and imprints and painting them in, keeps the history of the pieces intact too.
What a perfect project. I wondered if at first you'd use the pipe bowl half as a scull. Which you could hang the bones and beads from. To make a little window charm...wind chime.
A lovely project for anyone to achieve. Just painting and varnishing, for those that don't possess a kiln.
One of these days, id love to invest in a kiln. Added to a list with a multitude of other things i would love to try. 😂
A dedicated crafter usually has a very long list of, 'I wish i had'. 🤔 😉 I'm sure you both know that already. You have a wish list too. 😂 x
I cannot even fathom the work and time that went into these.
The pipe maker's are smiling, just think: they made these pipes and they were discarded, and then HUNDREDS of years later they were found and then turned into the most beautiful and useful things. Today it's "reduce, reuse, recycle ♻️" and you both have done this to the nth degree.
I'm proud to subscribe to this channel, you're so inspiring to me. Thank you.
these are all so awesome and original! you should put them on leather cording and put on your Etsy!
The pup and I were mesmerized watching this and the music and beads were perfect.
I've been watching your videos for the longest time since you first started and I just love your channel. Thank you for showing us how you make your little treasures. 🎨🖌️🤩
My goodness this is tedious work! I am amazed at how you painted those beautiful tiny bottles, flowers, pipe bowl’s on those stems. You two are both so artistic 😊💜👍🥰
Such amazing intricate work you do, beautiful historical pieces.
Toujours un véritable moment de détente🔬🎬💪🌹🙏
They are all just so amazing! I love the crackel too. You two are so talented.
More... More... More... they all turned out beautifully. Alex, can you turn your skeleton into a cabochon? Would make a funky ring.
A pleasure as always ladies ❤
I love the art pieces you made
stunning inspired creativity! love it!
I enjoy your glass beads, now your pipe stems. So colorful, makes me smile when I see them.
They are beautiful and you have given me an idea to finish a project. Thank you for sharing your finds and your ideas.
oh ladies, beautiful work, it's so inspiring
🙋♀️💕 I love the painted beads to string! They are wonderful and beautiful!
They turned out amazing! I love them all! I think the skeleton looks very neat all cracked up. And I adore the little mushroom! Well done!
Oh those are precious beads! ❤️
W😍W WOW WOW! such tedious and rewarding work. So talented ladies and all with reporpes! Thank you for your amazing videos and hard work. ❤️
Oh my goodness you both are so talented! Love the designs! Since the skeleton broke and can’t be used as a bead, put a magnet on the back and hang it up!
The workmanship is exquisite especially the two birds on the pipe. Gayle you are an incredible artist I would imagine you could paint the most beautiful miniature portraits too. A beautifully filmed video it was awe-inspiring.
I so enjoy your videos. The crafting and the magical music is wonderful. So talented. Can't wait to see what you do next. All the beads are beautiful, can't pick a favorite. A bit fond of the tiny pipe bead.
Oh. My. Goodness! If those long-gone pipe makers and users could only see this! Oh. Wow! I loved watching this! Totally fascinating, inventive, creative, beautiful and FUN! You are both amazing women! I'd just love to hang out with you both!!
I would apply acrylic to those you feel may continue to break. You could even fill in the one with the missing piece with a matched color acrylic resin. And the bees could be given wings and then resined. Just an idea. These are the most charming little creations I’ve seen in forever!! You do know that you are in a caliber all alone in your findings and art, right? Beautiful Ladies. ✌🏻🤍
Beautiful! The possibilities are endless! You will be looking at pipe stems very differently!
Please 🙏 sell your wonderful works of art ... Those that can't, need LOL.
TFS love to see you bring your creations to life
This is awesome! From broken fragments that were trash to beautiful beads ready to be used again, wonderful creativity!
Hope those beautiful beads are going in your etsy shop.
The swallow one is interesting. With the colour it is now a homage to a homage, embellishment and not erosion. Those skully sort of things would be good for Goth summer wear. I always associate that kind of stuff with red, black and silver which I would call 'winter' colours, but they look vibrant here. Another one looks like a large electrical resistor. They all look alright.
I can't wait for the magic to begin 😊
Lovely. The glaze crazed because of "fit". Dont be surprised if you look at them in a few weeks and the crazing is even more pronounced!
Bones are ridiculously cute 🥰 beautiful job ladies.
They are all very sweet. What a lot of creative work you put into them!👏🤩
Wonderful beads! My favorites are the mushroom beads! Thanks.
Love them all especially the bones and the skeleton, love the crackle . Proper skilful craft as per usual x
Oh and the wingless bees lol
Thank you xx
haha! xx
Thank you for being so inspirational 🌹🌹
Absolutely stunning work!! I would love to be a lucky customer to your Etsy shop if you decide to open back up!! I adore all your work the eccentric style is perfect ❤
Absolutely wonderful!!! Do you think this clay ever thought it would go from pipe to one-of-a-kind Jewelry? I wish I had pipe stems to play with like this! I'm lucky to have a steady hand and fondness for miniatures, so I could do things like this. I can see why you find this so satisfying!!!! Thank you.
All the beads turned out just so playful. The coloring in the carving is perfect. You could sell them in sets, so the person that buys them can make a little bracelet or maybe even a necklace.
I love the Willow pattern on that pipe bowl and age (the numbers) on the bead. Very intricate/delicate brush work. Fine workmanship, ladies! 🥰
05:48 🤣🤣 I thought that was Gail whistling under her breath as she worked! I'm glad you set me straight. 😜🥰
The beads are wonderful. What a clever repurposing into something beautiful.
My goodness girls l absolutely loved this video. I'm so glad youve created this channel, as I've always loved watching you create wonderful things. The beads are delightful. Such a talented team. Thank you for all your work in producing your videos lol Alioban xx
I’m probably the only person watching this who finds clay pipes stultifying boring… but seeing these beads has kindled a desire to find some and make my own beads. I also love the ‘clacky’ sound they make
I also dont really get the interest in clay pipes but am sort of afraid to admit it…
The best is these little man at the end. No 😀all looks sooo realy pretty 👏and my favorite is the mushroom bead🍄
Incredible detail work. Beautiful beads. 😍
What absolutely beautiful beads! You are both so talented!
You two ladies are happiest and newest find. I love being on every adventure with you. I collect sea glass n broken chine for jewelry and art work but you guys take it to a whole new level. You are such talented artists. You find so many amazing things that we never would here in America. I can’t wait to see what’s next. Thank you for sharing with us.

Such painstaking work in these one of a kind art beads! Amazing and fantastic. 💕from Michigan, USA
These are fantastic! You ladies are true artists. 🌻🥰🐕🇺🇸
My old brain is telling me I've seen you do this before, or something similar. Maybe I'm remembering the pipe bowl gnome houses and mushrooms... 😝 Anyway, this was wonderful to watch. Superb creativity. I can't wait to see if any of these turn up in your Etsy shop. 😁 See you next time. 😍❤👋
These turned out fantastic!! I can't believe how tiny you were able to make all the lovely details! Loved hearing the wind howling through the windows, and that little man you made at the end with all of the beads!! Too cute!
What a brilliant video so relaxing to watch you working and the end results are amazing. Hope to see many more so thank you for allowing me to join you xx
