The chump might’ve came from the custom Hydra because the scene before it didn’t have a special, but then you could see more paint in the next scene would make sense to have bubbler just like swiffer since they’re both cleaning themed weapons
If they are hinting to another season, sure there could be third kids, but what other second kids could there be besides the new weapons here when there need to be more seasons to give the new weapons their third kits then
That jelly it has the deep cut logo off the hook logo and squid sisters logo and a fourth one I cannot make out

I think it's a final fest teaser as well I think they might go all out and have it happen on in a dessert like a music festival. A kin to cochella or someting to have all the idols perform and be seen. I think I'd be cool if they rotate who's performing on one stage to keep this lobby small.
It'd be awesome and a way to see all the idols and their music without having to pay for the dlc.
I'm not sure if they'd do that for the whole thing, but maybe for the second day with the projections/ screens of their performances on this "Coachella" stage so the current plazas/ lobby don't feel that empty on the 2nd day with the idols gone. Or it may just keep the players there for the 2nd day all together.
They would call it the Conchella or something lol, or the LWP the low water party, which is an in universe music festival that occurred in the end of octo expansion.

So at the end of the trailer you can see a kraken from a green team, the same team that threw a splat bomb, and specifically octopus kraken, and the CRB user was an octoling.
Nintendo mighta cooked with this one.
Someone on green team also had a splat bomb... The reference kit may be real.

I think it's actually bamboo with Kraken. CRB seems to get chumps. This is based on the overhead footage. You can see a kraken harassing the crab tank in upper mid. Something also shoots out a bunch of chumps in the same area.

One thing I really like about the Mint Deactivator is that it’s literally a sword in a sheath. You take the sword out of the sheath. That is something we’ve never seen before and i’m here for it. Not only that, but the design being based after a toothbrush is god-tier creativity, I never would’ve expected they’d use it yet it works so well

i genuinely think Nintendo put off making the new stringer to the final season just for the "full circle" imagery of revealing the new stringer in the first stage we saw tri-stringer (Scorch Gorge), last trailer reflecting the first
The new stage looks very promising. We rarely see Splatoon stages that spawn players right next to each other, outside of Shifty Stations from 2.
I just realized: Every Final Stage has this type of Stage: Saltspray Rig, the One in 2 (not Shifty Stations), and now Lemuria Hub. I think thats a new Pattern.

I think you're right, at *0:31* in the lower left side there looks to be 2 new blocks, maybe you can use to get up onto the other teams side without using the grates? Big if true.
alas, it's the same as always. the 'block' on the left is just part of the cover that's on the high ground (it's just perspective that makes it look lower down). the block on the right is and always has been there, and it's not high enough to get up onto the enemy side

After spending like 30 minutes looking at that one match slowed down to the best of my ability, I was actually able to figure out all the specials each weapon uses.
For green team:
Custom range blaster - kraken
Bamboozler - super chump
Hydra - splattercolor screen (sorry hydra mains)
New splatana - big bubbler (was used at the very top of the map, got broken by kraken)
For magenta:
Heavy edit - crab tank
Douser dualies - triple ink strike
Recycle brella - triple splashdown
New stringer - ultra stamp
Honestly kinda shocked they showed that, but it was fun trying to sus out each one

Ok Custom Range Blaster has Kraken cause we know that there is a Kraken octoling in the green team, there is 2 octoling in this team (Blaster and Hydra) and we know that Hydra has Screen so Blaster has Kraken

i like my bows long, with an inward curve... the new Stringer is as long as a Reeflux, and has an outward curve.
i don't care how good it is, i'm not using it. i'll stick to the Inkline Tri-Stringer.
i'm really excited for the new stringer. tristringer feels a bit undercooked with its AOEs (weird coverage, super slow charge, very hard to land makes the chip damage kinda bad) as payment for the charger-like range, but the new wellstring looks like it will actually be fun for trapping.
@@jacktheomnithere2127 it's sad that I may do the same, even though the inkline tri-stringer is just slightly better than the vanilla kit because sprinkler has just a bit more use than toxic mist.
And it only took them 2 years.

They did a side order part at the end of the fresh season trailer, and I feel like I’ve seen a train going off to a new dlc a good few times before! And lemuria hub, lemur train station hub?!
I noticed the octoling on team green that threw the splat bomb at 1:12 was using the "pony" hairstyle (you can see it at the top of the screen) and earlier, the octoling that had the "pony" hairstyle was also the one wielding the custom range blaster, so CRB has splat bombs.

Unironically, I was so surprised to see the Mint Decavitator, I've been maining the Splatana Wiper since Day 1 of Splatoon 3, and seeing this new Splatana may become my new secondary weapon with that far charge step and wide horozontal slash at the end! It mostly depends on how the stats are, the trailer makes it seem similar to the Stamper, but I'm still hoping it's at least a good middle ground between the Wiper and the Stamper stat-wise

Idk if anybody has talked about it yet but it seems like the decavitator doesnt have a projectile for its charged slash. Instead it just has a larger aoe for the hit itself

It could be a concert, but I noticed the jellyfish has a fan for deep cut, a pin for the squid sisters, and a sticker for off the hook, but there is a 2nd pin with an unknown symbol on it. So I'm curious as to what that's for.
When I first saw the mint deactivator, I was like " the first and only Splatana we get and they look Goofy and ugly like that come on man" but then I saw that the whole weapon was actually just a sheath and I immediately believed that they were cooking again

Idk why but Since the new Splatana and bow are there We might not GET second kits For the new bow + Splatana So It might Content extension or just a new season in general
From what I see, the stringer is one that can shoot five bombs if you let it charge up enough but you could already tell that, the new wiper which looks like it is only horizontal but I think it has a further dash, and thankfully the new map isn't a hallway.

I hope they do re-runs of Big Run. As someone late to the party, I was only able to experience the Eeltail Alley run (Side Order is what prompted me to finally buy the game). I'm trying to grind bronze scales for the Octoleet set and the x2 multiplier for Big Runs would help a lot.

Nintendo finally remembered that they added two new weapon classes in this game and that they need more weapons in these classes, and both weapons look pretty cool.

Weather or not I get into ether the wellspring or the decavitator heavily depends on the kit.
If wellspring gets Squid Beakon (c liter players will know why) and Tenta missiles, then that will be my excuse to become an anchor (I can’t use chargers at all)
If the decavitator gets splat bomb (my favourite sub weapon in the game) and inkjet (which could synergise overpoweringly well with that long charge/lunge attack because you can use it to dodge the attack of anyone trying to punish your recal) then I will find a new main weapon. (Fingers crossed both happen)
The jelly at the end was wearing all three idol merch so maybe it’s a goodbye to splatoon 3? Not sure

If you look closely the weapons the Inklings/Octolings use during the match, you can see ALL of the weapon that didn't have a second variation of it.
Dig the tunes, it's like INK-182
if you really slow it down, you can see that the range blaster used kraken in the time lapse. GO CRB!
Anyone else notice that Inkstrike and Kraken from the above view? So far, I've noticed Screen, Chumps, Bubbler, Inkstrike, Kraken, Triple Splashdown, and Trizooka possibly.

FINALLY LETS GO
For specials on green side I saw big bubbler , screen , Super chumps and Kraken. So Hydra, Range, Bamboo and mint decavitator have any of these specials.
Pink side I saw Ultra Stamp(During The Top Over view Part that was really fast), ink strike(same part as ultra stamp) ,triple splash down and crab tank. So Heavy edit, dousers, recycled brella and wellstring v have any of these specials
Looks like Custom Hydra is getting screen. For the Chump, my guess is Bamboo. I also saw a green big bubbler on the far right side, so that’s either going to CRB or the new Decav Splatana. I doubt the bubbler is going to bamboo, because I don’t see how a bamboo player would deploy a big bubbler in such a low spot.

I know I shouldn't get my hopes up but I'm so hyped for a new stringer type with exploding shots. Reflux just never felt as enjoyable as stringer to me due to it's lack of explosions so I can't wait for a possible second option to play for my personal fav weapon class.
This stage is another Saltspray Rig/Skipper Pavilion type stage. Interesting choice.

Map looks really good. The 2 new weapons seem kinda similar to other weapons. Splatana but with a little more dash. Stringer but with 5, kinda makes me think it will feel like an Explosher (long range slow bomber, terrible in close quarters). I was hoping for a new Blob lobber like Tri Blob (3 blobs but they're 2 bubbles each), Big Blob (bigger but slower bubbles that last longer), etc.
As for Splatoon and where Nintendo goes next, I desperately hope they split the team and do Animal Crossing and S4 with separate teams. The new console is coming next year, and I just think Splatoon is the more important franchise. Yes AC sold 3 times as much. But I think there was a strong COVID effect there. I bought it as my first AC game ever. Within 5 hours I confirmed my long held belief that the game is for a demographic who loves doll houses and clacky gibberish text. Because thats literally all it is. So yeah I'm not buying another AC game.
Why S4 then? I think Splatoon has a massive smurfing problem. Its even baked into the game with rank resetting. Why do people Smurf in Splatoon, but not Smash Bros? It's because it takes FOREVER to rank up in Splatoon, but in Smash its very fast. So if you rank reset in Splatoon, thats 15-20 hours of that winning feeling as you crush inferior players (which causes them to quit). Smash also sort of assumes you're good then lowers you as you lose. Bottom line, I think the smurfing in Splatoon is a massive turnoff for many people. When you play a match, and everyone is within 3 splats of each other, but there's 1 guy with 10+ more than the next, you kinda feel like 'whats the point of playing this'? Even popular Splatoon streamers do this. SMH
Splatoon is the best multiplayer game on pure gameplay though. A next gen console can implement better anti-smurfing techniques with a stronger client/server structure. Better voice chat too. But i think the secret killer app for Splatoon is 4-player split screen couch coop. Nintendo has never had the hardware for it. I believed this has greatly suppressed Splatoon since S1. I almost think they made Splatoon 3 (as opposed to more S2 DLC) because they want to really hammer this number 4 on the next game. 4 player split screen. 4 player team ranks (with Nintendo IDs to track you). Team tournaments baked in to the game. 4 player campaign coop. 4 color battles with 4 teams of 4, 16 players (or 8v8 would be so fun too). I really believe Splatoon should be Nintendos crown multiplayer game. It's just the best. I hope they're planning big things for S4, and I hope its a launch window game so summer next year.
