Lesson 57 How to play komal notes easily

This is one of the best lessons for the flute learners who have played atleast for 3 years. This clears all the doubts. The idea is to minimize the notes where flutist has to close the holes half which is difficult by changing the scale either on the same flute or different flute. Those who dont understand, one must first learn basics of harmonium and connect it to flute. Then learn sa re ga ma pa dh ni sa, in 10 Thaats ( bilawal, kalyan, khamaj, kafi, asavari, bhairav, marwa, purvi, todi and bhairavi) and try playing it on harmonium as well as flute.
Then to avoid pressing the notes half, change the scale of flute. Note: you can assume Sa from any note on the flute to change the scale.
