The komal notes.... Amazing! Just a slight variation and the sound is so different!! All the feel of the sargam changes, and the emotion also changes!! I bow down to you sir, for introducing me to classical music.
Many thanks to you and everyone who contributed to these lessons and the school. These lessons help me a lot in developing and learning about the beauty of classical Indian music, it is a great treasure for the whole planet! I wish you the most glorious blessings and successes.
AMAZING explanation SIR . It was pretty difficult to play teevr madhham , but now it's easy because of you. THANK YOU SIR !! By the way this was the biggest chapter in my flute notebook .
+Biswanath Roy
Dear Sir, thank you so much for your tutorials. I am only just beginning and the way you explain is very clear and helpful. I am practicing on a G scale bansuri. I can cover the 6 holes, but my pinky finger is too short to reach low tivra Ma. Does this mean that I will never be able to play raag Yaman properly (with the meend from tivra Ma - Pa)?
Sir, one thing i would like to know about: when I practice for SRGM and then goes down for PDNS, so what should be the frequency of PDNS, should it be played by lower octave (as they are played in lower octave having their nature...) Or i should follow the increasing order as the combination of SRGMPDNS ?
Nice leasson sir but how to prectics for More control on komal swras . When I play bhairavi bandish with tabla teen Taal it's very difficult to play and sangat with tabla players.
+Ravi Kant You are right that palying bhairavi is difficult, because managing the komak swar is not easy. however there are some technique to play bhairavi, one is to change the key note or scale of the flute. We will discuss it in Bhairavi lesson. Thanks.
+Sudip Guria thank you very much for your response. We are happy to know that. Our guriji Murtaza Kabir makes flute, You may contact him at +8801819294044 for flute.
A suggestion sir... In this video, your fingers are not showing the difference of full close and half close. It should be visualised by zooming. Thank you sir
Guru I play flute in only 7 days I play all song but I don't know ragga I m from Nepal I play Hindi song gazal of jagit singh so what can I do I want to make like paras nath indian
Why do you use such names "কোমল রে, কোমল ধা" etc? This isn’t useful. You should also have included the standard names like F#, E#, C# etc. You also don't use the "Sheet music notation". Instead you use " সারেগামা" type notation. I think people in the subcontinent should start using the standard notation with their traditional notation. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t disrespect the traditional notation. I just can't get it well. Sorry, this channel isn’t useful to me.
Wonderful sir, i watched many videos on komal swars but this video gave me the most clarity. Thank you.
Sir ,I have started my basuri tutorials from your videos...
Its Helping me A lot..
Thank you sir. ...
