- The PERFECT DAY spent together at home in Fort Lauderdale. We went on 6 ‘mini' dates in one day! We dedicated this day to visit 6 of our favorite spots in our home town of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Starting out at Las Olas, then to our favorite lunch spot, then to the marina where we keep our boat, to the beach, the dog park and finally to one of our favorite restaurants to finish the night off!

This was definitely nostalgic for me. This is why I subscribed. As a former Ft. Liquordale resident its nice to see how my city has developed since I've left over 10 years ago. Missing the life I had there!!! I'll be back to visit some day.

I moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1978. Loved living there and in Miami hoping to find my forever love. I had to move back to Tennessee to a small, small town to find my husband of 41 years. Enjoy seeing y'all.

Lovely to see Alex and Carter together. One small point - It's incredible how men whether gay or straight now use skincare products without any sense of embarrassment. I was young in the 1980s and it was regarded with suspicion but now quite the opposite. I have used Guerlain products for almost 40 years, including their fragrances. Their best creams are Orchidée Impériale which are eye-wateringly expensive but Guerlain products have never failed to impress me from a tender youth to crusty middle-age.
As I am a leg man, Alex wins.

Missing Florida and Fort Lauderdale 😢❤ 2022
Nice video, I lived in Fort Lauderdale from 1981 to 1996. In 81 it was like a small town except during spring break, I visit once in a while, man has it exploded. My $56,000 house I bought in 1981 (19 yrs old ) and the one next to it that I bought an 83 for $22,000, I sold them after hurricane Andrew for a decent price but in 2005 they both sold for $650,000 each, then when I come visit, I drive by there and they look exactly how I left them. Blows my mind. I met my first and only boyfriend and now Mr. Right in Lauderdale. And we just celebrated our 40th anniversary. U2 stay close and take care of each other. And your videos show with gay life is really like with the right man. I have never been to the pride event. I’ve always thought who are those people , over the years and people asked me if I was gay. I always answer actually I’m just happy but my husband is gay 😂,

@@itscarterandalex thanks, it takes work, but it’s worth it. And about Las Olas Blvd. up until the end before I moved it basically shut down by noon. It was just wedding dress stores in antique shops. A store named elements I don’t know if it’s still there that was open by friends of ours. I help them set up and get the store going with paperwork type stuff before I left Fort Lauderdale and change the whole street. We were open till midnight with loud dancing music, nice restaurants started to move in and it really change the whole vibe of Las Olas. That was like 1995. And I don’t know if the crêpe place is still on Las Olas but it was always one of my favorites. It’s so different down there now 441 was the end of town in Wilton manors was a dump, I lived in Oakland park behind the Maikai, which is now closed but it was so much fun in the 80s, but I still have family there and visit quite often. Maybe I’ll run into you someday to say hello., and for people that move there yes you feel like you’re on vacation for about the first year even though you’re working, but after that, you spend a lot of time staying in the air conditioning from the house to the car to work just like everywhere else

hi guys - I am enjoying your content!!!, and i'm often wondering how, logistically, you capture these shots: I guess you have a few tripod setups, and it must be interesting watching you set up, capture the video, re-do it if you're not happy with it, then gather the camera(s) and tripod, and move on.............
