100 KM SAND CHALLENGE

We ride up to a friend in Koekenaap, about 300kms from us on the West Coast near Lutzville. My late friend took his NEW KDX200 on the annual Namibia run. The first 2 stroke to do so. Everyone pooh paahed.....it sailed through without a problem ! A fantastic go EVERYWHERE bike !!

The secret to riding these sand "tweespoor" is to ride on the "middlemannetjie" and not in the tracks, as the sides of the tracks keep wanting to push your tyres sideways.

Problem is there are bushes on that mannetjie, and it tapers down to the tracks, so inevitably you end up in them

Travers although I have improved my sand riding skills.... slowly but surely.... but Fuckit sand still gives me the creeps. Well done to you all. I am sure Kenny loves the KLR650 after this excursion.
