Axel, 2021-06-13 we both (and thousands of others) took part in the COMRADES CENTENARY HOPE CHALLENGE 2021. With 45 km only half the distance you are used to, it was nevertheless a great experience for me. #ITHEMBA #HOPEIS payed off and although it took some time, the pandemic declined.
During my ultra runs, I heard some people talking about the COMRADES. One time I saw a shirt. I never saw pictures before. And now you did this awesome video, allowing me and others to join you. Axel, you captured the spirit of ultra running and especially the COMRADES by it's heart. What the hell comes into your mind to run 90 km while facing strict cut-off times? This video shows us why.
