Hi Candestina mendez, I've seen this in several of my students too. I think it is because it is quite a different sound than the chest voice so it can be hard to know where it fits in a song. I recommend you practice with some songs that have head voice. I have linked to some songs in this blog post: singgeek.com/how-to-sing-in-head-voice/
Don’t listen to those people, if you really love singing then go for it. Take vocal lessons, and as long as you put heart and practice into it and acknowledge and work on the weaknesses in your voice, I’m sure you’ll sound great.
Listen, most people don't have voices like Billie eiliesh or Bieber. So, they can't judge you. Just download an app called Star maker and sing with your friends. You will get better with practice.
In case anyone's confused by the piano track/exercise, when she sings it starts on Ab4 and the pattern is Major 3rds i.e. 4 Semitones/half steps. Then go up by a half step and repeat the Major 3rds pattern.
I have noticed - especially as of late - that my range tends to be lower in the mornings and higher in the afternoon/evenings which I'll chalk up to my vocal cords being more relaxed in the mornings and tighter as the day goes.
The human voice is a powerful instrument! Thank you ma'am for making this available. Every good gift comes from the Father of lights who also gave us His Son. John 3:16, James 1:17. We don't have a God who happens to be our Father. We have a Father who happens to be our God.
The way I found my head voice is that me and my friends were just going “hee hee” in super high voices and i used my head voice I didn’t know it was my head voice until i researched how to use my head voice
ilira - Lose You (Acoustic version) She is Queen of head Voice in that song!! Her 4 Octaves is 😍😍😍 She's AMAZING!! And it's great to practice head voice in. 😎
I've been stuck to E4-F4 (and unreliably at that) for months, until I watched your video for raising the soft palate. I looked at my soft palate using my selfie-camera on my phone, and to my surprise I didn't see it raising when I yawned (and I've been yawning on purpose to warm up and open up my throat for quite a while now ... or so I thought). So next I raised it further, to the point I couldn't inhale thru my nose (because the back of my nasal passage was shut), and then I pressed hard(-ish) from by belly and thinking of as high notes as I could imagine, and high without too much strain A4, couple of more tries and I hit B4-C5 ... very unstable and I had to slide it up to these notes, but at least I reached them for the first time! :) After several tries I sang couple of the songs I've been struggling with their high notes (usually transposed down to E4-F4 as G4 was extremely unreliable and ugly-sounding) and it was so easy ... Note: that when singing my songs I didn't have my nasal passage shut (by raising my soft palate that much), but it was really nice feeling to do something I've been struggling before, almost effortlessly now. G4 when singing a song was now ok (not great, but ok for quick shout in a song), while the A4-C5 still sounded like a horny seagull :) But if nothing else it seems like excellent warm-up exercise. However the theory is a bit confusing to me - I thought that nasal passage has to be opened to allow voice to resonate in the nasal cavity and upper skull ... or perhaps this nose-shut exercise just opened my throat more, while afterward singing with my nasal-passage not shut allowed decent head resonance? I'm still trying to comprehend it ... I'll repeat it in the next days! One thing I still have no grasp on, is how to sing high falsetto notes ... quietly :/ P.S. might have missed mentioning I'm a baritone, and in the early day I have no trouble hitting C2-D2 (though some days in the evening I'm either losing them, or just can't make them sound loud enough :/)

I used to be able to go into my head voice or in falsetto and switch to chest back & forth like all normal people can. I just couldn't reach the low notes (I was like 13, didn't have any voice lessons, so couldn't control my voice properly, didn't know how the throat and lyrinx works). After I hit puberty my voice was a lil deeper, and I still could use falsetto, head and etc. Then when I am 16 I suddenly lost my control over head voice and falsetto. Can't do ANY high pitch notes. My voice is in its deepest form and I can easily achieve bass notes. But it's not what I really want. Because of that when I try to vocalize in head voice my pharyngeal wall just goes BRRRR and starts to throat sing (wtf?) so I am just not able to sing anymore! Help me somebody please 🥺... Plus my soft soft palate itches for some reason (I am not sick). P.s I drink enough water everyday, humidity in my house is normal, I don't have cough, I don't have any allergies neither any of my ancestors had, I don't have wheeze or asthma. Help me someone ;(
I have questions, when i I sing with my chest voice it's sounds like same as I am monotone or just talking how to add more color to it and be more musical? Second. I can sing better with head voice if I am doing it right but how I know that I am using my real head voice not so said fake voice?

Hi Teresa Van der Merwe, Great question. Yes, that is a good way to describe it. the vibratory sensation in the head from head voice is not as strong as the one you feel in your chest when singing in chest voice, but it is still there. You can especially feel it when you place your hand on the back of your head where it connects to the top of your throat.
