Big problem with all these condos are the interiors...no worktable for PC proper, decor is fancy but the materials look like they will quickly wear if you live there always, and some other minor details. They furnished like hotel rooms, not living spaces. These condos are more like investment opportunities to be rented out to tourists via airbnb or a "vacation house" for very rich people to live for a short period from time to time, but they do not look like they are suitable for long-term/permanent living (room-wise, facilities are ok).
It will definitely be interesting to see how some of them age. I'm working on a video about buying condos where I'll discuss a lot of this. Thanks for your input!
You don't make money buying condo there because they build a new one every six months
I have friends who have made money buying condos here. Working on a video about that at the moment… they generally beat stock market returns but nowhere near the real estate returns in western countries.
Expensive price, as foreigner coming from the West you also need to consider flight tickets, health insurance, visa costs etc

Try to invest in pattaya brand new not finished Grand solaire condos. I've invested and making payments and it has gone up half a million baht injust 5 months

Definitely very nice. The owner or landlord normally pays common area management fees. And yes, definitely a trend I’ve noticed in the high end buildings. Quite nice actually 😅

They are certainly beautiful spaces but dont think are considered luxury class in Bangkok.

If luxury, the per sqf will cost a bit more which will be reflected in the look and feel, quality and built I suppose. Particularly The Address series from AP. But as it is some ppl here are complaining that it is already too expensive

We are looking to buy, but all the condos just seems sooo small.. Where do you put your suitcase?.. It looks like it is build for show, not practicality.. Ore am I wrong?.
The main buyers here have been Chinese over the past decade... it's an interesting market to say the least but older condos definitely offer better value when it comes to prices per square meter.
I'm working on a video about buying condos as there is a lot that you will want to consider before buying.

Hi Cal Im living in Nonthaburi. My neighbor area have a vacant townhouse for rent. The entire house for 6000-10000 baht.
If it's an area further from the main city or in the suburbs, rental prices for both condos and houses, as well as street food prices, are generally lower. there are many new housing estates and condominiums riverside view being developed along the MRT Purple and Pink Lines. About 30-40 min away from Bangkok.😊

Definitely. Bangkok has a very wide range in prices… these are higher end buildings in a rich area.
Living in Thonglor with the hi-so neighbors... pass.
Buying property in Thailand as a non-citizen... pass.

yout condo videos would be MUCH improved if you would : specify size in sq feet AND turn on tap in kitchen to demo water pressure AND specify if tap H2O is drinkable ! Dues in dollars ? Last, where is water heater and what is capacity ???
Thanks. I will add the square feet. Normally you shouldn't drink tap water in Thailand, and would need to add a water filter. The water pressure and heater would be useful to add tho. Thanks for the input!

I find that the market is fairly bifurcated between local inexpensive apartments and condos and more expensive hiso and international condos. I'll cover price in a video soon as its an interesting topic. Cheers
