@@matthiasnagorski8411 thank you, and I think it has to do with great writing, you don’t just wanna know the story you wanna know the whole world that was constructed from nothing but the ideas and thoughts of another persons mind
The Shark dad going "Oh great, a red light! Doesn't anyone realize I have to keep moving" was a brilliant biology joke. Big props to whoever wrote that one.
shadowmenace 16 Are we also gonna ignore that Lizzie once essentially brainwashed Nigel to make him act the way she wanted him too? That’s legitimately disturbing.
I haven't gotten to that part of the video yet, but does AlphaJay address the implication that delightfulization might've permanently locked the ages of the DC? The DC are still children, even though Sector Z is implied to be missing for a while, and Numbuh Zero somehow knew about them (though that might've been recommissioning "filling him in"). Meaning that they're not only brainwashed children, but could actually be brainwashed PERMANENT children.
@@cromanticheer he mentions that it may be possible that they have been permanently stuck at that age and that it's ironic because they want to be adults so bad
To this day, I'm STILL MAD Cartoon Network never picked up Galactic Kids Next Door. I still remember that site being announced, and everyone flipped. Now days I'm scared of it being brought back in a Teen Titans Go fashion.
Sometimes I wonder if that was supposed to have political undertones in it about how spanking your children has been proven to be a bad thing and how you shouldn't do it.
@@Sqwivig I kinda hope it was, getting spanked is actually very traumatic(coming from someone who was spanked when they were little), its child abuse and people try to justify it.
@@andrebryant5081 have you perhaps considered that kids don’t respect adults because adults apparently default to abuse when they don’t get their way instead of having a conversation with their children?
I love how horrible the reality of this world is Like seriously Adults and teenagers basically want to enslave children and destroy them and they have to fight for it themselves That's horrible since adults are usually the ones supposed to protect and teenagers are traitors
I'd be one of the adults who wouldn't take part in the enslavement of the children and would try to help in any way i could like foiling or sabotaging their evil plans in some way.
As a Kid I also wondered why adults were weird and always sad or angry, just like KND. Now that I'm 20 I understand why. Also as a kid I Remember seeing teens an adults the same way I literally had no distinction from them. For me teens were just adults that didn't work. KND is goted.
It’s more like… every man for themselves. Everyone is on their own side. I’m turning 21 in February, and I still feel like a teen (and get treated like one. I do look like a young teenager still and sound even younger ngl). But even irl, teens still hate adults and vise versa. I don’t really remember this show because it was excruciatingly boring to me as a child. But watching this review… I definitely want to watch it now.
i'd honestly probably work on my own terms, essentially as a form of weapons dealer, only not working with kids because its too dangerous for kids to have weapons oh also i'd probably try to unify everyone and get peace between both sides, mostly by improving society in a way that would prevent further "bad adults" in the future, and rehabilitating the current "bad adults"
Ehh the last season kinda had a dumb story arc. Chad being a double agent the whole time was just stupid and just felt like it only happened just for a sake of a twist. And yet only Adventure Time gets crap for doing the "we totally had this planned from the beginning" thing.
Man, voice-acting cartoon characters in the 2000s hits different, especially when you've heard the same actors/actresses in other cartoons from that time period. Gotta love Nostalgia
@Car Ram-Rod I just like how every episode and item in the show had an acronym for it. I probably made up a few when I was younger but I can't remember them now.
At this point with them going bankrupt the might actually do it if people remind them that it exists. They need a series that makes a load of money merchandise wise, and KND did.
Missing my childhood shows! Including The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Courage the Cowardly Dog , Teen Titans, Avatar, Winx Club, ed, edd n eddy, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends , Camp Lazlo, Chowder, Flapjack, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory , etc. 19 years old and still missing these shows
Tgr fact that you didn't talk Numbuh 5's 30 minute special "OPERATION M.A.U.R.I.C.E"hurts me. Like that was my fav episode and the most standout moment for Abigail and her storyline
Yooooo you just unlocked an old ass memory from my childhood. They used to have Hella flash games, and there was one where they generated a knd number and name as they commissioned you into the knd. I wrote it down and kept up with it for years, but I lost it when I moved when I was 10 and....I guess that was my unceremonious decommissioning...🥺😭
Literally completely forgot about this show and it was such a big part of my early childhood too. I had a Kuki figure but couldn't figure it out who she was for years until I found the show again. It was odd. Old CN shows feels like fever dreams.
One of my favorite parts of Codename KND is that each member had their own villains, like StickyBeard and Numbuh 5. Yes, he was an enemy of all of KND, but he had a particular rivalry with her.
Honestly Number 5 had the most interesting rivals. And her interactions with villains like the Delightful Children from Down the Lane were really neat. Stickybeard and that German kid (in her more Indiana Jones inspired stories) were some of best episodes.
Brianna Chiavetta yeah heinrich (whatever the hell) was a girl who blamed numbuh five for becoming...whatever. He was also chocolate. And a sprout. And a pharaoh candy monster
There is no better animated series than Codename: Kids Next Door, in my opinion. The message of the whole series is one that nobody ever seems to talk about, nobody seems to remember, and nobody seems to understand. The KND within the context of the show fight against "adult tyranny," right? Well, we know what they fight against, but what do they fight FOR? That's the true message of the show. The KND fights for the preservation of, not only childhood, but the preservation of the inner child. To me, that's a FANTASTIC message, and one that every single person on this planet should take to heart. The epitome of that message is in Operation: ZERO, and is really delved into through the final season. It's something that we all need to remember, especially in times like today. I think Mr. Warburton really wanted this show to be for adults but had to spread his message through us when we were kids. It's really a shame that, while people do remember the show, they also brush it off. Why don't more people see the genius of the show and the truth to the message that we all need to understand??? Folks, we gotta be sure that more people start to remember the Kids Next Door. I don't care if we need to bust out the Recomissioning device to do it, just get more adult eyes back onto it. I'm not going to act like a cartoon is the saving grace for our chaotic world, but it might be inspiration enough to help it find its innocence again. I thank Mr. Wartburton for such a great show, and I'll remember it and its message for the rest of my life.
@Rock Golem The two go hand in hand. The smartest person in the room has definitely lost their innocence in exchange for their knowledge of the evils of the world. However, the wisest person in the room has retained their innocence and sees the pure beauty of the world.
I was always vaguely aware of it, but it's not the only show to work with a concept like that, and I don't think it's necessarily the best at it either - although it _is_ the most direct about it.
As much as I LOVE this show, I prefer if they don't make a sequel. every time an audience feels nostalgic for an old show/movie they once loved, the reboot ends up being a thousand times worse. KND will always have a special place in my heart, but all great things must come to an end.
Up until last year, a restaurant near me (total old person place, like it’s named Hales, and it’s a known 75+ year old hangout spot, locally owned) had their kids menu 100% themed after KND, like that was the characters they had all over the menu. It was like this since I was a kid, so for well, well over a decade. I don’t know why they changed it, and I wish I could have asked them for a copy of one of their old menus because it brings me nostalgia to this day. I THINK I have a photo saved somewhere on my phone, I have 12k+ photos lol so it will take a while. Anyways, great video! I love it!!
Numbuh 5 is still one of my favorite characters from my childhood. Her drive, intellect, and level-headedness made her one of the coolest characters I knew. The voice actress is also one of my faves, she breathes so much life into the role
Kids Next Door changed my life, and I don’t think that my greatest creative achievement would even *exist* without this series. I was obsessed with it, and even DVR’d the world television premiere of Operation Z.E.R.O. and I seriously can’t say enough good about this series as one of my absolute favorite Cartoon Network shows of my life.
Not only did KND give us the reveal like that Mr. Boss is Numbah 86's father and Father is Numbah 1's Uncle, but they also gave us the reveal of the Toiletnator being Numbah 4's uncle (in the KND comics). It really cemented that the evil villains they fight against are all in the same general area, and if it's a small town, could easily be just these kids fighting their asshole family members. I think it's beautiful, not to mention my LOVE of the Henrietta Von Marzipan storyline. It really dived into Numbah 5's care for other children and willingness to help kids, even if the kids themselves are the villain. Really showing the power of redemption and love. This show was my childhood, man!
Kids Next Door was My Show. Unfortunately I had to Stop watching it after I turn 13 Don't remember Why though. Than these Ninjas try to make me Join their Cult. It was a Weird Year.
I could arrange to have that fixed, low-key. Actually that really shouldn't be the case anyway. During the Galactic KND conflict, all Kids Next Door operatives were meant to be recommissioned. I was, and you should have been as well....troubling... Anyway I'll talk to the guys at Moonbase and have you scheduled for immediate recommissioning. -Numbuh 673 of sector DK
The sheer amount of creativity in this show is impossible to forget! As a kid, it was a show full of captivating fun, but as an adult it is a reminder to be young at heart and to let art and creativity be free-flowing.
One thing that I love Nigel Uno (Uno is Spanish for one) Hoagie Gillian Jr. (Gillian was the Skipper's number two and Junior is obvious) Kuki Sanban (San is three in Japanese, I think) Wallaby Beatles (There were four members of the Beatles) Abigail Lincoln (Abraham Lincoln is on the 5 dollar bill)
Goddamn, I didn't realise how dumb Numbuh Four's name is. Speaking as an Australian, no one names their kids Wallaby here. That's like naming your child "American America Face".
One of the cool things I liked about the show was that every episode had an acronym for it and basically all gadgets and vehicles did too. They weren't always perfect but to make those up for each and every thing they used in the show was awesome to me.
Bruh, real talk, they literally got away with a movie poster for violence. No superheroes, no fast and furious, no Michael bay, straight up violence the movie. I love this show
After the general success of Samurai Jack Season 5, I’m normally all for things like adult swim picking up GKND. That being said, it probably wouldn’t work here, primarily because of the irony of a situation like that happening.
Agreed. In the words of Mr. Warburton, "a thousand times no!" Kids Next Door is for *kids* the first episode is literally about villifying the very concept of an "adult swim." I may be an adult myself, but it was so formative for me while growing up, teaching me that I could stand up for myself when the adults in my life were belittling me, that just because someone is older than you doesn't necessarily make them "right". Kids Next Door should *always* be for kids. Kids *need* the Kids Next Door, in my opinion.
I'll tell you exactly why the Galactic Kids Next Door wasn't greenlit. It was an action show. Since KND ended and the new era of CN started, action became less and less of a focus for them. With the "success" of trash like Teen Titans GO, CN could put out low effort and cheap content that sold easy merchandise. Action Cartoons just sadly don't "turn a buck" for the investors anymore, hence why you only see Action Cartoons on streaming services; Anime is the only real "action" you see on CN anymore on Toonami. Most of the newer CN shows are all just trying to copy Teen Titans GO, because it'll mean the newer shows can last longer and make more money via mech. I don't think CN is ever going to pick up GKND, but with streaming services like HBO, maybe it could find life over there. If Adventure Time is getting a sequel series on HBO, then I'm sure that'd be a perfect fit for GKND.
I 100% agree, maybe even adultswim could pick it up (as some of the animatics of GKND show the kids swearing, so it might even have a more adult theme to it). I just hope it gets a chance somewhere someday; the concept is so intriguing and had so much support from all the fans. If Samari Jack can get an ending after 13 years, then maybe there's still hope for it, if there's enough interest for it.
I’m making my own show right now. I want Cartoon Network to pick it up. It’s about an outcast catgirl who also practices withcraft, she has just moved into a new neighborhood, during an exploration, she meets her favorite singer’s ghost and they go on adventures together, he being her companion. The artstyle is also heavily based off of Robotboy
erick JR maldonado Herrera SU Future wasn’t a sequel though just a continuation of the original series and it only ran for one season in order to conclude the main show
Maybe it's for the best, (I know this example isn't cartoon network) what if they ruin it ( spongebob camp coral ) then you'd be wishing you'd never wrote this comment.
This show never fell, it was actually really good and stayed solid. It only got cancelled because Cartoon Network only allowed 6 seasons and the new president of Cartoon Network thought the show was losing views.
I remember how just accurate this series was when I was a kid, I could often find myself identifying with most of the kids and feeling like I had the same problems with adults and other kids. It was such an amazing depiction of how we saw the world, from how we saw all kids who were like a year older than us being basically adults, to allways being in a fight with the actual adults. The cherry on top was the weapons and just how over the top it was, I remember even building some of these weapons as I believed they actually would work the same way as depicted. My whole friend group got agent numbers too. Good times.
Wasn't there an episode where it showed that it's just normal kids playing inside a normal-sized tree house but in their imagination it's really the way they think it is?
the way that KND built up to its finale is one of the best I've seen in any show. I really think that KND was really the pioneer for the comedic cartoons that had and used continuity like Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, etc
I'm surprised you didn't mention how in the operation I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. episode that it was revealed that numbah 1's mom is numbah 99(or maybe it was 999) which is funny when you remember that his dad is numbah 0 lol Also Operation Z.E.R.O. is definitely one of the best cartoon specials that does alot for the main series
I remember having a bad taste in my mouth from Teen Titans "Trouble in Tokyo" that "Op: ZERO" helped wash away. "ZERO" was such a good movie. It helped shape the mythos of the world, added incredible stakes, great production values, and had a really powerful theme about hope and fatherhood.
Nigel’s mom (which her actual name wasn’t revealed to this day) is Numbuh 999 and was revealed in the final episode (which is Operation Interviews as of now unless we do get galactic kids next door) where as Nigel’s Dad (being Monty Uno) is Numbuh 0 which was revealed in the movie! And ironically enough, I thought Nigel’s mom was revealed in the movie (cause that movie came out before the final episode since if I am remembering correctly, the movie came out between the last episode of season 3 and the first episode of season 4 if I’m not mistaking) but no I was wrong
Woah the lore came together so beautifully. This show was everything, and it's so cute how the creator referred to the kids as 'his kids' at the end, because in a sense, thats what they are. Awww, great stuff!
It may as well be based off on a different person. The writers cant be held responsable for basing a character that was basically someone they thought they knew turn out to be someone completely the opposite of what they thought.
One thing I found interesting was how none of the operatives' parents were villains. The only real parents of an operative who were villains that I can actually think of are 274's (who would be Chad after the Season 2 finale), and Mr. Boss (86's father). Both times the parents were shown to care deeply about their children (such as Chad's parents only wanting what's best for him, and Mr. Boss kept it secret from her) It just seemed like a nice touch to show that the parents actually cared about their children.
I loved Kookie ( Numbah 3) I'm not gonna deny she was the nicest character but DAMN she had a Temper as shown in the Christmas special where she takes control of Santa's Sleigh or the episode where she turns up the thermostat
I don't wanna see a reboot of KND. But a continuation that takes things in a new direction? Something that could age up the tone just a little bit to fit with what shows can get away with nowadays? That could be really good. The movie has this amazing theme, intentional or not, about generations and abuse. While not directly shown, and I'm sure not done on purpose, the whole movie follows the abuse Zero and Father suffered at the hands of Grandfather. Father never got past that abuse and just wanted the approval of his father, and his brother rebelled and went against his father, overthrowing his reign and starting his own family. But in the end, he refused to keep fighting, to continue in that cycle, by doing the best thing he could to defeat Grandfather. He became a better father. And while the struggles didn't end, the next generation will always clash with the new, his son eventually stopped it all and saved the world. Idk what Galatic Kids Next Door could be exactly, but the creator wants to do it, and that's a lot better than any other reboot or continuation we've seen on the network.
They should do it from a teens perspective next. By showing how annoying the KND is and every time the little kids are defeated they just whisper to themselves and hide in their “secret club house”. Or how tyrannical adults are and every attempt to win freedom is blocked by adults or interfered with by the KND.
You enjoyed that Toiletnater speech so much you showed it twice (not that I'm complaining haha) Great retrospective and interesting video, it's interesting that the show had so much interconnecting story and lore to it compared to a lot of other series at the time. Like Billy and Mandy and Courage the Cowardly Dog and other shows airing at the time had reoccurring characters but KND always felt like it was building a full world in a way and things weren't often just brought up and forgotten about. In a way it set the stage for more modern shows like Adventure Time, Gravity Falls and other cartoons with stronger connecting tissue between episodes, even if it wasn't perhaps as serialised as those could be (though it seems the continuation may go further in that direction if it ever comes to be)
Something funny about Numbah Two: His voice actor also voiced Joseph Joestar, in the second part of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Thank you for attending my TedTalk.
i was in the middle of writing an article about how much i love this show when i saw this video pop up! so glad to see more people giving knd these nice video essays in 2020... it's legitimately one of my all time favorite shows and i could go on about how close to perfect so many aspects of it are
I grew up watching and falling in love with this show. I had a huge imagination and this show helped fuel that imagination even more. I rewatched as much as I could with UA-cam and I watched the ending, which before made me think "That's it?", to now me crying from the nostalgia and emotional ending that it was meant to be. I really loved this show along with Flapjack, Chowder, the original Ben 10 and the original Teen Titans. Those shows helped build me into the person I am today and I could not be more thankful for that.
Dude I was a huge loner as a kid- I was weird, overimaginative (which I adore to this day about myself), and other things I just didn't realize was due to severe adhd cuz who was gonna diagnose a girl doing well in school right? I was super by myself and bored and this show helped me have friends literally within myself when I couldn't connect with others. And damn, am I grateful for that. I'd love to meet the creator and chat/thank him for his help for kids like myself :)
Even as a kid they got me with some of their powerful moments; the fact that Sector V's parents are always shown from the neck down until something major changes.
count spankulaot: a full grown adult man who breaks into peoples homes to to man handle children and slap their butts *THE FBI WANTS TO KNOW YOUR LOCATION*
@@twilightsparkle75 but all research shows spanking does the exact opposite. The only way to raise good kids is to make them understand what’s right and wrong by talking to them, so they’ll make the right decisions even when you can’t punish them anymore
This was one of my favorite shows as a kid, I just love how imaginative the world is and the technology the KND used was cool too. Numbah Five always had the best episodes imo
I'm still annoyed CN wouldn't renew KND for the final season because the creator really wanted it to happen and all of the voice actors were on board and even made a animated short promoted it
I always loved how the weapons and gear they use are made from stuff you find around the house, makes it seem like kids using regular stuff and their imagination
As long as this series doesn't get the Reboot treatment let alone Julia Vickerman herself dare tries to touch this series I'm truly gonna go full on Jasper on her tearing her limb to climb along with anyone else. I want to see Galactic: KND to become a reality and not jsut a lost signal cause we truly need to revive this series one way or another. Just a heads up; Dee Bradley Baker and even her share the exact same B-day on "August 31st" so why do I bring this up? Well back when I was still 12 I did had a tragic nightmare of her kidnapping me and Numbah 4 tormented by her as she was the new ruler over Anut Margaret before she died. And yes I was one of them; the one! the one one she SHOUDl'NT have touched!!!
For me kids next door has always been about how kids will encounter adults, and those adults with mistreat them, and kids can fight back against the adults who mistreat them, that kids are justified in fighting back against adults who hurt them. It's a powerful and important message for kids i think.
In some shows there might of been it’s really based on opinion and how well it did in making money just like the courage video there was no fall just an end
Agreed, the show had 6 seasons and a whole conclusion, plus several specials and a movie. It definitely had a good run, and didn't over stay it's welcome
This was one of the most unique shows I watched in my childhood. The characters were interesting, had some fun villains & great plot twists especially in “Operation Zero”
Cartoon Cartoon Fridays were my reason for living as a kid lmao Also I remember these votes. I remember KND winning! I also remember when Billy and Mandy won,I voted for it and was super invested
*The Fall* is when all good shows on Cartoon Network comes to an end. Codename: KND was one of the best in the 2000s. Alongside Courage, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, and so on. I miss the 2000s Cartoon Network. It had its spark and now it lost it. You should do *The Rise & Fall of Cartoon Network*
I also miss the 2000s Cartoon Network they were at their peak during that time. From the original cartoon cartoons, classic Hannah Barbera cartoons, classic old cartoons from Looney Tunes to Tom and Jerry, DC animated shows, original action shows like Ben 10 and Samurai Jack, toonami, and of course adult swim . Just saying all of this man do kids now of days don’t realize how good we got back in the day.
tbh I would actually like to see galactic: KND to air on adult swim or something, giving the creator possibly more thinking space and broader ideas to use and to touch on that otherwise CN would never let fly because they would rather make PG reboots. They could take the samurai Jack route and being more toned up to an older audience since you know, the main characters from KND would eventually grow up, possibly shown to be tweens or even teens and so on and how the G:KND teaser we have gotten gave us info of how the story would’ve been headed, with the whole G:KND essentially declaring war on the KND on earth and how this could affect the characters and drive the story. But then again I would understand the original creator, writers, voice actors ect. would rather move on from KND and just now want to work on G:KND. codename: KND will always be a classic and a great cartoon for many.
I was always hoping they'd do that after the original show ended. Sector V as teenagers maybe fighting against other bad teens. They could expand the already existing undercover TND
Because were the adults now and the knd would hate us. This shows whole message is to never lose that inner child in you. 10/10 show and arguably top 5 Cartoon Network shows ever just because it had a incredible finale
Does anybody else remember sitting in front of the TV too young to actually be involved but absolutely DYING to be the Cartoon Network Executive for a Day?!? I wished for it.
My favorite special was The Grim Adventures of the KnD not only did all the classic cartoon network characters make an appearance it also confirmed they all exist in the same world
The movie where the kids play tag and if you’re touched turn into a senior citizen was awesome. 1’s dad being agent 0 was an awesome reveal. Also crossed a cool border on the show of showing that all adults used to be kids and adults aren’t always the antagonists. Also the reveal of father as Nigel’s uncle was very cool. Greatly creative show.

This is a "short video"?
Father is an underrated villain
He once tried baking kids into a giant cake which is both cannibalism and murder.
So basically he wanted to make a cake while singing " a little priest"? That is 1 morbid and 2 a hilarious homage
Honestly, Father was a very entertaining character.
It's practically genocide with how many kids there were too.

So, the adult dressed as a vampire that goes around spanking minors actually gets sent to prison. This show is just as amazing as I remember.

Adults and teenagers basically want to enslave children and destroy them and they have to fight for it themselves
That's horrible since adults are usually the ones supposed to protect and teenagers are traitors
Very well said and I couldn't agree more. I might start a bootleg KND clothing line to begin to raise visibility.
Stay young~~
@Rock Golem The two go hand in hand. The smartest person in the room has definitely lost their innocence in exchange for their knowledge of the evils of the world. However, the wisest person in the room has retained their innocence and sees the pure beauty of the world.
I was always vaguely aware of it, but it's not the only show to work with a concept like that, and I don't think it's necessarily the best at it either - although it _is_ the most direct about it.
U said nothing but facts my friend
@@shireenrazak7160 when you think about it they already released Close enough and Infinity Train so it could not be far off.
Please let HBOMax do that!
I’m making my own show right now. I want Cartoon Network to pick it up. It’s about an outcast catgirl who also practices withcraft, she has just moved into a new neighborhood, during an exploration, she meets her favorite singer’s ghost and they go on adventures together, he being her companion.

It would be interesting to see Teens next door since they talk about it in Operation M.A.U.R.I.C.E. But they never really go more in-depth about it.
Sector W would be a could spinoff team to watch until sector V has kids.
They should do it from a teens perspective next. By showing how annoying the KND is and every time the little kids are defeated they just whisper to themselves and hide in their “secret club house”.
Or how tyrannical adults are and every attempt to win freedom is blocked by adults or interfered with by the KND.
You enjoyed that Toiletnater speech so much you showed it twice (not that I'm complaining haha)
Great retrospective and interesting video, it's interesting that the show had so much interconnecting story and lore to it compared to a lot of other series at the time.

I like how everyone in Numbuh 2's family wears goggles

I'm still annoyed CN wouldn't renew KND for the final season because the creator really wanted it to happen and all of the voice actors were on board and even made a animated short promoted it
I always loved how the weapons and gear they use are made from stuff you find around the house, makes it seem like kids using regular stuff and their imagination
I feel like Letting audiences decide which shows get made is a really good idea. I’m surprised it’s not done more often
Wow. Pepper Anne, School House Rock, Doug, and KND? All shows I watched in my childhood.
Man I miss the 90s.
Well, if it isn't the Kids Next Door. Have you arrived to abscond with our birthday cake like you do every year?
Harlequins aren’t my style
@@crunchytacosupreme1597 Rude question to ask dude.

lmao... it's a cartoon. please relax

I want the galatic KND Spin off series.
For me kids next door has always been about how kids will encounter adults, and those adults with mistreat them, and kids can fight back against the adults who mistreat them, that kids are justified in fighting back against adults who hurt them. It's a powerful and important message for kids i think.
I realize that his smaller inspiration was his dad basically wanting him to adult.
Can't believe he never mentioned the crossover episode with Billy and Mandy.
There was never a "fall" tf?!
In some shows there might of been it’s really based on opinion and how well it did in making money just like the courage video there was no fall just an end
Agreed, the show had 6 seasons and a whole conclusion, plus several specials and a movie. It definitely had a good run, and didn't over stay it's welcome
Imo, never making GKND is a fall to me.
@@lisabarnes924 Well thats more Cartoon Network fault then KND
@@TheMainAntagonist Unlike Titans Go
This was one of the most unique shows I watched in my childhood. The characters were interesting, had some fun villains & great plot twists especially in “Operation Zero”
Operation Chad is actually one of my favorite episodes. Helicopter parents do stupid stuff and the bad logic just felt like toxic positivity.
*They made me bald* that is the most badass line i have ever heard
Cartoon Cartoon Fridays were my reason for living as a kid lmao
Also I remember these votes. I remember KND winning! I also remember when Billy and Mandy won,I voted for it and was super invested
I can still remember the premiere of Ben 10. Where indeed has the time gone?
When gumball ended CN was kind of boned.
I've heard catra is actually pretty good but I haven't been able to watch CN
Robotboy was great
Teen Titans
2010s Cartoon Network gives us Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steve Universe, Gumball and Over The Garden
33:32 - _"Their power levels are.. off.. the charts!"_
_"I'm really gonna have to get some.. bigger charts!"_
tbh I would actually like to see galactic: KND to air on adult swim or something, giving the creator possibly more thinking space and broader ideas to use and to touch on that otherwise CN would never let fly because they would rather make PG reboots.
KND is the most creative cartoon I've ever seen from Cartoon Network. The qualilty and genius behind this show still blows my mind today.
Can we get a rise and fall of Billy and Mandy video in the future?
That was a series that i couldnt get into for some reason. Nothings wrong with it. Just didnt hook me
It never fell.
Imagine there was another series called "TND" Teens next door and it shows the knd but in teen form and have them in a teens perspective
I was always hoping they'd do that after the original show ended. Sector V as teenagers maybe fighting against other bad teens. They could expand the already existing undercover TND
Me too, i would love to watch TND as well (just like Ben 10 Alien Force to the og Ben 10) ✨
I grew up watching this show. It’s gives me a sad feeling seeing it again.
Because were the adults now and the knd would hate us. This shows whole message is to never lose that inner child in you. 10/10 show and arguably top 5 Cartoon Network shows ever just because it had a incredible finale
@@alazkaalazka6087 I'm just angry because at the time I was watching the show, I was a young kid. Now that I'm a teen, it hits different
Does anybody else remember sitting in front of the TV too young to actually be involved but absolutely DYING to be the Cartoon Network Executive for a Day?!? I wished for it.
Did anyone else devote themselves to the ships as much as I did🤚😌
The Senior Citizombies still scare me honestly
That scene were the they take over was really powerful
Same. Especially the game over screen in Out Numbuhed.
The scene where number 3 and number 4 are trapped together still terrifies me to this day.
My favorite special was The Grim Adventures of the KnD not only did all the classic cartoon network characters make an appearance it also confirmed they all exist in the same world
My favorate episode of all time is the one with the Eye crust pies. It grosses people out when I bring it up.
I loved the villain. Nurse Claiborne needed to be in more episodes. She was so utterly messed up.
This made me feel really sad. Watching this as an adult growing up with the show, ready to show my own kid.
This all of us in our generation can agree to show the good cartoons to our kids
