The best part of this scene is Wilson- upon learning that House actually paid for coffee, the first thing he does is check for his wallet. 😂😂😂😂
XD
how did i miss that!!
@@San-pvsame!
I can't believe I hadn't realized that, I've watched these scenes so many times, I love hyperactive Wilson.
No, he was reaching for his wallet to reimburse House.
I'm not on antidepressants, I'm on (jazz hands) speeeeeeed
One of the best lines in the series
@@flyawaytodie If not *the* best line xD
@@flyawaytodie quite literally but somehow not.. funny :D

I have used this line many times.

"You don't know my medical history!"
I don't know, House seems like the kind of guy who'd know about the butt rash you had in 4th grade.
Right but he needed to dose him with speed to prove he was on antidepressants.
That butt rash was painful, itchy, humiliating, and not fun at all, and Id thank you very much not to bring it up ever again!😒😒
Oddly specific
He knows that the ninfas teach him well 😏
lmao fr
Gotta say Robert Sean Leonard acting was brilliant in this scene, both him and Hugh are why this show is so great!
I agree 100%
There are only two constant fights that keep me watching this show:
House vs Wilson
and House vs Cuddy! 😂
Watch the movie "Tape". All three of 'em were great.
*Leonard's
Every time Cuddy is on screen my pants get tight.
Wilson knows House well enough to know the coffee is dosed, so he grabs the other one. House knows Wilson well enough to know he's going to do this and puts the dosed coffee in front of himself. Feels like the "Battle of the Wits" scene from Princess Bride. Honestly surprising House didn't use the same approach as Wesley and dose both, he doesn't seem opposed to dosing himself too.
Well where's the fun in it if he's dosed both? Then he doesn't get to blame Wilson for not trusting him with the original cup he offered.
If only Wilson had been Sicilian and his life was on the line.
Would speed even affect house the same way after years of vicodin use/abuse?
I'm surprised Wilson didn't think house would dose the one closest to him as a double bluff to be honest. It would be exhausting being around house so I'd have to just accept and expect everything😅 although he only does these things with people he knows can take it so I would be safe
@@GaslightingIsEvil but in studying medicine, House must have learned that man is mortal, so he would have put the speed-laced coffee as far from himself as possible.
I bet both coffees were dosed
"never go against a sicillian when DEATH is on the line!"
"Ahah! You yawned"
"Ahah, you tried to kill me"

One of the best exchanges in the show, and no on can tell me otherwise. Gotta love these two
it's time to does you on speed boy🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wilson: "Give me a vicodin so I don't stroke" *Speedballs*
😂
"Excuse me, I have to go kill someone." is now a permanent phrase in my vocabulary
Somehow, I expected him to say exactly that
Wilson is the only one who can challenge House intellectually that's why House chose him to be his best friend, also the fact that Wilson is a push over and a sucker contributed heavily
right, like they literally dosed each other lmao
That... was never Wilson's strength.
two words: wilson = bottom
"I'm late for a breast thing" I am so using that!
you should always try speed for anything involving a breast for anything💀💀

The second you believe you've outsmarted House, that's when you've only screwed yourself.
It was a "Battle of the Wits," as a nearly identical scene in Princess Bride was described. And like Vizzinni, Wilson lost.
@@quillmaurer6563 I don't know about that exactly. The trick in Princess Bride was both cups were spiked. House offered the non-spiked cup because he knew Wilson would be suspicious. Similar outcome, different trick.
@@UmisTsukishiro00 Slightly different trick, but Wilson faced the same challenge Vizzinni did, knowing that presumably one of the cups was spiked and having to analyze the other person to try to figure out which one would have been spiked. Both Vizzinni and Wilson believed they'd been offered the spiked cup and thus took the one the other had. House's methodology was a bit different (and less guaranteed, but he also knew his opponent) but with the same outcome. Honestly I'm surprised House didn't use the same approach as Wesley, as he doesn't seem to mind drugging himself.
@@quillmaurer6563 If House speed-ed his own coffee, that would have been just as funny!
@@UmisTsukishiro00 Wonder what he'd be like on it - would he be all amped up like Wilson? Somehow that's hard to imagine (but could be hilarious). Or is he so drug-tolerant that it really wouldn't do much to him?
Wilson has been dosed at least three times on this show and i love it
meh you would think he would be used to it by now🤣🤣
That tumor mention: little did we know…
It probably wasn't planned, but that happened atleast at one other time in the show ("Holding stuff in can give you cancer!")
House casually throwing out a possible cancer dx hurts knowing what's coming...

Wilson is such a trusting character. How many times does House dose him over the series?! He keeps falling for it! Get your own drinks man! 😆
For real. After the first time I'd never take my eyes off food and drink around him. And NEVER accept anything from him. 🤣
"A heart attack is not gonna kill you. You were in a hospital" 😂😂😂
true so true atleast he hopes🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Never seen this show but the leg and face movements at 1:22 is so perfect haha
And the label thing. When I took speed for my executive dysfunction I would spend like an hour doing something like that to get it perfect.
@@mary-janereallynotsarah684 Adderall or something else?
I like how Wilson just assumed the yellow liquid in House's coffee mug was apple juice.
I like that house actually warned him instead of letting him drink it
@@WetterThnWtr Well, cuz alcohol plus vicodin, plus speed plus anidepressants isn't a mix one's heart could possibly survive through
@@KaterynaKutsIt wasn’t alcohol in that cup
I love how house knows how well wilson knows him and pre-emptively swapped the drinks to make sure wilson drank the drugged one
The whole "youve got a cerebral tumor, you got 6 weeks to live" thing was either crazy cold and heartless forshadowing for poor Wilson or the writers hadn't figured out Wilson was gonna die of brain cancer yet.
He didn’t die of brain cancer he had a thymoma which is cancer of the thymus gland….nowhere near his brain
Pretty sure his cancer was in his chest
"You don't know my medical history!" If there's one thing House knows, it's absolutely everything about Wilson
so yeah House knows Wilsons medical History maybe not well enough to know he gets cancer mind you but well enough to know what he can and can't do to does him without killing him
That patient is actually a Saint. She is such a good person for not being offended. Even if she kinda liked him.
An angels patience, as a german saying goes xD
Yeah, she seemed real kind and sweet !! I don’t blame her, Wilson is cute in his own way !!
@@tayladunn7490 Also she was probably worried he was about to die with a heart rate that high
Wilson: I can’t give you mine (antidepressants) you have to meet a psychologist and get a work up!
Also Wilson: GIVE ME YOUR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE!
To be fair...vicodin is a pain killer. Anti depressants and most form of anti-psychiatric meds have the unironic consequences of causing a period of severe depression and suicidal ideation. Hence why he can't have it. Also take the wrong meds for the wrong presentation you could trigger other disorders
Also, Wilson has been given house antidepressants in secret, so he can't give house anymore without overdose
If I recall correctly, Wilson didn't want to give House antidepressants because he ALREADY dosed House with them.
Wilson said House would have to meet a PSYCHIATRIST, NOT a psychologist. They're not the same. Only a psychiatrist, who's a medical doctor, can prescribe medication for mental illness.
"You don't know my medical history!"
Really? I would bet he has it in a little folder in his desk named "Problems with Wilson".
One of the most wickedly funny sequences of this great show.
1:18 That House immediately drank from that cup would've made me extremely sus about what was in my own cup
As if house wouldn't chug a spiked coffee to prove a point
I love how House was thinking "Either he takes the one with "speeeeeed" in it or he trusts me. So either i make my point or - i get high.". Win-win.
house: give me your antidepressants
wilson: no, i can't, you need a prescription from psychiatrict
also wilson: give me your vicodin
I am so eager to get you on speed to see how weird you are on speed🤣🤣
my favourite has to be
"you dosed me!"
"yes, I did, but only because you didn't trust me!"
"I can't give you my anti-depressants bc they're not specifically prescribed for you! Now give me one of you're vicodin that hasn't been specifically prescribed for me!"
Do you want spoilers for the episode?
@@nandohenriques2975 Yea sure. I watched the show a long time ago and don't remember much lol.
It probably was prescribed BY him, atleast
Ah ha! You yawned!
Ah... ha! You tried to kill me!
Forever one of my favorite scenes.
I love it when the girl says, " You sure talk fast. "😂 Great performance by Leonard!
Can you just imagine going in for an exam and thinking your doctor is having a heart attack?
Love how instantly suspicious Wilson was about the coffee and how House switched the coffees, knowing that Wilson would take one off his desk and not the one in his hand.
Wilson fell for one of the classic blunders, and it wasn't getting involved in a land war in Asia
As someone who takes amphetamines on a prescription, and has had my dose adjusted a few times, Robert played the role of "Slightly high on amphetamines" very, very well.
It's strange how people with ADHD can be "Normalized" by Amphetamines, and then sent back to being hyperactive and obsessive if they have too much. Of course Wilson skips a step by not having ADHD.
Although, 185 BPM without taking enough to cause a massive cognitive deficit or even seizures is unlikely in someone with a healthy heart.
yeah, my max heartrate on an indoor cyclinc machine is 198 and I keep going >180 for like 30min
Also people: Get a methylphenidate ER, bc amphetamine is more likely to form addiction
@@guicho271828methylphenidate made me so anxious and didn’t help with adhd kinda wish it did with all the adderall shortages
the foreshadow " u have a tumor "
This really shows off how much self-policing Wilson is constantly doing.
1:15 house was like - mind = controlled
I love how he instantly knew
See he does care about him or else he wouldn't tell him to drink it..
I've used the "I'd have to deal with the fact that you did something nice.." line at work. Got a good laugh.
To be fair, Wilson did take the cup that was on the table, and not the one House was handing him. He didn't trust House, when really, he should have.
The fact house has a mortar and pedal in his desk makes it all too hilarious
The um....whatever its called that he does when he cant put on the gloves "Thats weird" ...lol! Every time!
The kooky music in the scene with him and Foreman sounds new, like it was made specifically for the condition of Wilson on amphetamines.
3:27 Wilson must’ve seemed so genuinely insane lmao
I don't care how good House is, he is a thoroughgoing bastard.
I like how the patient recognized that Wilson had an issue pretty quick.
"Ah ha!! You tried to kill me!!"
Certain drugs typically have a very bitter taste, hence why hiding them in coffee would be difficult unless that person likes his coffee super sweet with lots of cream.
Ive never actually seen someone on speed before but based on Wilson here I'd say its definitely close to how it feels to have adhd (yes i have it im on pills and everything)
Send me some Cuzco
given they give you speed for ADHD (or ritalin/methylphenidate)
Such a great show
With house offering Wilson the coffee in the beginning, I know house enough to know that he probably spiked the coffee, and I was right.😅
I'm not on anti-depressants, I'm on 👋👋 S P E E D 👋👋
The espresso with the elevator is the caffeine with the kicker. Also classic misdirection. Should have seen it coming.
Not house stirring coffee with a highlighter
House was probably thinking “doesn’t matter which he takes, either way I win”
He crushed up "crossroads", so they were dexedrine. I used to have one on my talbe next to my bed so I could swallow one every morning, sleep for another 30 minutes, and then leap out of bed, ready to go.
Wilson knowing House should have known that House would assume Wilson would take the other cup then what was offered
It was a win-win for house
Either he got dosed with speed, or Wilson got dosed with speed.
Playing on both sides, always winning.
Honestly, if that was me I would been like thanks for the free drugs.
House commits a felony.
I wish I had friends like House… why can’t anybody ever dose me?
watching house do his gums with the residue in his mortor was something I was not prepared for; But should have expected. My sides are in orbit.
5:10 omg he dabbed.. Noo!
1:27 Robert goes Jim Carrey
He just had a mortar and pestle sitting in his desk drawer?
0:59 Those are very clearly empty.
What’s funny is that his HR on the pulse monitor reads 86, his Oxygen saturation is 185 😂
House sure has an impressive immunity to icocane powder.
Okay I have only ever seen small snippets of the show and for some reason UA-cam started recommending clips to me.
Can someone please explain to me why the show and the people here in these comments are not freaking out about the fact that one doctor dosed another doctor with drugs?
It's like, the least insane thing he does on this show lmfao
Weird that we still don’t know why Wilson yawned after this episode
He was taken antidepressants, that cause yawns as a side effect.
@@gabrielabagala spoiler alert
House was taking it. The question is why was Wilson taking it or was he
@@wristdisabledwriter2893 It's clear to me from the dialogue that Wilson is taking it. Why he takes it, they don't clarify it, but I suppose that being an oncologist, and having 2 failed marriages, plus a best friend like House, are enough causes 😅
Please note: this is so common for House that he has a MORTAR AND PESTLE in his drawer!
Whenever Wilson Say's The Word "Electrode's" It Remind's Me Of The Pokemon Electrode.
Lol stirring with a pen 😂😂😂😂
Wow. I've watched this series twice, but not until all these shorts started popping up in my feed, did i realize how many times House drugged Wilson during this series. 😂
Dr Wilson had the most tragic arc
what a duo
The reason why Wilson is shocked about the number on the machine is because his maximum heart rate (before it goes dangerously high) is 180 (He's 40 years old in season 3 and the formula to calculated the MBpM is 220 - X where X is your age.)
Poor Robert Sean Leonard. In Dead Poets Society, his character commits suicide. In House M.D. his coffee gets spiked. With speed, of all substances. By a work colleague.
Wilson super trusting to take a pill from House after finding out he was dosed by him XD
Wilson is at 2x Playback speed.
The script writer, director❤
House! House! Excuse me I have to go find somebody!
this is god-tier acting if he did like
I have never seen an episode of House all the way through. As soon as I read the title, I asked "What did House do??"
Wilson hitting on a patient because he’s on speed is only like two notches worse than me at 16 trying to spit game. God if I had a time machine I’d go back and tell myself to crawl into a hole and stay there until I’m 24.
House constantly drugging Wilson throughout the series is hilarious.
This scene was even funnier in the Japanese dub.
He may have drugged him but at least he didn’t let him drink the urine.
"actually muchacho, i put the soy in this cup. i thought about real hard about putting the soy in the other one, in my minds eye or whatever."
"You are a vee-gahn but you should be gone"
I'm Surprised That House Stopped Him From Drinking That.
I’m already high strung and my heart rate is usually around 100 in my day to day, speed would probably kill me. My resting heart rate is normal tho, but I definitely run a little hyper more than usual.
what kind of friend sneaks drugs into a friend, he is not a friend he is narrsisist or at least borderline
