Cool idea, but I've got to be honest. These are some of the least 'totally handy' things I've ever seen. The cost of the tooling alone would be huge let alone the time needed to develop the skills required.

Like someone else said, horribly uncomfortable and ruined a lot of things in the process. Maybe consider a few smaller flat batteries and re-tooling the wires so they aren't bulky.
