Nice job done! But may I suggest a relay for the compressor, so that the switch doesn't have to carry all the amperage of the running compressor, especially at the switch-off pressure... 👍👍👍
Probably should at least pressure test it subsequent to welding. NOT with air but water filled first! My dad worked with a guy who died while pressure testing a tank with air.
@@inh415 I assumed the concern was the heat weakening the metal somehow. he's using compressed air at like 60psi. but yeah pressure vessels (especially where a gas is concerned) are something that could be dangerous if the walls were thin enough or the pressure high enough.
I have been watching the video for several years. can i ask what is written in that logo of yours? Thanks for the video! Greetings from Finland! 🎅🏻👍🏻🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮🔧
0:54 - 2:32 Do all those mounts serve solely aesthetics and compactness (as well as the similarly un-needed robustness)??? Could those step be partly avoided??? 3:54 - 6:23 Wouldn´t it have saved a lot of the hustle, i you´d use a single tank, instead of 2? It seems, that several of the steps were done, as a compromise of using 2 instead of 1 tank. That´s not a critique, I simply try to understand, cause too clueless. If a person like me, who has far less tools, resources and knowledge, decided to build a portable compressor, shouldn´t I adjust the proccess of the aforementioned 2 video-pieces accordingly, to get easier to my goal??? Otherwise, alsways a joy to watch, really extreme, would survive the worst nuclear holocaust, but too extreme for simple hobbyists, who just want it cheap, fast and dirty... ;-)
@@Desti-g5c they are not designed to be used often only when you get a flat and use sealant or a repair kit aside the road also my friend put one on his mini bike he build with an old motor and some metal and used it with one fire extinguisher tank for an air horn we got about 10 fills along about 12ish hours and it died
Goodness! That compressor is a loud pice of shit, no thanks! You Did all that work and used that crappy compressor, come on you can do better than that.
Even power-purges the moisture out...I LOVE IT!
Nice detail indeed, many DIY builds forget it and the condensation rusts the tank from inside! 💥
@@connerlabs Can't they make the tank from rust-resistant material Or even paint it with rust-resistant paint ?
Put straps on it and make it a backpack!
Просто сказка! Умение на высочайшем уровне! Удачи!
in my humble opinion, I think you should add a rubber spacer for the compressor to keep the vibration low
Amazing job my friend congratulations

keep the things simple. 👍🏻
@@yakut9876 that is quite simple...😉
Wow, this is extremely made indeed!
Brilliant idea.
Good job mister beautifully done
Self-made, with soul. Anyone can buy 🛒🤷♂️. He’s a great guy! A technician in front of the gentleman. 👍👍👍
Every project is so unusual, it is really extremely hard to make it again 😊
Thanks for great ideas...
Great project. 👍👍👍
Awesome portable device!
Welding on to a pressure vessel seems like a great idea
Probably should at least pressure test it subsequent to welding. NOT with air but water filled first! My dad worked with a guy who died while pressure testing a tank with air.
At the lower pressures this will work at, wouldn’t the risks be minimal?
If Co2 then they may have been at 55bar / 1000 psi or more. So maybe. Though definitely not a good idea with other types of extinguisher.

@@inh415CO2 has a vapor pressure of 75 bar
Why use a siphon hose if all it's doing is compressed air? There's nothing to draw but the moisture
I like this project. It's marvelous the drain valve idea.
Good job. How long dose it take to fill it up to 5bar?
is that just a fan to cool the whole system?
Excelent!!!!!

Cool thing . Maybe you can make a trench digging device. The tape biting into the ground
Nice
each video amplifies my administration to your technical skills
Admiration... 😂
Nice vídeo. Please make a air booster for scuba air tank. Congratulations from brasil.
Amazing ideas 💡

F*****NG TOO GOOD!!!!!!❤
Just because you can.... Doesn't mean you should. All craftsman, no engineering. Cool, don't get me wrong. I would use this personally.
It's a jet-pack ? :p
Don’t sure if welding high pressure vessel air tank is great idea , unless you want it to become jet pack in some point 😂
Wow keren
Alternative title. How to make the worst possible compressor you can for the most money. Extra points for being unsafe.
cool idea but it looks like you got a very cheap compressor. go with something more robust/stronger.
🇷🇺 молодец, одарённый👍👏
0:56 where is your angel grinder blade guard ? please don't avoid safety.

Should not have welded cylinders. They are now unsafe.
Look's osm
Sir, there's a question I always wanted to ask. What does your logo says?😂
مرحبا ممكن تعمل ظاقط هواء محمول يعمل بشحن لرش مبيد الحشرات ❤💔

Very nice dimes in your welds.

50-150$ for a brand new factory made one... I don't know who much it cost for the build...
You may be right, but the self-built has soul! 👍
that compressor will eat shit after the 10th fill of those tanks, don't ask me how i know
can you explain why?
