The red lamp led flashes for a solid second on mine and then stops. Everything looks good. All capacitors look good. Hopefully I am good to just replace the lamp module?
Thanks for exceleent manual!
Serhio ramires Thank you for watching!
Thankx, I have a Ep709 from more than 20yr, last day It didn t Start... Nothing, I think its the alimentation...
Were you able to fix your it? What was the issue? Funny thing is that I have a Ep709 too and it cannot start.
did you ever get down to the light tunnel and the 4 mirrors? a typical problem is the glue coming loose and the mirror shifting into the path of the light. I have one wit this problem, curious if you got there.
Nah, I had no reason to dig that far into it. I still haven't come across a better projector (for cheap), I intend to completely open everything in this one once it is replaced. Not sure when that will be, however.
Something moving into the light path seems to be a pretty simple fix - although I don't know the details of what this specific failure is.
I wish he had. I have a piece of hair or long dust string which now shows up on video, I ore it down to as much as OP did but haven't gotten inside the optical path aside from pulling the lamp :/ Gotta find this disrespectful piece of hair/dust and get it TF out of my projections.
ever consider trying to add the dvi port + missing components in?
Not really worth it. Older projectors are cheap enough to just buy one with the ports you need. :)
All that work, and you didn't have a look at the DMD chip?!
I was curious what model it uses =/
Infocus S8060-6402.
I think my power supply went out on mine, I didn't see a fuse in the video could you help, the green light was on for a second and then I hit the power button and heard a click now now power....
