Absolutely lovely. I wish my family would sing with me. My wife just gets annoyed when I throw on shanties or folk music, as she hears them so very often. Thank you kindly, Sean and Co. Curious to know if you have plans to complete the "just the shanty" series up to the most recent Shanty of the Week? My playlist feels incomplete lol. Also, I do understand you are busy and hope not to sound ungrateful.

You speak/sing french very well. Did you learn it as a kid, or later ?
I learned as a kid but then didn’t speak it much for 15 years then learned again in my 20s. Now my French is very fluent but with mistakes. Also, as I live in Qc, I have a harder time with European dialects.
@@SeanDagher I wish I could be as fluent in both english/french as you are ! But yeah living in Montreal surely must be helpful, although last time I went here I got the sad feeling that the french culture was slowly but surely being overtaken.

Hi. Ubisoft has an office here in Montreal, and one of my colleagues Dave Gossage got hired to produce the music. I work with him in Irish pubs, and he hired me to come sing the songs. That’s how it happened.
